The food was not bad, but I ordered the black cod which is always a mild tasting fish and it had a very fishy taste. I was not able to eat it afraid that I would get sick. I told the waitress and she brushed me off completely. I thought that it was very poor customer service.
We were celebrating our anniversary and everyone was welcoming and made it a special meal, especially our waiter, Tucker. We each had the Roy's Trio and some side dishes and the fantastic chocolate souffle. It was a great evening. One thing I appreciate about Roy's is that they read my requests and honor them as best they can. We always ask for a quiet booth and that's what we get.
We celebrate our son s birthday and we had a good time. Waiters were all very friendly. Definitely recommend for date night.
Food was great! Service was great as usual. Our server Elizabeth always does her part to make it a great experience. We are regulars and will continue to be.
food was horrible. service was horrible. Mahi Mahi was bad and they still served it! Two of my colleagues were sick.
Excellent food excellent service
Wish there was a Roy's in Boston
Yummy!!!! They made our anniversary dinner extra special....loved how they went above and beyond for us!!
Only one thing...the Valet Parking was not up to par...from pulling up to restaurant to getting car at the end of the evening...
Nice evening and the food was good. Wanted to redeem my Open Table reward but it was a first time for me and the restaurant did not know how to apply. Bye bye $60
Mediocre service when compared to others in the area. Food was good but not excellent.
Just Great! 5th time dining and its never disappointing!
Wonderful waiter named David, attentive, knowledgeable and pleasant. Lovely dining experience.
The staff was wonderful and very attentive, the food was very good bit pricey but very good
Always top rate food and service.
This was my first time dining at Roy's and I was not disappointed. The appetizer of lobster pot stickers was very good. I had the butterfish and it was delicious. It was cooked perfectly and not overly fishy at all. My dining partner however, ordered the macadamia crusted mahi mahi and it was over cooked. We did enjoy the pineapple upside down cake for dessert but were disappointed with the bread pudding. Overall, I would like to come back to try some other dishes.
We've been to Roy's several times now and this was BY FAR the best food we've experienced. Every time we've gone we love the food but this time it was exceptional. The waiter was phenomenal as well. We come back because you make it special for us. I love this place.
It's been years since we were here and it is still outstanding service and amazing food. We will be back.
We went to Roy’s in Baltimore to celebrate my wife's birthday. It was such a lovely dining experience and everyone was so friendly and helpful. This was especially true for our waiter Justin. He was helpful with our wine and food selection. We dined on the Wedged salad and the Mixed Shell fish Sampler and to top it off had the “Roy’s melting hot chocolate Souffle”. Thank you Justin for such a lovely treat.
Great food and service.
Everything was amazing! Took my GF here for her birthday and they made her feel so special and the food was out of this world!
To begin with we arrived early and the staff was happy to accommodate us. Then the appetizers came and were great. We ordered the lobster roll and fried soft shell rolls and were not disappointed. For the main course I got the Chilean sea bass and it was perfectly cooked and seasoned. We’ll be back definitely.
Great food and great service
The best as always! Wish it was still in Philly. Someone should open one in Philadelphia (downtown or KOP).
Excellent food a service - cocktails here incredible!
The food was delicious and the service was good. We loved everything that we ordered. There were a lot of great choices. The restaurant is high priced, but it would be good to celebrate a special occasion.
We went for our 19th wedding anniversary. We were greeted by two really nice host/hostess and seated immediately. The food was awesome and the dessert and picture was a really nice added touch!
Exceptional services and an outstanding dining experience. We held our rehearsal dinner with Roy's Baltimore and go back whenever we can. Have yet to have an off-putting experience. Even this past time around we wanted something that wasn't on the menu that we absolutely love and without solicitation the head chef came out with a to-go box of that said item, at no expense to us, so we could enjoy it later. You just can't beat this place when fine dining.
Was a fine dining experience, however overpriced for the quality!
The Chilean sea bass special was one of the best pieces of fish I have eaten. It was beautifully prepared with asparagus, potatoes and heirloom tomatoes. Roy’s never disappoints.
The service was good but the food was below average. When you consider the price we paid, this is not a restaurant that I would characterize as good for the money. Roy's in Koalina, Oahu, Hawaii was very good. I would not go back to Roy's in Baltimore.
My only comment is that my favorite dish, the Macadamia Crusted Halibut with Lobster Cream Sauce, was replaced with Mahi Mahi and I didn't think it works as well. I will probably order something else next time if this is a permanent change.
The location had amazing views as we were able to sit outside. The food was delicious and we did not have a long wait before receiving our food. Our server was knowledgeable and gave good suggestions on what to eat.
We have eaten at Roy’s a dozen times and never disappointed. Over Labor Day weekend they ran some food and wine specials that made a good value even better. Valet parking is a plus. Dining room is due for a refresh IMO.
Great restaurant to visit and eat. Will definitely return.
The food was all phenomenal and every staff member I interacted with was delightful. The layout is a little funky and makes it hard to manage or when they are busy, but otherwise everything was fantastic.
Food and service was excellent...........but, was it worth the price????? Considering the cost of Valet parking, food cost, tax and tip ($186.00 for 2 with only one glass of the least expensive wine), I'd have to say it's a bit too much. BUT, it is good!
We had a reservation to another restaurant but when I found out we had a vegan in the group, I thought of Roy's and it was the perfect choice. My only complaint was that ribs were extremely salty. Everyone else enjoyed it.
Wonderful as usual.
First time at Roy’s - everything we had was delicious. We did an assortment of seafood plates — lobster potstickers, several sushi rolls, crabmeat fried rice, edamame. Every dish as amazing. Ambience very nice, quiet enough for conversation. David our waiter was very attentive and informative. Highly recommend!
