Great as always. Fabulous food and impeccable service. Special thank you to Melissa who reserved us a great table and was super kind to my elder mom visiting from Europe. Can’t wait for our next visit
Rotisserie Georgette is an oasis amidst the hustle and bustle of New York. You step into a beautiful room filled with flowers and tapestries and tufted curtains. The food and service are excellent. And what a treat to dine in a restaurant where you can have a conversation with your companions without shouting and straining to hear each other. Their special summer peach white wine sangria is fabulous. Highly recommended!!
Excellent dining and noise level acceptable-best Mussels in town
First time to Rotisserie Georgette. The service was great. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Best roasted chicken I've had out. And a lovely wine list. Definitely will go back.
This was our second visit and it was as good as we remembered from this past Christmas. We would definitely recommend to other folks. The rotisserie chicken, signature dish, was outstanding.
Can’t wait to go back.
Welcome friendly. Service attentive. Food delicious. Overall an excellent experience. But beware that the wine list has very few entries priced below $100.
I will never go anyplace else in Manhattan for roast chicken now that I’ve discovered Rotisserie Georgette. It is just a wonderful, unpretentious place with a lovely atmosphere, great service and the best rotisserie items anywhere for not-outrageous prices. No one there is going to give you overwrought descriptions of exotic varieties of chickens, the precious farms they came from or how old each one lived to be. Your chicken will just be perfectly seasoned and cooked, with crispy skin to die for, servedwith down-to-earth side dishes like the fresh, seasonal ratatouille we had the other night. If I lived on the UES I’d eat here every other week. It’s that kind of place.
What a great find! Food, cocktails and wine were wonderful! Staff was very friendly and attentive. We will definitely go back!
The baby back ribs and roasted potatoes were especially delicious
Delicious chicken and fries, lovely setting and good service. A sweet place to be. Thanks!
We had a lovely Father’s Day luncheon.
everything was just perfect!
Great food, good service, lovely setting. We will return.
Awesome food. Great environment. Gracious staff and a welcoming dining experience. Will go back again and again.
The best asparagus and the best chicken.
Chicken not quite as good as I remembered.
A little dry. Service ok.
We loved everything about it and the staff were VERY friendly unlike some posh NYC restaurants. And Georgette was attentive and charming. Worth the trip down from Vermont.
Not only was the food and drink excellent but the service was outstanding.
Impeccable service and fresh, beautifully prepared food. Well known for the truffle chicken it delivered on all expectations. The fresh, white asparagus with Bearnaise was especially outstanding.
The restaurant specializes in rotisserie items, and both the chicken and the roasted asparagus were outstanding. Special mention should be made of the tarte tatin with creme fraiche for dessert.. The wine list emphasizes a broad range of French wines at reasonable prices, while the service was friendly and attentive. The setting, with a view of the open kitchen, is attractive yet relaxed.
Rotisserie Gerogette was a wonderful surprise in our neighborhood. The ambiance is lovely and the food is delicious. The roast chicken was some of the very best that I have had. Bar drinks were generous and they have an excellent wine list. The prices are a bit high, but overall I thought the experience and food were worth the price. I am telling all of my friends about it.
Roast chicken at $37/pp was terrible. So dry we could hardly swallow it. The food came out less than 3 minutes after we ordered so it’s all just sitting around ready to be whisked to the table. Very mixed message — it’s an upscale restaurant in a very upscale area of Manhattan with upscale prices but the food is on a level with Boston Market or a rotisserie chicken purchased from any grocery store.
Dinner after a flight from West Coast. Have been here several times before and this visit was up to standard. Moist chicken with crispy skin. Stuffed potato and asparagus were excellent. Coconut creme brûlée was great. Excellent service. Will return
I enjoyed the food, service and experience of eating there. I’m definitely going back and highly recommend it for a totally enjoyable dinner.
A frequently visited place due to the consistently great food & service!
Rotisserie Georgette is a beautiful, first class restaurant. The food is delicious and the staff is warm and welcoming. I highly recommend this restaurant for meetings, pleasure, solo, bar, etc. Wonderful place!
Met friends for a dinner - were immediately offered seating but wanted to stay at the bar a little longer - no problem or pressure from the staff for us to do that. Once seated service went smoothly and food was delicious. Even gave us an extra piece of asparagus at no charge to allow us to share a seven piece asparagus appetizer with 4 people. Very nice experience and very good restaurant.
We had the most wonderful Birthday/Mothers day celebration. The food was delicious, the ambiance was lovely, the service was excellent. It could not have been a more perfect lunch.
Thank you Georgette, for a divine meal.
See you soon!
A fun evening and Georgette does everything to make you happy.
Employees dedicated to make your meal special.
I will definitely come back.
It’s been better on past visits. It was mayhem. Loud and not a pleasant experience. Even with reservations we were seated at a table in the bar area. Not a good choice. While the food is always a hit. The experience was not. Not sure I would waste the money to go back.
The service and ambience were wonderful. We shared the signature roasted chicken and were disappointed in its dryness. However the other dishes were superb. The stuffed potato was flavorful, the asparagus perfectly cooked, and chocolate soufflé was warm and delicious. Service was impeccable
Very good anniversary dinner. Highly recommended!
I would say that the food was good but not outstanding.
The service was very good.
However, it was highly overpriced for the food and quantity given.
The portions were very small and though the food was good it wasn't something that I would have cravings to repeat.
Oh the whole rotisserie duck. Just perfect .
Loved it. Roast chicken to share with Fois gras. Enough said
We have been meaning to try Rotisserie Georgette for a couple of years and finally made it. It was DELICIOUS! The food was just like dining in a bistrot in France. The vibe is loud, so it’s not the best for an intimate dining experience, but we really enjoyed ourselves and the service is top notch. We will definitely return! A bientot!
We thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant. The food was very good and the service was impeccable. The bartenders were particularly wonderful. We are a gluten free family and almost the entire menu is naturally gluten free!
Although it was my birthday, every time dining here is special. My favorite NYC restaurant!
It was o.k. I thought it was very noisy maybe because of the tile wall. I did think the chicken was delicious.
The best rotisserie chicken in NYC...just like I used to eat in Paris restaurants. The portions are abundant, the service is excellent and the crowd is elegant. Everything was absolutely delicious.
