The dining room combines casual comfort and sophistication with touches that are both rough-hewn and refined. But the main attraction is the partly open kitchen’s rôtisserie ovens and their fine meats, poultry and fish turning over open flames. Abundant fresh vegetables, decadent potato dishes, heart-warming desserts, tempting cocktails & bites at the bar complete the picture. Everything was perfect from the moment we checked our coats to our getting them back. The service was impeccable, everybody was kind to us, and the food (I always get the orange duck) was succulent. Hands down the best orange duck in NYC. I've been coming here for a few years now, and I must say whatever they did, the duck is even better than before! More of it, juicier. I also liked that I had a respectful yet opinionated sommelier! She took my Bourgogne order, but also suggested a Bordeaux that turned out to be a very good choice for the duck. Let alone the fact that I was offered a very, very generous pour that lasted me the whole meal, our entire experience was so perfect that it felt like one you read about but never actually live it. We did at Georgette and we hope you do too. We'll be going back for more!

Chicken not appreciably better than supermarket rotisserie chicken. Had the truffle upgrade with the chicken. Didn’t seem to add much to flavor. Not bad but nothing special. For that price chicken should have been better

Rotisserie Georgette has long been a "go to location for fun casual dining. I have had family dinners, girls night and working lunches there and always been happy with food, ambiance (warm and cozy not stuffy), and service generally excellent. A fan!

Our daughter's 21st birthday, and wasn't going to make it from the Broadway show to the restaurant before the kitchen closed. Called ahead and they kept the kitchen open! Great service. Great menu. Great wine list. Great ambiance! Right choice.

We had a lovely dinner at Rotisserie Georgette. The hostess was so nice and communicated updates regularly. The chicken was cooked perfectly and the Brussels sprouts were delicious. They are very friendly to diners with celiac and their menu is marked with anything that contains gluten. We can’t wait to return!

The duck for two was not the quality expected. The meat wasn’t tender enough and slightly over cooked. The waiter seemed too hurried ( but attentive)for us to order even though our table was clearly not going to be used again that evening. Fortunately our evening wasn’t hurried because we had great conversation with our friends. We have dined at the restaurant many times but found this evening a little disappointing although we look forward to our next visit to our next dining experience. One less than optimal experience won’t deter us from dining again at rotisserie Georgette.

Rotisserie Georgette is always great. The staff is very attentive, the food is excellent and you are never rushed. Great place to take a client, friend or just yourself for a nice glass of wine and tasty meal that changes with the seasons.

Melissa met us at the door and was expecting us! Nice personal touch and she’s lovely.
Loved the intimate corner banquet for 3...made for easy conversation.
Delicious green salad G....going to try an recreate at home.
Roast chicken with sauce was perfect as well as the fries and green beans almondine. Had two special desserts; apple tarte tatin and a fruit plate with sorbet.
Lucky to meet Georgette...a very hardworking wonderful woman.
We’ll be back!

Although we did not expect or ask for it, we were given the Restaurant Week menu and later after we had ordered, were told that it was an error- That R.G did not participate on Sunday dinner . However, the Restaurant Week brochure which I picked up on the way out specifically says they do?????
We were given the "choice" of one dessert.

The chicken was dry. Paid xtra for cauliflower gratin.

this is a way overpriced restaurant.

I was really looking forward to coming here as I heard great things about the restaurant. It might have been an off night, but my meals were disappointing. The duck liver mousse was too bitter, my chicken was a bit dry and barely had any seasoning. The gravy was ok. The creme brûlée was good but not a reason for me to return.

Chicken. Chicken. Chicken.....all perfectly roasted! The servers were courteous and professional and the food came in a very timely fashion. We had fresh and interesting salads. Try the baked potato and the roasted cauliflower!

We had a wonderful repast...The Guinea hen for 2 was perfectly cooked and substantial enough for 3, although the two of us had left overs for a subsequent at home dinner. Fries and roasted potato's are outstanding. My Scotch pour was generous, the wines are a value...What can I say we will be repeaters!

The food was very average. Rotisserie chicken, not even on the Restaurant Week special menu, was bone dry. Wines per glass very expensive. We were sat at the worst table, against a column, although there were several more appealing tables available. Waiter lackluster. One friendly lovely hostess and one severe looking one, more interested in the $2 for checking our coats than anything else. Very disappointing. Cancelled res for 4 people next week. Your Rotisserie items should be spectacular. How do you stay in business? I thought you were terrific last year.

We had a lovely meal with great service. We enjoyed a great house salad followed by roast chicken that was cooked to perfection. My wife had the salmon tartare which was excellent but the mango desert was just ok and the sides of potatoes and and cauliflower were terrific and ample. It was nice to be able to have a conversation where service was not intrusive but attentive. We will be back!

I love coming here! Georgette is so welcoming and attentive, and the food is so well-prepared. If you see it on the menu, go for the chicken pot pie - nothing is better on a dreary day!

We go regularly for the roast chicken and mousse de canard, as well as the duck. There's nice wine by the glass and a charming, helpful sommelier (isn't charm and helpfulness part of the personality of a sommelier?).

The most amazing duck for two, a perfectly cooked magret and delicious wings and legs. I eat duck everywhere I go, and this duck was the ultimate in preparation and taste.
Moules basquaise were a delicious way to start.

A fun place with great spirit but not too noisy. Owner greets diners with a smile. Rotisseried food is delicious. We dined on the baby ribs - spicy cherry - not too spicy or sweet. Excellent Barolo matched the meet perfectly. Brussel sprouts with garlic and other tasties with baked potato excellent. Great location on 60th near Park.

Excellent French restaurant near Central Park. Service was exceptional, too.

If you've been yearning for the perfect sauce (l'orange...bearnaise...), this is the place. Silky sauces that the French perfected!
