Terrible service and quality of food
Beat burger EVER!
Fish tacos outstanding.
Great food. Staff was very accommodating.
It was snowing hard making it difficult to the restaurant but, it was worth the effort.
Excellent food, excellent service, excellent setting! Super kid-friendly.
Food was very good. Casual spot. Seating was bad; we were in a drafty area that the waiter said... “had been that way for the past 39 years” and that was that. No offer to move us. Either fix the problem or don’t put patrons in that area! Very un-Deer Valley.
We used to love this restaurant. Apparently, they have a new owner/chef. Not the same great menu, cocktails or service. The Cheeseburger was the only great item. We came here twice this trip and we were just disappointed. Also, a kids meal for $20 is very expensive.
It felt like a Denny's sitting in a booth. The music was terrible lounge music with a weird mix. The server was great and the food was typical for Deer Valley - also expensive Deer Valley prices. The fish taco was $35 ( we were shocked til we found out it had sushi grade ahi on it ). We come here a lot for lunch when skiing and love it. Dinner was very disappointing. The atmosphere is sub par for a Deer Valley restaurant.
Disappointed in the menu. We haven’t been here in two years and we didn’t see as many options. The food was good but not as good as in the past. Service was good.
Disappointed is all I can say. We were looking forward to a good meal and a nice bottle of wine, and had neither. There was nothing appropriate on the wine list and the food was unappetizing.
The food was tasty and innovative. The hostesses and wait
Staff were friendly, efficient and helpful. We come here every year on our annual trip to Park City
Good for first day up on mountain, low key and close to condo
Menu is incredibly limited and very over-priced for what you receive. Food quality is average and lacks presentation and originality.
Very good food. Service really quite disappointing for Deer Valley.
Downstairs dining preferable. Upstairs seems to be family-oriented with little interest in curbing noise or children running around.
Family of 8 ate on Jan 2nd. Most entrees were good, the chicken piccata and fish tacos in particular. Steak and fish & chips were misses. Kids meals were good, and for $20 each they had better be. Warm chocolate chip cookie was yummy. Expensive evening but that was to be expected. Enjoyed the setting (mid-mountain) and the service was good.
Royal Street can be a great alternative to fighting the hordes at the lodge on a busy day. And the food is usually decent. But it is expensive and the service can be painfully slow.
Nice view, right on the ski slope. Good with kids. Menu limited but good. Worked great for us but wouldn’t say it’s anything that special. Great for lunch on the mountain.
The limited menu was disappointing. We had to reserve with credit card and Royal Street has s severe cancellation policy given that it is a lower quality dining experience than one would expect. There were fewer than five tables in use so why reservations needed was questionable. We would not expect such a low end cafe in Deer Valley. Oh yes they sat us in the back dining hall to wait so we could have a drink but AhHa they can’t serve in back as the liquor license doesn’t allow. Won’t recommend nor return
Table wasn’t ready when we got there. What’s the point of making a reservation? There’s nowhere to wait either. Door kept opening by our table. Good food and better than fighting for a table in the lodge.
Service was outstanding however the food was average at best and EXTREMELY expensive. I don’t mind paying for a good meal but for my wife and three kids (14,13,10) it was over $300 with tip and two of my kids ordered off of the kids menu. The adult menu selection was not great, I think there were 5 entree choices. When the waiter mentioned the specials we realized thy were all already on the regular menu. I understand the location is great but we paid half this and got a much better meal in the same proximity. Nice enough place but no where near worth the price.
The food was not edible and the cost of a fine dining restaurant.
The chicken piccata was one of the best meals I have had!! Scott the manager helped us about half the time and was fantastic!!
Would highly recommend!!!
Slightly hard to find in the evening when it is dark. Although well worth the time to search for the locale. I can say this was an all around favorite while vacationing in Park City, UT.
Our waitress was outstanding and made our whole experience wonderful!!
The food was poor and very expensive
The Café serves it’s purpose. Location in the village and huge interior space works great for arrival day meals and quick lunches.
We had a good lunch and a poor dinner on our arrival day. In both cases, the service was marginal at best regardless of tables occupied.
1st time here and for us it lived up to expectations. Greeted by a super friendly hostess and got a great table with a Mountain View. My wife and I ordered the guacamole appetizer which was terrific. The Italian white wine they had on special was outstanding. I ordered the chicken piccata and loved it. My wife had the ahi tuna tacos, and loved it. And our two girls 11 and 13 easily found options they liked, one getting spaghetti and meatballs from the main menu and one getting grilled cheese from the kids menu. Our server was friendly and attentive and the atmosphere is casual and comfortable. Great family spot. Prices are Deer Valley prices, so not a bargain, but we enjoyed it thoroughly. Would definitely go back.
We’ve been coming to the Royal Street Cafe for over 10 years. It is a must stop for any trip we take to Deer Valley. The food is fantastic (short rib tacos are AMAZING!) and the service befits a DV establishment - it’s above and beyond. Make a reservation and enjoy!
We have been to Deer Valley many times but this was our first dinner at Royal Street. We ate upstairs, which had a lovely fire going behind our table. Our server was Amanda, and she was fantastic! Friendly, knowledgeable, and an all around nice person. We will definitely come back!
Bad plate presentation, super overpriced due to simple and not special food, not happy with the menu choices, gentle staff and cosy environment
Love the food, great wait staff
Good food and service. The Bacon BBQ Bison Burger was heaven. Juicy and full of flavor.
We are repeat guests because they NEVER disappoint. The service, food and atmosphere is unmatched in the valley.
Perfectly adequate meal. Food was well prepared and tasty but not spectacular. Service was great.
Just another incredible lunch at our favorite place at DV! Our server John Good, was one of the best we have had!
Great food ...very accommodating to requests.
Warm and Casual place. Good for dinner with friends or family. food very good with very nice presentation. the waitress and chef went out of their way to be accommodating.
Been eating at Royal Street for over 10 years. They changed the menu somewhat this year and not for the better, notably the salmon. Also, over $30 for three tacos. Hopefully, they will bring back the favorites.
Service was slow
