We invite you to join us at Roy's Anaheim located in Southern California's sunny Orange County, right inside the Anaheim Garden Walk.
Great service and a warm atmosphere. Excellent food.
I'm sorry this visit to Roy's was a huge disappointment as they normally are excellent with it comes to their food quality. Surroundings and presentation were of course excellent. I had just wished that their food and price would have match the decor and presence. This was quite of surprise considering I had excellent service and food from here. Last Saturday was my birthday and of course I did signed up for their loyalty program and had this promotion to receive $25 our total bill if we spend $50.00. Lets just say what we ordered wouldn't be considered worth the money we spent on even without the discount, plus our waiter wasn't as friendly or make us feel as welcome to be there. As if we don't deserve to be dining within the people that normally frequent this establishment, so very judgmental and snobbish of him. The only saving grace to my birthday dinner was the dessert, not the one they offered for free, that was nasty, but the hot chocolate souffle. As a bonus and only redeeming trait for the waiter(forgot his name) was him providing us another delicious dessert, the pineapple upside down cake with ice cream for free. Overall, this will probably be my last visit to Roy's in Anaheim.
Jason was an amazing server. They printed out a nice note for our anniversary. I loved all the food being a bigger seafood lover.
our waitress was very good. The food was average. The wedge salad was soggy and brown. Butterfish was excellent. The mgr came to our table after she found out about the salad. She didn't even look us in the eye and just said "I told the chef about the salad" and proceeded to walk off. The Roy's in Las Vegas was soooo much better with the food and service (top notch). Too bad they closed all locations in Las Vegas.
Our service greatly impacted our experience and overall impression of the restaurant. To be fair a second visit is needed before i can comment. At this point i would not recommend.
This was our second visit, and honestly not as enjoyable as the first. We were seated right next to the open kitchen, which, while entertaining to watch, was noisy. The restaurant when full is VERY noisy. But the food is great, the drinks are great and our server was fabulous. She went above and beyond to keep us happy while the food took awhile (because there were a number of large parties in there at the time). We don't fault the restaurant at all for the noise or being full. It's just something to be aware of if you are planning a quiet romantic dinner or something like that! It's better to go on a weeknight and earlier, like we did on our first visit. We will still be back for sure!
Great tasting food. Ribs were awesome. Only wish you had more of a selection for vegetarian meals. Roy’s Pasadena offers a bento box which is perfect. It’s not offered at the Anaheim.
Excellent location to celebrate a special event. Food was delicious and service was on point.
The food was excellent and the service was top notch! The variety of dishes made it hard to make a decision but the choices we made did not disappoint. I would highly recommend this restaurant!
Food had sat for awhile before we received it, so it was mushy or dry depending on what you ate. Service was almost non-existing. We go to quite a lot of Roy’s and I think Anaheim misses the Roy’s traditional experience. As a fan, this experience was disappointing.☹️
It was a delicious meal that we really enjoyed. We had the chef's tasting menu and although the appetizer was a bit salty, they readily brought us another with the sauce on the side, and that did the trick. The salmon was done to perfection and the desserts that we had were the pineapple upside down cake, and the chocolate lava cake, both of which should not be missed! Service was prompt and very attentive.
We ordered from the prix fixe “Taste of Japan” menu. We started with hamachi sashimi appetizer. The salmon that we had for our entree was a generous portion and was prepared to perfection. We finished our meal with a luscious volcano cake. Great meal. Would highly recommend it.
Food was cold, quantities were very small for prices charged. Waitress forgot about what our meal included after she told us what it was. Roy's used to be so much better. Quality service, and value has all gone down hill. I'm no longer going here
We waited 5o minutes for our food to come out. The waiter was not attentive. Felt left alone for the night. Spent $105 but did not feel I got the experience
We had a reservation and asked to sit outside. It was not crowded at all as it was 8:15 on a Sunday. Our table was filthy. They kept trying to set it with clean dishes/linens and I had to ask several times for the table to be cleaned. Service was slow. I asked to order glass of wine but was not given a menu for 20 minutes when our dessert was brought out which was too late. The food was delicious. I had the ahi and my daughter had the salmon. We had a side of mashed potatoes and the chocolate soufflé for dessert.
This by far the best Roy's we have been too out of the three facilities we've visited.
Our second trip here was just as enjoyable as the first. Jason, our server was professional and up to speed when it came to service.
Roy's consistently offers an outstanding dining experience. The ambiance is attractive and the service professional and prompt. The food was good. The only downside is the price. The meal was moderately expensive reducing the value proposition to only average.
We had some issues with the food and the service.
Our server was excellent but it took us an over an hour to get main courses.
Except for the noise every thing was perfect
We make Roy’s our first stop every year before Expo West begins. Fantastic food and service. Always a great meal!
This place is over priced for the quality. I guess being so close to Disney means you can charge anything.
Overall, underwhelming. The food was the biggest disappointment.
Salty lobster bisque.
Overbreaded and cooked calamari.
Pathetic portion for seafood trio.
Service was good though
You won't be disappointed to have fish or steak, fushion style restaurant where you will taste different sauces. Highly recommended.
We got seated at our table and didn’t get greeted by our server at all, after 10 minutes I told the host about it and Jason helped us out very well by attending to us. We got our appetizer but the entree took 30 minutes and I had to call over the manager about it, she said it would be out shortly. It then arrived but the pork chop was RARE instead of medium.....clearly rushed out to try and please us. I then called the manager over and told her we were ready to leave, due to the experience we received and she gave us gift cards as a compensation...... only thing is this is the closest Roy’s restaurant to us and not sure if we will be able to return. It’s sad because we rarely get to do this and it was my wife’s birthday and she was very disappointed.
Excellent food and service! Will definitely dine here again.
Overall good - - the food is very good quality. Loved the steak and the crab fried rice :)
An expensive place for a night out
US$500 including a bottle of wine
Think could have spent it more wisely in other restaurants .
Nothing really special about the place
Sushi rolls are same price but much smaller. Always liked Roy's but $340 for dinner for four (2 kids) was too much. Wont be back soon.
We decided to go to Roy's because we had a gift card and everything around the Honda center was crazy BC of a concert. We got sat right away with our reservation. Which I'm glad we had BC I heard the gal say it was over an hour for the wait. The service was fantastic and the food was amazing! We will be back!
Wonderful service and great food!
Perfect place to be for dinner in anaheim. Food are expensive but it worth it.The service excellent and we celebrate as well my birthday and also my daughter birthday and we mentioned this to the man who served us and for our desert he ask to the pastry to write Happy birthday in our cake wonderfull..thank you very much
The food and service were both excellent. Prices are high, but somewhat to be expected based upon the quality and preparation. My wife and I shared both the same appetizer and entree, which were quite large. The server was quite attentive, as were the assistants.
Everything was amazing! We had the classic 4 which was a great way to try a few different dishes. Highly recommend!
Food and service is always good at Roy's YUM! The Deserts are great too.
We had a great experience at Roy's. Even though the dining room was exceptionally loud (they were packed), the food and service were 5 stars! We would recommend to others and we will come back next time in Anaheim.
Food was good but it just took a while for them to serve our food.
Great service took care of our large party of mixed ages wonderfully.
The server was excellent however something was happening in the kitchen. It tool forever for our food to come out. Pre dinner salads came out right away. Was almost an hour before dinner came.
