Roxy - Eldorado Resort Casino Ratings and Reviews
My friends and I wanted a more upscale dining choice. So happy with our decision. Our server Dane was absolutely phenomenal! The wine list was extensive and they had amazing knowledge of proper pairings for the meals we chose. The food was heavenly and well worth every cent. The quiet atmosphere was perfect for us to chat and laugh. Thank you to everyone at the Roxy for making it a night to remember.
Our waiter’s name with Spencer and he was incredibly articulate and on point when delivering our appetizers, main entrées, and desserts. Never rushed, very comfortable. If there was any downside our group at five was seated in a high congestion area, so we literally moved our table a foot and a half have over so my guests would not be continually bumped into with folks coming back an forth from the kitchen. Maybe not the case on a normal day, but with the holiday maybe trying to squeeze in more tables than normal and we got pinched. Would I go back, absolutely yes!
I realize that it was Thanksgiving and the restaurant was very busy, however...
My wife and I both ordered the Thanksgiving meal. Our only special request was white meat only. When our dinners arrived we had lots of dark meat and the meal was not really hot. So, our waiter (who handled the problem with class and respect) brought us both new plates. But, both of our plates had uncooked beans, the bread cubes in the dressing were burned to a crisp and uneatable, and they forgot to put gravy on my wife's plate. Then, the waiter brought our the wrong desserts. Despite these slip-ups, we enjoyed our dining experience.
Bland watery mushroom soup
Cold gravy on only Turkey none on potatoes should have been served on side
Western Village Atlantis Peppermill Silver Legacy Grand Sierra Harrahs all tower over Roxy
Come on a bread girl coming around every 10 minutes horrible service
We loved everything about our dinner-the quiet restaurant with soft music coming from the lounge. The comfortable booth for our party of four. The waiter, Keith, was attentive, pleasant and had a great sense of humor. The bread basket included a bacon cheesy bread that was incredibly good. Our entrees included prime rib-juicy with a great crust, lobster-cooked to perfection, Rib eye steak-tender and juicy and halibut-beautifully done. Everyone loved their choice. We shared a desert sampler - that was three desserts - all mouth watering. I couldn't have been happier with my choice of restaurants. Highly recommended!
The service was friendly and efficient. We were disappointed in the wine list selections by the glass; considerably more selection if buying a bottle. The food was fabulous! I had the salmon and it was spectacular! Husband had the filet and it was cooked as requested.
One f the finest restaurants in Northern Nevada. Outstanding wine list with a great sommelier, Jeff. The menu is not extensive, but all food is great. Steaks, seafood, and deserts are all excellent. The appetizers are very creative, such as lobster escargot, and Catalan shrimp. The oysters on the half shell were large and as fresh as possible. Also the salads were creative and delicious
The bread was great the our entrees amazing. We had the king crab legs and lobster. They are a little pricey but it’s well worth it’s and if you happen to see a show there you a coupon for 50% off each entree and that’s definitely worth it. They did not disappoint and the service was spectacular. I can’t wait to go to Reno to eat here again.
Brought our 14 and 17-year-old grandsons for a lovely dinner before the magic show and they were very impressed; tried foie gras and escargot, lobster and salmon entrees, and a superb dessert assortment. The waiter was wonderfully gracious and efficient. We are so glad we chose the Roxy.
