We have a delicious meal on my birthday. The party had Chicken,Fish and steak. All the meals were excellent

Our waiter, Roland, was exceptional. Attentive to our needs and pleasant.
Check-in staff were somewhat stonefaced. Having said that, I will admit it was busy. Perhaps they were stressed. A smile or two would have enhanced our arrival.
The food was beautifully prepared and plated.
Overall, this is an above-average establishment.

Roy’s is a one time visit.

Our friends had been seated prior to our arrival and were enjoying their drinks. Once we were seated, finding our waitress to order our drinks was a challenge. In fairness, she did have a very needy table of six directly behind us who spilled drink and food and were loud about it. Nonetheless, a quick “I’ll be right with you” as she went by to retrieve clean up supplies and more beverages for them would have been appreciated.

Ribs appetizer were good. One order had four ribs, just enough for each at the table to taste one.

My sirloin steak was nothing to write home about. Ordered it medium but it was over cooked to the point of being dry. And it was not “well done” - pink center but still very dry. Sirloin is usually a pretty tasty cut of beef but mine had no flavor at all and was bland. It did not even look that appetizing; no grill marks or real color. Not a high quality of beef and yet at a price competitive with better known restaurants. Steaks I’ve purchased at Publix rate higher.

My husband said his swordfish was good but average.

Bottom line: For the money, there are other restaurants with better service, food and ambience than Roy’s.

This is my favorite restaurant in the Bonita Bay area. The food is consistently fabulous and the service is great. I highly recommend Meatloaf - I know, a very weird recommendation but it really is fabulous. I also love the TNT fish and short ribs. The calamari as an appetizer is great and we always start our meal with the jalapeno margarita.

I love Roy’s and understand this was the third day they were serving lunch when we were there. I was surprised there was on chef on and one waitress. There was a large group attending a tasting it looked like so they had their own dedicated chef. Just a little kinks need to be ironed out otherwise I am thrilled Roy’s is now serving lunch. The menu is great.

We received a coupon, so decided to dine at Roy’s. Our last experience wasn’t quite as positive as last year and that trend continued. We felt rushed to order, then when we needed wine fill ups, no one was about. The salmon didn’t have as much sauce as in the past, but was cooked correctly. The TNT continued to substitute a fish that wasn’t as great as the corvina. The food is still good overall, but it used to stand out. Managers kept coming by while we were eating, they should wait until we’re done!

Very understaffed. Waited for 30 minutes after our reservation time to be seated while empty tables went uncleaned. Usually love the butterfish but it was fishy tasting this time.

On vacation and wanted to treat the family to a different dining experience. The food was really good, but the portion was small considering the cost. I was surprised they didn’t serve any type of bread. I got the filet and it was one of the best and I’ve been to many steakhouses including Flemmings, Mastros, Morton’s etc...nice to get more than just a steam but it was only a few (4-5) small truffle fries. We ordered their signature chocolate soufflés, AMAZING! But expensive at $13.00 each. Id go back, but would have to have a little something before I go, or break the bank for some apps next time!! Serve some warm Hawaiian rolls, it would only add to the restaurants uniqueness😎

We had heard good things about Roys and saw a review rating it one of the top 5 in the Naples area, so we decided to give it a try. We were quite disappointed. My Caesar salad was several stalks of romaine lettuce with a bland dressing and equally bland parmesan cheese. My wife ordered the sampler consisting of 5 different fish. Two of the fish arrived at room temperature. My seared tuna was barely seared-a pale gray on the outside. We were discounted $15 for the room temperature fish my wife received. We agreed that it was not a restaurant we were likely to return to and overall quite disappointing. We would not recommend it, especially given all the restaurant choices in the Bonita/Naples area.

Some of the food was great: the ahi tuna roll, scallops, poke bowl. But our lobster was fishy and service declined as the night went on. We sat with dirty dishes on our table for probably about 15-20 minutes. Overall a good meal but slightly disappointing for the above reasons.

Roy’s is one of our favorite restaurants. Although they are a bit pricey, their food compares very favorably with other high end restaurants like Capital Grill and Trulucks. From my perspective, they are a great value when you consider service, preparation and quality

Had our Server been more attentive this dinner could have gone better - had quite a wait for him to even take our drink order and then for him to ask if we would like another glass. dinner (delicious by the way) came quickly once he took our order.

Usually an excellent experience at Roy’s, but this visit missed the mark. Had the Roy’s Trio, which is a dish with salmon, ahi tuna and butterfish. The salmon and ahi were fine, but the butterfish was improperly filleted, and was loaded with bones (17 bones). When the manager made his rounds and was informed of the situation, the comment back, after showing him the bones was, “That’s not good, I’ll let the kitchen know”. No offer of any kind of comp while the bill for the evening was $600. Have eaten at Roy’s around the country for at least the last 15 years, and this was far and away was my most disappointing experience.

Roy's in Bonita Springs has always been a family favorite due to their variety of excellently prepared foods.. Our Family loves the Miso Yaki Butter fish as well as the short ribs of beef.. Salads are a delight whether the Maui-Wowie or the Wedge..and service is always excellent. When we want an excellent meal creatively done, we always choose Roy's. Our son chose Roy's for his Wedding Party Dinner and it was wonderful.
