Excellent as always , food is fantastic, Saturday nights they have a singer and piano player. Will go there every chance I get .
Lovely restaurant with wonderful entertainment albeit difficult to hear at certain times .
The food was great....the pasta special superb and service was impeccable
Love Rossini's!!
Lived around the block from this place for 20 plus years and never thought twice about going in. Ended up going in and was shocked! Great dining room, live music, amazing food, incredible service, plenty of parking on the block. To think how I spent so much time running around the city for 20 years trying to find a great Italian restaurant and there was one right up the block from me the whole time. It is truly a hidden gem!
Amazing! We absolutely loved this place for a business dinner...we will be back tomorrow.
I have been to this restaurant at least four times and I love it.
Old-fashioned, with an older neighborhood crowd. Outstanding service. The pasta dishes were truly excellent and also fairly abundant. The starter (mozzarella) was OK but really nothing special (you can get much more and better mozzarella in NYC). Dessert was meh. The wine list has some great wines, even though it's not extensive. Verdict is that we'd go back...just for pasta and wine, and skip the rest.
Fantastic food all the way through from start to finish, service was almost even better! Would recommend to all!
excellent dining experience food was very very good as was service wine list reasonable we enjoyed the piano we were close to it but could still talk
price quite reasonable by NY standards will definitely return
Third time in last 18 months (from Arizona), and will return on my next trip as well. The food the real star, and the ambiance - like going back in time a bit! Service was good, not overbearing - the Minestrone soup was wonderful, and the Carbonara exceptional. Looking forward to the next visit.
We were visiting NYC and it was our first time at Rossini’s. The food and service was of the best I ever experienced. Any one visiting NYC and looking for a good Italian restaurant look no further...this is the place. They been around 49 years so you know they are doing something right...
It is now our go to restaurant when in NYC...

Loved the place! The diners seem to be mostly centered on the white elderly demographics, but that doesn’t take away of the awesomeness of the food.
Excellent food and service.
Excellent food and service. Thoroughly enjoyed everything about the evening.
Old fashion service not rushed and relatively quiet...good for a business lunch
Muy buena cocina. Precios moderados.
La atencion sobresaliente
The service was terrible. The waiter came over at the end of the meal to ask why he was only tipped 15%. We will never return
The service was very friendly and attentive. The food was very good. I would definitely go back.
Look forward to dining there often.
Very nice "boutique" fine dining Italian option in Murray Hill. Excellent service, varied menu, and great preparation! If you are looking for a Mid-Town Italian dining option - Rossini's is perfect!!
Never disappoints !!! Service is fantastic, daily specials are seasonal and diverse. They know how to treat a customer !!
excellent
first time diners there but we will return
Birthday! Awesome!
the food was excellent, the service perfect, quiet so you could actually have a conversation. would definitely go back
Excellent Authentic Italian Food! The entertainment was perfect for our post theater dining experience!
Excellent all the way around, food, service, ambiance. Great specials
Nice. Old school
outstanding. pick the specials
Food is excellent. Southern Italian. Clams Casino is perfect. Veal dishes are Phenomenal.
Amazing food and service. Loved the live piano. One of the best dining experiences I have had in NY. Prices are great for the food and service!
Went here on a whim with my husband and two kids (ages 10 and 12) this past weekend. I can't say enough great things. It was the most fun dinner we've had in a while. We had a cozy spot in the corner of the dining room and were able to enjoy the 2 opera singers and the piano player all evening. The food and service were phenomenal, and the staff was very nice. The only thing I would change would be to add more chocolate desserts to the menu! Will definitely be back!
The best part about this restaurant is the pianist and opera singers. The wine list is very good, and the champagne cocktails were excellent.
The food, on the other hand, is so-so. We started with the artichoke special. They described this as a cleaned artichoke, stuffed with cheese, breadcrumbs, etc. What I got was a whole artichoke, uncleaned, in a sort of broth. The broth was tasty; however, it was nearly impossible to eat the artichoke. When it's served whole this way, the only way to eat it is to peel each leaf off, and drag the leaf between your teeth to extract the edible part (this was not a baby artichoke which can be eaten whole). Well, if this was expected, they should have provided a discard bowl for the inedible refuse, but no bowl was provided. We ended up cleaning out the choke with a knife and fork, splitting the heart and leaving everything else (90%). It was like doing surgery. Our waiter didn't ask if there was a problem or if we liked our food.
For our appetizer course, I had a caesar salad and my husband had the half portion of the pasta special (veal ragu with pappardelle). The caesar salad said it came with anchovies, but mine did not--I had to ask for them. They were provided, but then I discovered my salad was not dressed. I am not someone who like globs of dressing; however, the whole point of caesar salad IS the dressing. Otherwise it's just lettuce and croutons. My husband's veal ragu was not true ragu. Rather, it was chunks of veal, similar to stew, mixed with pasta. The pasta itself, which was homemade, was quite good. The flavor of the ragu was good, but the consistency was way off. You should taste a bit of meat in every bite when it's a true ragu.
For our entrees, I had the veal ragu as described above. My husband had scallops, which he said were good.
We expected the ambiance to be romantic but instead it was loud, obviously filled with tourists, most of whom were sadly underdressed (jeans, sneakers, sweatshirts).
Great staff - greeted at the door - attentive service without being overbearing. Food is classic and excellent.
Wonderful food, attentive service. We thoroughly enjoyed our anniversary dinner.
A great old-school NYC Italian restaurant! Excellent food and service in an elegant
setting that at one time was the hotel dining room and lounge of what was the Towne House apartment-hotel, now an elegant pre-war co-op building. Great place for business dinners and also for romantic interludes.
My Overall experience and first time at this space was amazing. The setting was pure family style Italian ambience. The waiters were very professional and genuine, I briefly spoke with the woman who even checked out coat which also was a Gem! Will defiantly come back, appreciate this night here on Valentines day with my Companion. Thank you Rossini.
I have been dining at Rossini’s for over 30 years and it is always an enjoyable dining experience. The food and service are excellent! I often recommend Rossini’s for both business and special occasions to others.
It was just ok...got the gnocchi for dinner which wasn’t memorable. Maybe I’m a bad judge because I was comparing it to multiple gnocchi dishes I recently had on a trip to Italy. We felt rushed by the wait staff (very un-Italian) until it was time for the check and then they seemed to forget about us. Overall, just an average experience, wouldn’t necessarily go back.
Quiet for a midtown Rest...the staff was not intrusive we were able to talk business without interruptions of the staff and no one pushed us to leave.
We first tried Rossini’s during Summer Restaurant Week in 2017. We loved it. We had theater tickets and decided to eat there again. Everything was wonderful. We are going to make it our family’s go to Italian restaurant in NY (we live in NJ).
