Try to visit once a year while skiing in Sun Valley. Always makes for a special family reunion.

Fabulous service. Attentive, prompt friendly but not intrusive. Views say it all. Spectacular!

Be sure to have the staff take a photo of your party out on the deck, before it gets dark. The multi-course fixed price dinner was great, with sufficient choices to make everyone happy. The classic fondue course was especially enjoyable. Our party enjoyed the Steelhead and the Rack of Lamb. And the ambiance of the old Roundhouse was unique and charming, especially with the crackling natural wood fire in the four-sided fireplace. The blankets for the gondola ride were a thoughtful touch and much appreciated. The wine list had some good choices. Se especially enjoyed the St. Supery sauvignon blanc, after which we enjoyed a bottle of Gigondas. The only negative was that our server, Nicole, brought out more white wine glasses for the red wine, and when we asked her for red wine glasses, she insisted that red wine glasses were not available at the Roundhouse, which turned out to be untrue. The service from the rest of the crew was attentive and impeccable.

We had a great lunch at the Roundhouse. Not many ski resorts offer on the hill white table cloth lunches. Great food and fast service. In and out within an hour. Love it.

Fantastic restaurant, would have liked larger servings.
All courses were about 2-3 bites except for the main course, main was larger. Absolutely delicious, just don’t come starving :))

We went for lunch which has a pretty limited menu so not a lot to judge from but we hit about half the menu between the 4 of us. Although it was all good with obviously good ingredients I would say everything was a bit under seasoned. We did not try the Fondue or the sandwiches but they looked very good on surrounding tables. I’m sure there were better tables than ours but our view was not as good as I would have expected. In general the place felt a bit tired. I may try it for dinner next time I’m in town but I am not sure I’d go back for lunch.

Spectacular view, excellent service, and charming décor. The view is most impressive during the day light, but the $20 gondola charge for lunch was unexpected.

We had a lovely dinner at the Roundhouse on a Saturday night. It was almost a full moon and we thought it would be a perfect time to dine there. Unfortunately, the clouds didn't cooperate and the moon was hidden. It is a fun treat to take the gondola to the restaurant and we really appreciated the blankets given to us as we got on the gondola. The meal was very nice and the service was good. It is a 6 course "tasting" menu, prix fix, but we didn't find that it was too much food. My only complaint is that the on-line menu is different that what we were offered at the restaurant . It probably wouldn't have changed our mind, but I was disappointed to discover that what I had picked out wasn't available.

Overall, this is a nice option for a special night out. Expensive, but unique.

One of the greatest dining experiences in the entire resort area. Excellent local sourced foods and a very extensive wine list. Multiple courses are fun and well paired.

Worst service in Ketchum. Seattle Ridge offers better views, better service, and equivalent food. Save your money. Eat at Seattle Ridge and then dine in town after skiing.

Truly a great experience. There are a lot of dining options in Ketchum. Out of the entire week, this was our favorite. The food was very good and the journey was special. We will be back.

As always, in a spectacular historic building, you will be surprised to find an excellent wine list, surprising menu choices (warm lobster roll!!, lollypop lambchops on a crisp tossed salad, the best elk burger ever) and service by Peter Kelley that topped the charts.

Access by gondola allows non-skiers to meet their skiing/snowboarding friends and family for gorgeous views and cozy luncheon by the crackling central fireplace. Just incomparable!

Atmosphere beautiful, food great, service superior! Was disappointed there is no sugar free syrups for lattes nor sugar free packets for regular coffees, not diabetic friendly. There did seem to be gluten free items. Please consider the many more diabetics than gluten intolerant people.

We were in Sun Valley for 1 week. The Round House was out standing. The Staff treated us well and even though we were only 2, I requested a table for 4 and it was accommodated. It was the best meal we had all week.

We had a great lunch with views that are breathtaking. When reserving make sure to ask for a window table. This restaurant does require that you buy a gondola ticket to get to the restaurant. If you are skiing you can use your pass.

One of the most magical evenings we've had with our four kids. All starting with a romantic gondola ride in the dark!
Service was top notch and the culinary experience was exceptional. The kids were delighted by each course and we must say we've never had them sit still for 2 hours this contently! An evening we will never forget!

This is a MUST DO while in Sun Valley. But book weeks in advance. Don't expect to just call and get a table. This is a local GEM!!!
