The live jazz was great. Just a bit too loud for the space....
The service here is absolutely stellar. The host, the server, the bartender, everyone we encountered was attentive, conscientious and courteous. The food wasn't good so I wouldn't return. The menu looks amazing but our eggs and crab cakes were overdone. The best part of the dishes were the sides of salad and home fries...not a good sign. The drinks were great, though. We had cocktails as well as wine. You gotta love a mixologist who knows how to use chartreuse!
We made a reservation for outdoors but upon learning there were no heat lamps or sidewalk shed (late November) we moved indoors without issue.
Good, music and ambiance Was great. Service left much to be desired. Still definitely worth a visit.
Made reservations for 12:15 as they open at 12 for brunch. Was nervous that the jazz musicians wouldn’t be playing yet so I was thrilled when we rounded the corner and could hear them. Great sound. Unfortunately a little too loud for one of my daughters so we sat outside. Great food. Great service. Would highly recommend.
Great food and service one of the restaurants in Harlem!!
Great but a little loud
Delicious, great drinks, and great ambiance!
Everything about this place was great! From the host to ambiance we enjoyed especially the pink sangria 😉
The noise was very loud. Only complaint is that it was very difficult to talk to one another. I found myself yelling.
But the food was awesome!!
Reserved an outdoor table. When I arrived, they said they didn't have any, so I agreed to an indoor table. Took considerable time to get waited on: the service was slow throughout. They had live music which was also very, very loud. The food was good though. The whole experience was "extra"--not sure I would go there again for brunch.
Chicken and waffles was pretty disappointing. However, my friend's steak and eggs, the rum punch and service was great.
Exceptional food and excellent service! We had a lovely Sunday Brunch at The Row House with live jazz music. The ambiance was outstanding and the host was very attentive. Highly recommend!!
Great experience! Though I wish they brought the kids food earlier, rather than much later than everyone else’s.
The food was tasty however, I ordered lobster mac & cheese which contained absolutely no lobster. The waiter was kind enough to remove the order from my bill. Other than that the restaurant is great. I plan to return and obviously I will not order lobster mac & cheese again.
Row House is always a great brunch choice. Food is delicious and didn’t take long to come out.
Food was yummy! I was given a paper menu tho that didn’t have brunch on it (and that’s what we were there for) so that was confusing and I really wanted brunch… but I’ll eat anything and the apps definitely hit the spot
It took 30 minutes to get a drink- the apps were not good at all. The drinks were bad. The server did what she could do. Don't come for dinner - stick to brunch
Our wait staff was extremely professional and accomodating. The was pleasing to our palate and the cocktails hit the spot. The jazz band was a nice addition for brunch and the culture of Row House. Overall me and my friends had a wonderful experience.
We sat outside. Bonus is that the restaurant is on the shaded side of street early in the day so outdoor seating was relatively cool. The food is quite good.
The vibe was great. Nice music, terrific ambiance, great a/c. The Asian chicken wings were fire 🔥. The salsa verde w/ the fish tacos 🌮 was awesome. I definitely will be coming back for more.
Came here for Sunday brunch and enjoyed the atmosphere. The restaurant had a live band playing jazz the day we went and really set the mood. Service was fast and friendly and they made sure my glass was always full with a mimosa. I had the French toast and Mac and cheese trio. The best one of the trio was classic Mac and cheese. Would come
back again for brunch!
Very accommodating to large party, kind staff
Really great addition to Harlem's restaurant scene, but there are a few things they could do to take their food from average to excellent. We had the mac and cheese trio which was good but incredibly heavy and missing some green on the side. Chicken and waffles were disappointing, the dish could use a bit of spice on the chicken and more crunch on both. The shrimp and grits were very good, probably the best item we ordered. We also ordered the crab cake appetizer which was really delicious but came with a lot of water on the plate because the side salad wasn't well-drained. Cocktails were nice, but too sugary. Just generally an extra bit of care with the food would go a long way.
Service was great, ambience was perfect - there was live jazz when we sat down which was exquisite.
I came for brunch and ordered a crab cake which wasn’t edible it tasted old and I got nausea immediately. Then my friend and I ordered drinks first time the food came before the drinks but the drinks took about 30mins to come. It was not crowded at all and our service was just at the bar. We paid for the food we didn’t like and left
Always a great spot. Disappointted post Covid there was no guest DJ. Food and service excellent. Outdoor dining available.
We LOVED Row House!! Our ladies brunch was delightful and we will be returning soon!!
The decor and vibe with the live band was nice. On the downside, the band was too loud causing us to have to almost yell to talk to each other. My other disappointment was the service being subpar.
It was closed when I arrived for my reservation.
The service was very slow. Though I generally don’t mind having time to take things slow and to relax, at some point you have to check on people and bring the check. The food was all tasty and well prepared though the steak should have been medium and was cooked just about well done. I’d go back for another round.
I ended up eating alone, and they made it quite enjoyable.
Family get together from 4 stares. The pl ace is jumping but really portrays that great NYC vibe!! Best tapas ever: dint miss lobster empanadas, chicken wings, crab cake. Every one we had was fabulous. Drinks great! For summer, strawberry daiquiris. A do not miss place if you live NYC.
Nice Sunday brunch vibe with a jazz combo. Waiter was pleasant but service (food prep?) was slow. Very nice manager checked on our table and others, sometimes assisting with serving.
Brunch selections (eggs benedict and open faced BLT) were ok. Appetizer (shrimp taco) was excellent.
Took an hour to get me my food and the food was cold when it arrived
Sunday brunch with a Jazz Comb that played at fortissimo the entire time. It was extremely obnoxious. Unfortunately, the food wasn’t great. My date had the Shrimp & Grits. The cheese grits had no salt in them and the shrimp was under cooked. I had the Crab Cake Benedict. It was very fishy and quite unpleasant. They replaced it with the Chicken & Waffles…not the best.
It’s unfortunate. I was looking forward to this experience. I guess if I go back I’ll sit at the bar and have a cocktail. The Raspberry Sour was delicious!
This is one of the best salmons I've had in nyc, if you really like salmon order it here
Everything was great except the tables are kept very close together which wasn't ideal
Cool experience, good food
I love the food the service and the atmosphere at the Row House. The band was a plus and I love music at restaurants but it’s too loud when your inside trying to enjoy your company.
The place was clean, I enjoyed the entire I selected (waffle & spicy chicken) was tasty & I would order it again.
The music was turned up a little too loud for conversation. Overall experience was good.
