The large chairs and roomy interior provides an ambiance that is perfect for the important business lunch or the intimate romantic dinner.
Always a pleasure to dine there. We go often and are never disappointed. There are wonderful specials every week.
OMG wonderful staff! Delicious meal!!! Thank you!
Authentic Italian at it's best! From the waiters, the food, the decor..........even the other guests! This place is what you'd expect when you go to an Italian restaurant in NYC
Over all the dinner was very good. The food was very good, service, ambiance, piano, etc.
I will go eat at Rossini again.
Our first visit and will definitely return.
A little pricey but everything about our experience was top notch.
The food was delicious with 5 stars + for the Melanzane Rippiene!
The Pollo Scarpariello was delightful as was the Veal Francese.
Wine is pricey but we were delighted with our Nebbiola wine.
The cheese cake was perfect .. . absolutely devine. Light, not too sweet, and delicately delicious.
Coffee was perfect.
The wait staff were courteous, professional and made us totally comfortable.
Our corner table was just perfect.
Can't wait to return.
Old school Italian restaurant with large portions and a friendly staff
Always a great experience. Fantastic food in a really comfortable environment. The service is impeccable. Reasonably priced wine list.
Love Rossini's. The service is fantastic; the food is great and the atmosphere is lovely with piano player most days of the week.
Also love the bar in front room. My dad worked there for many a year when it was the Town House. Bar is set up exactly the same and always brings me memories when I go there.
Rossini's is a wonderful Italian restaurant. There is a formal air to the establishment, in part due to the wait staff in tuxedos, the live pianist in the background and the attention given to their place settings. The food was delicious and the staff was friendly throughout the night!
Very enjoyable meal! Will recommend to others-great location in Murray Hill, easy to walk to
Continues to be one of our favorite restaurants we have EVER been to. Every time in NY, we try to make sure that we have dinner there. Thanks for making our anniversary special, and for the amazing food and experience!
Excellent menu and selection. We had fabulous seafood selections which were fresh and well prepared. Wine selection was unique and perfectly matched our entrees. Piano musician was an added bonus. Will definitely come back.
Excellent everytime we eat at Rossolinis
A good, quiet place to have a business lunch, thought I can't say I would be happy to spend my own money here. While the pasta was good, the Caesar salad was the smallest, tiredest-cheese $14 Caesar salad I've ever been served.
Always great service and good meal
This was our second time at this restaurant. Only critique was our dishes were slightly too lemony. Service was great. Including the nice too to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary.
classic red sauce joint, a true throwback to a better era of nyc italian restaurants. not to be missed.
I had a Restaurant Week dinner. The food was very good. Had the salad, which was good and a reasonable size. My entree was the special pasta: veal ragu over fettuccine. Again a reasonable size; I was able to finish both the salad and the entree as well as dessert.
The veal ragu was good but not like any ragu I've had before. Had large pieces of veal and not a thick sauce. Again it was very good, just not what I expected.
I'd recommend Rossini's.
We were in town for just one night and staying at a nearby hotel. Needed a place that was good for kids and grown ups alike. We were not disappointed. Friendly greeting at the door and led to our table right away. Servers were kind and told us they could make anything for the kids. The food was very authentic tasting and the bruschetta an added bonus. Kids loved their spaghetti. Sad they were out of cannoli. Do not hesitate to come here. A bit pricey but hey, it’s NYC.
What did you expect from a family operated restaurant who has provided to the Murray Hill community, both residents and business's nothing but consistent good food.
Greeted always by a family member.
Back in the day it was Pio, now Raymond and Gerry, are carrying on with the family tradition.
Staff as been there as long as I have been going there [since 1993].
Great meal, great service, everything about the experience was terrific. All 4 of us greatly enjoyed our meals. I had the carbonara and it was delicious. I would most definitely dine here again!
Enjoyed the donner , service was excellent , a fun place with live piano music very nice touch
We come from Australia. My American cousin recommended Rossini to me and it was fantastic. Will go again when next in New York. Thanks.
We went to celebrate my mom’s 80th birthday. The service was wonderful, the staff friendly and accommodating. They were very knowledgeable on the food - we had some severe allergy issues. We will definitely go again when in town.
Such a treat to get into the city to Rossini’s...Always a fabulous meal.
Very nice interior space and lively atmosphere. Food could be better. Prices are a bit high for what you get. A special salad the night we were there was $23. That is crazy. This is one of those places that depend on the expense account crowd during the week. The mixed drinks are not particularly well prepared. The bottom line is that it is OK, but no reason to draw you back for any special reason
Old time Italian with very good food
Excellent food and service. Would recommend to anyone
We have moved to Florida, but we went for nostalgic reasons since this was one of our favorite local neighborhood gems. The service was terrible. These guys are arrogant and some really think they own the place they’ve been there so long and forgotten who the customer is. Also, maybe it’s like this everywhere in New York but $18 for a drink is outrageous. We were in shock and definitely won’t be back. No value. Not pleasant.
Food was excellent! Would definitely go there again!
Great Italian food at goodbyes is. The service is impeccable would definitely recommend to anyone in the neighborhood or someone traveling from out of town
Always a pleasure. Rossini's never disappoints.
I have been coming here for business lunches for 13 years from 3 different office locations. The food is excellent, the team is great - treating you like family, and the ambiance is that of what you would expect in an old-world Italian restaurant. If I am going for great Italian and want my guests to be treated special, this is the place!
Excellent food, great service.
Very accommodating with our requests. Always a great experience and we love the piano music. We missed the singing but it will be back in the fall
This place is perfect for traditional Italian fare. Been coming here for decades! Never disapoints.
Rossini's has great food. We had the calamari which was really great. The red sauce was exceptional. Next we had the chicken parmigiana which was great. We all would go back again.
Not bad but not great Italian food. Only if u are in the neighborhood and don’t mind paying high prices. $40 shrimp entree, $18 glass of cab. 2 many really good Italian rest in nyc to ever come back
