Disappointed in the beer choices, thought it was going to be a long list of interesting craft beers. Wish their oyster list explained more about the taste of the oysters or what to expect, the way that Neptune did. We told our server I didn't want cilantro, but he still served us ceviche with cilantro without telling us. Kind of lame for the price point. Everything came at once, too, including appetizers, which I hate. It was late night reservation, so why rush us? They also cleared things (like dipping sauces) at random, before we were done all our food? The clam chowder was not hot, just lukewarm....sigh. I had been SO looking forward to this place, it was the only reservation we made in Boston.

Open concept so therefore bar area and nearby very loud. We wanted to chat so we were happy when we were seated in an area that was quieter on the other side of restaurant. We had steamers and shrimp cocktail which were all good. Steamers were served with a yummy broth. All of our meals were excellent. I went for a pasta dish that was phenomenal. Good wine and beer selection.

Fantastic food, well worth the wait! My only issue was the wine list -- it was so confusing! Dozens of wines I had never ever encountered in my life, most in french or italian and minimum of $60/bottle, with zero description of the taste or guidance on food pairing. We asked our waitress to help us equate some of them with other types of wines we were familiar with and she really wasn't helpful, and ultimately recommended a $70 bottle that was nothing like she described it - way too vinegary, so luckily we were able to send it back after tasting. Nonetheless, really not an inviting wine menu unless you're a true wine snob.

Excellent oysters and drinks! The bartender was knowledgable about the beer and wine options (and Trillium is right next door if you want to pick up a 4 pack or growler). However, I do like the oysters at Eventide in Portland , Maine better. But the lobster roll was really good and husband loved the fish collar - a very inventive way to use what would have been thrown out or used in stock in other restaurants.

I recently went here for the first time with a friend, because other friends suggested it. It was terrible!, We sat at the bar, me and my friend and the staff was one of the rudest staff i have ever dealt with. The guys were very macho like thinking they know it all and were just rude and had no personality. The selection was no alcohol just beers and wine. If at least the customer service was good it wouldn't have matter. The one thing that i do must admit I ordered some fries and they were the best fries i have ever eaten in my life! their menu is okay. No shrimp selections but they had other stuff on there, however all i eat is shrimp so that was a bummer. i am sure tho the rest of the food must be good. but the lack of customer service would definitely keep me from going. dont need any negative vibes when going to spend my money.
I went on 6/6/16 at 10 pm

Overall the food was great- the crispy lobster tacos were delicious, the lobster roll one of the best I've had, my friends loved their oysters and the salads really hit the spot. The wine list is decent with varied price points. We were seated on the patio which leaves a little to be desired, only because it is on the corner of two somewhat busy roads coming off highways. It was a weekend and traffic was not bad and it was an OK place for people watching but it was a super hot day so I wish we were able to get a table inside. They were fully booked on a Saturday lunch time so no go on the inside table. The inside was decent- very high ceilings, sort of converted factory/warehouse vibe, very modern. Overall I would say the food was good enough to come back but next time I will try for an inside table.

I would strongly recommend having a reservation. Walk-ins when we arrived for our 12:15 lunch reservation were told that there was a 45 minute wait. I have been to Row 34 a number of times before, and each time, I have a great experience. The food is terrific (on this occasion, I had the warm lobster roll and the other person had the crab cake), and the service is good. It's one of my favorite Seaport spots.

The lobster roll is one of the best in the United States. Great craft beer list with lots of local and good choices. No cocktails (only beer and web). Sundays are pasta days with special options for Sunday only.

Old warehouse building. Raw bar, small plates and apps as well as full meals. Lobster tacos were amazing; loved the calamari. I had salmon, my husband a fish sandwich, all delicious. Extensive local beer selection, and a nice wine list. Excellent service.

I am temporarily precluded from eating raw oysters (and I love them). Despite that, I enjoyed the meal immensely. The pasta with clams was really well prepared. I tasted the Jonah Crab Cake and it too was great. My companion told me that the fried oysters were terrific but she wouldn't share. Nice beer selection.

This is my 5th time dining at Row 34. I am quite disappointed this time. It's 4th of July weekend and the main chef could be on vacation. We ordered some appetizers and 5 entrees. The clam chowder was salty so I asked our waitress to tell the chef to cut down sodium on upcoming entree dishes. However, our pasta entree dish was soo salty that my daughter and I couldn't eat it. The fish and chip batter were way too thick. That said, I recommend the crudos, salmon and grilled bass. For the high price that Row34 charges, I expect excellence in food, service and ambience. Also, don't wear shorts. The seat will leave a mark on the back of your thigh.

Row 34 has been on our list of places to try for a long time. Finally had the opportunity to dine here and it didn't disappoint. Our server was terrific and the food was amazing - one of those meals we'll be talking about for years to come. I had the Whole Fish - it was seasoned perfectly and paired with fresh peas. It's worth a visit!

Row 34 is a great place to eat delicious seafood in Boston. Especially if you are interested in a raw bar. The only issue I had was that the patio is quite noisy due to the traffic constantly going by. I'm talking big trucks, not a prius. Overall, I would highly recommend going to Row 34 when in Boston.

Outstanding dinner! A+++++ Only thing that could be improved was the length of time to get drinks at our table from the bar. Wine was poured tableside by waitress but it took a while to get a lemonade and couple of beer. Carly our waitress was outstanding and very attentive. Our 5th time here and will be back very soon.

Our server Danielle was not only attentive but did a phenomenal job providing excellent service. Having been my first time at Rowe 34, her service was crucial in setting the stage and being a deciding factor for me returning to Rowe 34 for future dining occasions. Danielle was personable and made excellent recommendations. The whole Mediterranean Sea Bass was phenomenal and as my first whole fish at a restaurant, certainly exceeded my expectations. The tartare was among the best I've ever had. I highly recommend this restaurant as it excels in every area.
