The host was wonderful. Held our table until our entire party arrived very politely. Nice man! Good food at a moderate price. Very good place for lunch or dinner.

Our entry to the restaurant could have been a bit more welcoming. The host had his back to us when we arrived and made us wait before he finally seated us (not too friendly I might add). I didn’t appreciate that. However, we had an Excellent waiter. He was very attentive and took care of all of our needs. Great service. Food was a bit pricey (NYC) but good.

my sis and my daughter. I said about this again and again even i wrote.
After the meal, she bring only one latte.then
we had to wait for long time.My daughters were sleepy and crying . Eventually she bring birthday dessert with candle but only for my sis..she forgot about my daughter....We were expecting to celeblate both on that night.
I cant forget about this.

From the first time I ate at this restaurant it was amazing. Since then every time me and my wife go see a Broadway show around the area we always go to this restaurant for dinner before the show. The food is amazing and the staff is extremely friendly. Always recommend this place to friends and family whenever they want to go to dinner before a Broadway show

Pre Broadway show. I ordered the lobster ravioli. Supposed to have lobster chunks on top. I found, off to the side, some chunks of lobster? When I stuck my fork into it to spear a piece, it flaked, just as a white fish would flake, and the taste was not of lobster. Should have been called fish ravioli. Very disappointing. (I've had lobster ravioli elsewhere. I do know what it should be). Overpriced for the quality. A shame, because I liked the ambience

Our party of 10 was seated on time for our 7pm reservation. The host was friendly and efficient. I had the Chicken Portofino, it was delicious! Our server was also fantastic. Our water glasses were always filled. The table was bused appropriately. And she kept checking to see if we needed anything. It was a little loud in the dining room but it was Saturday evening and it's quite a bustling place so I can't really complain about that. We will return. Thanks for another great experience Rosie's!

This restaurant is located in a great area when attending the theater. They offer a reasonably priced, 3-course prix-fix dinner at $39.95. I ordered the sirloin which had a good flavor, but the steak was chewy. The chocolate mousse was delicious.

We had a group of nine, family reunion, and had reserved in advance. We were well placed at the end of a room with comfortable seating. The waitress, Kathleen, was excellent. The food was very good and came at a reasonable time with all of us getting served at once. The cost was certainly reasonable.

Good service when we arrived (it was not busy then - pre-theater). They handled my grand kids' special needs and requests without a problem. As it got busier, the server became less attentive, particularly when we wanted to get our check and leave to be on time for the theater. The food was good, served timely and hot, however, my steak was very tough and gristly and cooked a little longer than I prefer. All in all, a nice place with great ambience if you are in the mood for an Irish Pub setting. I've been there before for business reasons and decided to take my family this time. Everyone enjoyed themselves.

Great food and nice ambience. Best to be seated as far from the bar area as possible if you want to talk comfortably. The bar area can be very noisy especially if a sports game is on tv. In the raised seating area where we sat there was no problem. Would definitely go back.

I reserved the table a week in advance of my our 31st Anniversary. The only thing I asked for was a "quiet table for two". When the Manager checked us in, he reiterated, "yep, here you are, for a quiet table for two". When he sat us, it was a middle table for two in a continuous row of tables along a wall...about the least intimate table in the house. The couples to the left and right were about 18" away....tight! So that kind of put a damper on things. That said, our food was wonderful, the service was timely and the value for $ spent was good. The ambiance is loud but warm; inviting. It's what you would expect a classic old NYC Chophouse to be.

The Seafood Shepard's Pie ad Ciopinno was amazing. They were had to hold out table an extra 15 minutes due to traffic and did it with a smile on their faces. The wait staff is great at watching the room to see which tables need to finish up to go to a show or if they are looking to linger. Truly an excellent experience.

Visited NY for St Patrick’s day from the UK, ate at some lovely restaurants while there for our 6 days. We decided to eat at Rosie O’Gradys for our last night . The food was beautiful, four of us had all different things to eat, with a combination from a set menu and the regular menu. We were shown specials etc. The service was fantastic from start to finish, the waiters were very friendly and made conversation with us, which was very nice rather than just serving you food. The food was fabulous, steak, salmon and lamb we had between us and we could not fault anything about this place. Thank you for our last Irish weekend meal in New York. Highly recommend

Our crew of 10 went for lunch before going to the St Patrick’s Day Parade. The food was awesome! Our group ordered the bangers and mash, Irish stew and corned beef. We cleaned out plates ! The servers were attentive and did not make us feel rushed. We will be back.

Food and service was good. The only disappointment was that they ran out of two of their dishes and one was the daily special. It was St Patrick’s weekend — they should have anticipated more guests by the holiday and its an Irish restaurant

The minute we walked in, the host warmly greeted us and found us the perfect table. We felt so welcome! Our server was friendly, though not perfectly attentive, but there were other wait persons available to help with water refills and such. The shrimp cocktail was beautifully presented and mixed green salad was very fresh. Mahi was also good, but don’t quite understand why a vegetable substitution was only available for an extra charge when the same was on the pre-fixe. Highly recommend this place. A real oasis, and fun to people watch on 7th Ave.

I visit New York City only once or twice a year, but always try to get to Rosie's. Staff are remarkably warm and welcoming (in true Irish fashion); they tap a lovely pint of Guinness; and, the food is excellent. Norwegian salmon is my favorite, and it is always done to perfection--moist, tender, and wonderfully flavorful with the house sauce. Can't wait until the next time!
