One of the best restaurants to visit! I went for a birthday dinner and one of the private dining directors, Megan Marumoto, was so much help! She was very kind and went through every details with me before my visit. The appetizer, main dish, and the dessert all together were fascinating!
Delicious food, thoughtful service (although lobster came later than the steak), dined outdoor due to Covid so noise was expected. Looking forward to going back!
Excellent! Served piping hot so it stayed hot even eating outside. Everything was delicious. Love the butterfish & chocolate souffle.
Great place to eat during covid dine in restrictions. We were sat on the patio with amazing service and amazing tasting food. Price wasn’t cheap but I actually felt I got what I paid for. Roys didn’t disappoint ten years ago and first time trying it since then and they didn’t disappoint this time, even after a decade of time has passed.
Our server made the night especially fun. Brought a birthday drink and dessert for my husband. He was funny and very attentive.
My daughter and I enjoyed our dinner at Roy’s Anaheim on Monday evening. We made a reservation via Open Table, greeted upon arrival and seated outside promptly. Our server was very nice and welcoming. We ordered Lobster potstickers, a sushi roll and a salad to share as starters. I had a Mango Mojito and my daughter had the Island Sugar Cane. For dinner my daughter had the filet - medium rare and I had the seared Ahi. Everything was absolutely delicious! We both really enjoyed the sushi roll!! One of the best I have had! It was an enjoyable evening and we definitely will return!!
The food was outstanding! The waiter and manager were very attentive and did a great job for us. We will definitely be returning soon!
Roys always does a great job with service. Their outdoor patio has heaters, well spaced and comfortable. Wait staff are the best.
I never the waiter after he took our order, until the very end when he brought the bill. Didn't even ask to validate parking. Customer service was lacking compared to coming here many times before.
Always delicious with Asian fusion twists to food offerings. I had the lobster scampi with Udon noodles. Fabulous. Great service.
Have been numerous times. Not sure what happened this particular night. The food was not fresh, the produce was wilted. The apps were under seasoned.
Overall was good, could be better as the food was great however there was no table covers, no bread to start your meals, maybe due to pandemic
Always a pleasure
Awesome food. Barwoman was, per my request, creative on my manhattans. Great resulta!
We dined at a table for four outdoors. Fortunately, even with Fall being here, it was pleasantly warm and comfortable. Our server was excellent. Traffic on the adjacent street can be a little loud but can be 'tuned out' to the point of being unnoticed after a while. We like the in-door dining accommodations as well, but decided to 'play it safer' outdoors due to the virus. We were celebrating a birthday which was quite nice. All of the dishes were wonderfully prepared, as usual. Our only point of disappointment was that they ran out of their lobster entree, which two of us were looking forward to all day. The restaurant substituted scallops, which turned out to be just as delicious as the lobster. This lobster shortage (due to the pandemic) will definitely not dissuade us from our usual once-per-month dining experience at Roy's.
This was Our first time visiting Roy’s. I brought my mother here for her Birthday! The setting was nice for the occasion. Our server Melissa provided Excellent service and explained the menu to its fullest!
Finest fusion in the land!
Consistently excellent food and service
It was kind of funny that we out down this was for a birthday and while people at another table were given a dessert, we were not
I checked in for my opentable reservation; I got an email. Twenty minutes after I checked in, the restaurant cancelled my reservation to prohibit me getting points even though we were there for 2 hours and had dinner.
Great overall, nothing bad about to say.
Was served a $50 BURNT steak.
Did not have Lobster and New York Steak.
Great service and food. Loved the value and quality of Mahalo Monday deal
Wonderful friendly staff
We enjoyed out dinner with our friends at Roy's! The service was fantastic, the food is always good, and the Pineapple Upside down cake, my friend ordered 2 for himself!!
Great food and service
They were so accommodating and gave my granddaughter a cheese quesadilla plate right away. After our delicious meals of Misoyaki Butterfish and Short Ribs they brought her some ice cream with spreckles. We had an awesome time as usual.
Always amazing service and food.
Always great, innovative food and terrific service.
celebrated a 21st birthday. had an outside table so the noise from Katella was loud but not too noticeable. food was great, service (Craig) great. we had a wonderful time. thank you
Another outstanding dinner at Roy’s-
Mahalo Monday is a great value!
We asked for a “nice quiet” table and received the table directly next to the kitchen exit despite many open tables. The experience was just “OK” from there including desperately looking for wine refills and thanking our waiter for the birthday wishes even though it wasn’t anyone’s birthday. Perhaps the gent was overworked but not at all the experience you want for a $50 tip on a two person meal (total was about $320). The interior is dated and the menu is the same.
There are a LOT of better options for the price range.
First time customer at Roy’s and definitely won’t be my last. Wife enjoyed the ceviche, butterfish, and soufflé. Spent anniversary dinner there and the whole experience made it memorable. Definitely recommend the Anaheim location.
Wonderful service and food. Our server was amazing she even took some Polaroids for us on my camera. Amazing unforgettable night
Mahalo Monday so I know was busy and kitchen probably behind to fill orders. But took awhile to get food. Once got it, was fine. Thanks to staff. Thx to owners for extending mahalo Monday!
Wonderful Sunday dinner outside. Lobster potstickers were very good as was the chocolate souffle.
I recently took my gf here for her bday dinner and i was kinda disappointed. It didn’t take long to be seated which was nice. I know due to Covid they usually have the special menu with bday greeting. Usually they bring a dessert with a happy birthday on the plate and i was thinking maybe they would do it if i ordered a dessert for her and it came with no decor. The restaurant was like dodger stadium with the lighting. I ordered the braised short rib and it was good and my gf ordered the katsu chicken and the plate sure wasn’t good. I’ve been to the Pasadena location before that place is wonderful. They should have kept that one open and shut this one down.
I went with my husband , we enjoyed our meal. Friendly staff , delicious food quick service.
My husband and I went for our anniversary. At first I was a little disappointed by the ambiance. It was too bright inside and just felt like a casual setting. I was so excited to finally be able to sit inside a restaurant. The outdoor seating actually looked better.
But, once the server introduced himself and the food was served, we were sold. My old fashioned was delicious and the macadamia nut encrusted mahi mahi was fantastic. Everything was piping hot and delicious. Great service. My only complaint was the ambiance.
We celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary at Roy’s and had an amazing experience. We are frequent diners of Roy’s and they never disappoint. The food and service are always exceptional, and the staff is always very welcoming and attentive.
