My husband and I have lived part-time in Provincetown for almost 20 years. We feel fortunate to have many wonderful restaurants to choose from when we’re in town, but Ross’ Grill is our favorite restaurant for so many reasons. The menu offers something for everyone, and the food is always delicious and consistent in terms of quality. The atmosphere is intimate, and for us it just feels like home. There is absolutely no pretense; it’s one of the few places in town where total strangers often nod and smile at each other just because it’s the polite thing to do. It’s a place where you almost always see a familiar face or run into good friends. But for us, the restaurant’s greatest asset is its staff. All of the servers are professional, yet warm and personable. Catherine and Dimitar are standouts. And then there’s Cesar, the former bartender who has owned the restaurant for a few years now. He is not only beautiful on the outside, he’s even more so on the inside. He clearly loves owning this Provincetown gem, and you can always count on finding him smiling and laughing with patrons, still from behind the bar.

Our favorite go to spot in Provincetown. Sit at the bar and watch the kitchen do their thing. Bartender Jessica is a true gem!

We love Ross' Grill, but when there for NYE and there was no heat...it was about 40 or so degrees in the restaurant...we had to where our coats. While I know it is hard to heat during the cold snap we had, but a call to restaurant goers to note the cold would have been appreciated. It was $100/pp to sit, and we spent well beyond that, we shouldn't have to do so with our coats on. If this was my first time at Ross' I might not go back. Lucky I've loved every other meal, but it will be a pass for expensive NYE dinner.

Food and service were excellent. However there was no heat in the restaurant and the waitress did not let us know. Most customers had hats and scarves on their entire meal.

The food and service were good. But the restaurant was so cold we rushed through dinner. It is winter and I don't think the heat was working or the heating system is insufficient. I actually told several friends to not go. We were disappointed to be so uncomfortable.

The two of us loved our meals and we both said it was the best meal we had in a long time. Cesar recommended the perfect wine pairing to make it even better. And yes, even the dessert was perfect.

This waterfront restaurant always meets expectations. My friend and I had Manhattans before dinner and they were enormous. That was followed by a classic Caesar salad made with fresh romaine lettuce, authentic dressing and croutons. Next was an appetizer of escargots en croute, a truly delicious treat. Our waitress, Katherine, was very friendly and attentive. For the best in service, ask for her by name. There were a number of good specials available but we could not eat any more. The place is so popular that reservations are a must.

It was "Spooky Bear weekend" in Ptown and it was a tiny bit uncomfortable being the only female in the room... that being said, the mushroom soup was outstanding, absolutely perfect, as was the wild boar ragu over pappardelle...DELICIOUS !

The kitchen would do well to serve smaller portions that were more inspired. I've been meaning to eat at Ross's Grill for some time and was disappointed with the food. Allthough my cod was fresh, it was nothing special--fried in a very mundane batter and not very pretty on the plate. The mashed potatoes were tasteless, and the spinach was overcooked. The mussels appetizer was served with tons of broth but, again, lacked flavor. Less is more! The wine list was great and our server was lovely. But really, the food was so very mediocre.

I have eaten here several times and it is always a mixed bag. On a previous occasion I had great fried calamari , but this time it was bland with a dipping sauce that was too spicy. I could barely eat my blackened scallops because they were so salty, but my dining companions loved their short ribs, salmon, and tuna dishes. They have a great selection of wines by the glass. So, I would recommend this place, but just keep in mind that the food can be uneven and the prices are a bit high.

Main entrees were delicious though pricey. Loved the crab corn chowder. Dessert was a disappointment. The crème brulee was not set and the key lime cheesecake was very heavy. The view was outstanding and made our evening in P'town very special.

Given the high price options in P-Town this is a good spot. They were ready for us, seated us promptly and the server was helpful and engaging. Not fancy but convenient and we run. Food options and presentation certainly beyond adequate.

Clearly, in limited space for cooking, producing exceptional cuisine is a challenge. The Serrano ham with asparagus was superb as was the creamy seafood risotto!

On our vacation, we went for dinner one night and had such a fantastic meal that we cancelled a reservation at another restaurant so we could return to Ross' Grill for a second dinner. The food and service were fantastic, and the view is wonderful, being right on the water. It's a must go!

We dined at the Ross grill this past Sunday and it was the second time that I had dined there in the last few years. The service is wonderful but the food was good but nothing special. We had Coconut Shrimp that was a bit over cooked, calamari which was really good and not over cooked. I had Ahi Tuna grilled that still had that Black Section in a corner which as a fisherman I know to take that off the tuna steak for it is very fishy. I would go back again but not unless I checked out some of the other restaurants in P-Town that got good ratings on Open Table.
