The food was good, waiters were wonderful. had an issue with one food item and it was taken care of. Thank you for making my boyfriends birthday wonderful.. We will definitely be back
Our waitress was amazing. But the biggest issue was the constant tricycle groups driving by.
Food was excellent as always. The macadamia nut in crusted sea bass was off the hook 👍🏻
Our server, Doug was amazing
Ambiance probably good indoor. Sat outside and it’s right next to a heavy traffic roundabout. Everything else legit. Food was awesome.
Honestly very disappointed in service and food. Not a $300+ dining experience. Waiter not knowledgeable long waits nothing but deliver food.. potatoes on all entrees were beyond salty. Not edible. Nothing was offered by waiter to fix situation. Chocolate soufflé was extremely tasteless and average for $17.. better dessert at an Applebee’s Understand it is during Covid and touristy area.. but just not worth anywhere this price .
My favorite restaurant! Been to three of them...consistent!
The restaurant was socially distanced, the service was wonderful, and my husband’s food was delicious, as was the lobster bisque that I had. However, I had the macadamia crusted mahi-mahi, which was dry and tasted pretty fishy. I wonder if it was left over from the weekend, since we were there on a Monday. I was disappointed in my meal, and probably won’t order that again. We were there for our 47th anniversary, and were looking forward to a delicious meal, as we have always had at every Roy’s Restaurant that we have been to, including the ones in Hawaii.
Love Roys Great Food Great Place... Service was good ... outdoor seating due to covid which is great just had to deal with flys maybe some citronella candles would help keep the flys away
We dined on the patio, outside on the street, because of CV-19. Interesting people and dog watching but noisy traffic circle. Everything else was great . . . our special occasion place.
Food was outstanding. Definitely will be going back
Had a great time. Service and good were great. Parking was $10 not $5 as advertised, however everything was above average to excellent.
Caron was our server, but she is also the bartender and stepped in to help out - she was GREAT. The meal was fabulous and service perfect
Doug was our waiter and he was awesome, very attentive and charming. The food was delicious. For an appetizer the waygu beef sushi was delicious, the butterfish and macadamia nut mahi-mahi were amazing. The chocolate lava cake was great!
We were in town for an appointment and had to try out Roy’s! The food was amazing! We will be back next time we’re in town!
The food was absolutely delicious and the service was attentive and prompt. They seems to operate very well despite the limitations imposed on restaurants during these times.
It's overpriced in my opinion. The foo is average at best.
food was great. blackened ahi was well seasoned. sauce was tasty. drinks were made well.
The meal was prepared to perfection the short ribs were divine the upside down pineapple was sinfully delicious
Roy’s is one of our favorite places to eat in Baltimore. The food is always superb and so is the service, however this time there was a couple who had little kids running up and down with no one saying anything to them and at another nearby table, this man played loud music on his phone for a few moments - totally inconsiderate of the other patrons. We will definitely be back to Roy’s for the delicious menu and great service but hopefully issues like the aforementioned will be resolved.
Everything was good until our server disappeared
I have been to Roy’s many times. This time the service was very disappointing. Not sure if it was the in-door and out- door seating g that had the service below standard or just a bad day. As I looked around in our area other guest hadn’t gotten their food either. So I’m going to contribute it to just a bad day. I have come here once or twice since they have reopened due to COVID-19 . Hope the next time is better.
Great service and creative food choices. The bread pudding dessert is recommended
I spent 90 l dollars on unimpressive sushi. I sent one roll back to be prepared over. Very disappointed because it used to be my favorite restaurant.
Wonderful can’t wait to come back! The bacon encrusted Chilean Sea Bass was AMAZING!
We went here for my boyfriend’s birthday and it was delicious! We had to try three appetizers. We got the Wagyu beef sushi roll, the pork ribs, and the chicken spring rolls. The spring rolls were not the best but the other two apps were AMAZING. Our meals were the shellfish sampler and the steak and lobster and all of that was delicious. Oh and their cocktails were soooo yummy.
It was an all of a sudden reservation. Loved the waitress Beth very accommodating. Little pricey but hadn’t been out in a while.
Love the food , place and great customer service! Manager Mathew, Kay, and JM took extremely good care of us! Best place to go and eat ! Love Roy’s big time!
Great ""date" place food is different but good
Usually the food is distinctly better than other restaurants. Last night... better than most, but no wow factor. When we pay that much, we expect wow.
The food was amazing and great portion sizes. Highly recommend!
The service is unmatched!! Everybody was so attentive! We had sushi, Chilean Sea Bass (exceptional) and the pineapple cake! All just perfect and still thinking about it a day later!
One of my all time favorites food and drinks are amazing. Staff is friendly and accommodating. I will be back soon!
the bartender used coffee brandy to make a Black Russian (twice), or watered-down Kaluha.
Server (Darrell) was outstanding, food was delicious as always. My wife thought your recipe for Butterfish was better in the past (4 years ago), although she enjoyed this dish as well. We will definitely come back, just not order Kaluha drinks.
We had a great experience and our server did an outstanding job. Our meals were fantastic.
It had been many years since our last visit to Roy's and were looking forward to our recent visit. The food and service lived up to our remembrances. Dining at Roy's is not inexpensive so we judge the entire experience by whether it was worth the cost. In our case that included a hour drive to get there and I am happy to say that our dinner was worth the time and money. Everything we ate was delicious, from the appetizer to dessert. The scallops over black rice were just right--the sweetness of the seared scallops were offset by the saltiness of the rice. The macadamia crusted Mahi-mahi was cooked to perfection was were the accompanying asparagus and red potatoes. We would definitely go again.
We will come back for dinner and hopeful that the service is much better. Our server that day was nice but really don't want to be ask anything about the menu. Whatever we mention, he only says, "do you want it?" He left us without appetizer plates after he served them. Didn't come back to clear the table for our main meal. Reminded us that it takes 20 mins for dessert that if we want anything we should order now. We like the food, so we will give it another try.
I had a happy time at Roy's for mine and my girlfriend's 3rd anniversary. The food tasted stellar and the surprise souffle for the occasion was amazing! I'd definitely come again for another occasion.
