The prime rib is signature and the best in the city. The horse radish was hotter (and better) than ever before. Even the fresh bread at the beginning was tasty. The service was warm and welcoming, and was unsurpassed.

The ambience was nice, enjoyed the fireplace and little nook we were in. Chairs were very uncomfortable, the children in the restaurant were a problem as they were very loud, actually had to speak over them! We have children as well, would not have thought of taking them on this outing. Would be a nice romantic outing , but for the dollars spent , I would want some peace and quiet. Waiter and his service was great, ample food.

This is the place to go for meat-eaters, but the restaurant menu was not vegetarian- or vegan-friendly. There was a selection of table vegetables that lacked imagination (steamed broccoli? Really? Boring!). The pub had more interesting fare for vegetarians and vegans, and we were permitted to order from that menu, but some sort of special dish on the RT menu would have made our evening more special. Although the cauliflower "steak" was delicious, it was not especially creative either. The server was fabulous!

We had family in from the coast and wanted a special dinner. The service was very good and the Prime Rib was wonderful with generous portions.

Waitress was super helpful with her description of sizes of portions and knew her stuff. She didn't come to often which was perfect. She came exactly at the times we needed it. Place was quiet and romantic. Perfect place to celebrate your anniversary just as we did. Meat was prepared exactly as she described and was juicy, flavourful, tasty. We have already recommended it to others since our visit on Monday August 24. We started with the French soup and we very very impressed, cheesy and great flavour! We will be visiting again.
