Great salmon - prepared to perfection, not too well done but cooked all the way through, with "fall apart" moist flaky texture. A dish worth its weight in gold!

Our server was initially nice and pleasant and then when we mentioned we are getting the Mahalo Prixe Fixe, her facial expression changed to not so pleasant. I asked what was on the birthday desert from the hostess and she said it’s really good and will be worth it. I did mention in the reservations that we’re celebrating 2 birthdays. The check came but no birthday dessert. When I inquired she looked annoyed and all based on her facial expression. She explained that if you get a meal with desert, you don’t get a birthday dessert. I’m sure that’s not how Roy would have handled this scenario but it’s a way to cut cost. Why wasn’t that explained to us at the beginning? Sor our server them says, ‘If you guys want, I’ll get one.’ We had 2 birthday celebrants. The food was great!

Made a meal consisting of all appetizers- quite a treat especially the ribs and pot stickers. Others in our party had the sea bass- delicious as was the miso black cod.

Delicious food, wonderful service, a really great dining experience.
I was completely impressed with Roy's.
We went to celebrate a birthday and they had a nice welcome note on our table.
After they ran out of a dinner special, they sent over an appetizer as a make-good/apology.
They really went out of their way to make us feel like valued customers.
I admit I had forgotten how great the restaurant is since the Fashion Island location closed, but it's 100% worth going to Anaheim!

The cauliflower appetizer, butter fish, and the sea bass were delicious and highly recommended. But the kid's teriyaki chicken breast was dry (without the sauce), and was over charred. Service and ambience were above average, though for the price point (~$50 per main), it could've been better.

So my wife’s and I have never gone to this restaurant and have been wanting to try it. We were very impressed with the sushi roll we got. It was the one with the Wagyu Beef. Then we got the strip and filet and lobster tail. We were actually not to fond of the meat. The sear on the meat was almost a burnt flavor. Too chard for a sear. Wish it would’ve been better than the 200.00 plus dollars I spent. Not going to lie I feel as if I could’ve made the meals we had. I am sorry if that is harsh but it is my truth. Now the service was great. Great people serving us and very friendly. But food not good enough this night for the amount of money that was charged. Oh and the soufflé was excellent. I would recommend but with a it was ok

As usual, the service was outstanding, and very accommodating to our every need. My lobster was a little too salty for my taste, but my wife's butter fish was perfect. We'll be back soon!

Ambiance nice, waitress seemed like she didn’t want to be there, manager very sweet, she made the evening pleasant. Large prawns deceiving, (not large at all), table next to us informed us of dinner options not on the menu after we already ate. Prices high for what you get.

While food was good, I found it not as flavorful as previous visits. Started with calamari and cauliflower - just ok. Butter fish was good but the mahi was also just ok. Too expensive for what it was. Disappointed.

One of the best meals that we have EVER had in our lives! I would recommend Roy's to anyone that lives close enough to go there. The food was epic, the servers were kind, attentive and just all around awesome. Next time I am in Anaheim, or anywhere else there is a Roy's, I will be back!

Was here for happy hour on a Thursday and just had drinks and a couple of appetizers which were all very good, unfortunately the dinner on the following Saturday was not as good. The steak had no flavor and my Mahi Mahi was dry, which I honestly have never had that problem with that type of fish before.The gentleman serving us was great but we will not be back☹️

They were very busy due to a convention in town, however the food was very good. The chef's special duck dish was fantastic. We will be back to take advantage of the discount card offered to sign up for their club.

Parking validation is good for 2 hrs free garage parking. I would encourage ownership to remedy this. Our service lasted over 2 hours. We were fine with that, however having to use a c/card again to exit was bogus. Why pay the parking operator? Roy's was just busy !

Sorry they had to close the Newport Beach location....

The food was wonderful, but we waited an hour for our food to come out. They did at least give us some free desserts, but that didn’t help our friends who had just traveled from DC and were still on east coast time. We didn’t eat until 9:00pm, so it was midnight as far as they were concerned.

Honestly, this is a Tourist trap restaurant. for those who want a meal, go elsewhere. way to pricey, not enough food. dessert was GREAT. Service was good, and did validate but the first 2 hrs free so, no big savings.

i wouldnt recommend this location UNLESS you like a nice bar and want to hang out, again, small small service, no Bread!, no straws... tables hard to get an in/out of. nuff said.

Went to Roy's multiple times but this time we arrived 5 mins early for our reservation for four at 5:00 and was told we would be seated soon. We were almost first to arrive and one table was seated only before we came. Other people came after us and they were eventually seated before us. We were told they have to prepare our table which was not true. We ordered steak which was had lot of fat and tough. Very disappointed for what we spent that night. Probably will not go back

学生の海外研修の最終日に15名でアナハイムの店舗を利用させていただきました。学生は英語が話せませんでしたが、親切でフレンドリーなウェイターさんが、その場を盛り上げながら一生懸命オーダーを取ってくださいました。メインはロブスターとフィレステーキのミックスプレートを注文すると決まっていましたが、前菜とデザートを何にしようか迷っていたら、前菜とデザートも何品かミックスしてお持ちしますか?と提案してくださり、とても助かりました。お料理はどれも美味しかったですが、やっぱりメインのロブスターとステーキは絶品でした。レシートをもらうことを忘れて帰国してしまい、慌ててメールで問い合わせを入れたところ、レシートの情報をメールに添付して返信してくださいました。面倒なお願いでしたが、快くご対応していたたぎ、そのサービス精神に心から感動しました。アナハイムに行く機会があれば、また絶対に利用したいと思います。

Food was delayed about 45 minutes and when i got my filet mignon steak it tasted smoked like if it was sitting on the grill for a while before they served it.

We never tire of visiting Roys of Anaheim. It is always a wonderful experience with amazing food and service. We went for Valentine’s Day, there was an issue in the kitchen which delayed the timely serving of the main entree and they couldn’t have been more apologetic and bought us an extra round of drinks. Class act, nothing new though. I highly recommend this restaurant.

My wife and I love Roy’s restaurants. I was excited to make a reservation for 2/14 well in advance. I was a bit less excited to find out (48-hr notice) that this night would feature a four-course price fixe menu, with an average price around $85 pp. Thinking I couldnt make alternate arrangements in just a few days, we stuck with the plan.
Service was friendly but I must admit it was a little slow. Total time at the restaurant was two hours.
My wife ordered non-alcoholic drinks which still managed to be $12/ea so all told it was an expensive and slow dinner. I suppose most people may be looking for that but the short notice was not appreciated. Next time we’ll celebrate on a different day and perhaps a different place.
