Little pricey but definitely worth it...food was very good, service was excellent & even though we were running late they honored our reservation 👍
Trip to NYC
Great spot for business or friend dinners. Wait staff is very service oriented
Food was very good from your typical Irish fare ie fish and chips to as good a pasta as you get in any upscale Italian restaurant
Very good value and the food is good.
Great food. Everything thing we got was so well seasoned
The food at Rosie's has gone downhill. I took my wife and two teenage daughters (19 & 16) out to dinner for Mother's Day after seeing an afternoon show. Everyone ordered something different and everyone said their meal was bad to fair at best. Our family is a foodie family,,, food ordered was fried calamari for an appetizer. Entrees were salad with sliced sirloin, beef tips special, chicken piccata, and a burger. All of it was tasteless,,, including the burger.
In the future I might grab a drink there for a business meeting but it will no longer be a destination for a meal.
Lovely traditional restaurant! Not a typical tourist trap or noisy mob place. This is very classy without the outrageous prices.
I had the shrimp risotto and it was delicious. Just the correct amount for an early lunch before the theater. The only complaint I have is why a second glass of ginger ale is not free? I feel we should have been told this when the second glass was requested. The waiter was very attentive and gave us plenty of time to enjoy our meal and still have time to get to the show on time. We will return the next time we are in New York City.
Great prix fixed lunch. We had the Kalahari, chicken saltimboca and Apple pie. Delicious and great deal!
Food was meh. Service was fair not worth going. I would not recommend. The prices are high and the food was bland. Mahi mahi was fishy. Crab cakes over breaded and cooked. Waiter was just okay
Great place to go in NYC! Great food! Service was good! Kinda noisy but overall a great experience!
The service was outstanding! The food was good, enjoyed it very much. Thank you!
They messed up 2 of the 3 orders. I requested my turkey club sandwich on two slices of bread and they made it on two. My friend asked for a dry omelette and it came almost raw. Will we go back again? I don’t think so!!
I was greeted by name at the door, and taken to a nice table overlooking the dining room. The staff checked regarding my allergies listed on the account, and stopped by several times to say hello. Food was to die for and the portions were more than generous. Highly recommended!
Ambiance and food were excellent, but our server was not very accommodating. One of our selections was not prepared properly, yet when pointed out, he didn’t apologize or offer any substitution or removal of the charge from our check. Kinda put a sour note on what was a nice evening.
First time in a long time eating at Rosie's. Food is still fresh ,hot with good portions. Service is friendly and courteous, Great place for the theater crowd
Have been to Rosie O'Grady's before. A little noisy, but the food is great!
Awesome food, quick service, great prices.
Great spot for a theatre district meal. Good variety for lunch or dinner venue.
Good food. Nothing bad to say. Great place for a casual dinner
Once seated waited quite a while for waiter to come to table. When he did he took our drink orders and immediately asked for our dinner selections. We were never told the specials and felt rushed.
Pushy service... ended up with a chargeable $6 bottle of water when we just wanted tap water.. 18.75 service charge pre assigned to the bill plus additional tip section.. food didn't make up for feeling like we were there just to be robbed
Rosie O'Grady's is located near the theater district and Rockefeller Center which makes it convenient for theater goers. The staff is friendly, the dining room is comfortable and the food is good. It's a good place to go for dinner before a show.
Great atmosphere, menu, food & service. Can't wait to come back.
We had a wonderful evening. Food and wine were delicious and staff was superb. Special kudos to our entertaining waitress, Siobahn, who kept us laughing all evening while performing her duties very professionally. Our racks of lamb were tender and the mashed potatoes were from heaven. I would go again and take friends!
Get together with friends worked out very nicely
Good food and service. I work across the street so it’s very convenient for lunch and dinner.
Repas de Pâques à 8h- excellent service très bonne nourriture on était ravis cadre très cosy
Service poor. Waiter left empty plates and glasses on table. When we first sat down he came right over to take our order. We hadn’t even looked at the menu
Our food was great. The lobster ravioli was delish. The waiter was excellent, it didn't hurt that he called me "my lady".
Our party of 3 was greeted at the door right away and seated promptly. Table settings were very clean and the atmosphere was very calming. The waiter was very pleasant and went over the specials with us along with any questions about the menu. Food was great and came out in good time. Only reason not a 5 is my daughters steak dinner came out with no vegetables only mashed potatoes.
Group of 5 staying across the street at the Sheraton! From start to finish this was the most disappointing dining experience we’ve had.
1. The food was BLAH. We got two steaks, a french onion soup, calamari, shrimp cocktail and none of it tasted good. To factor in the cost of these meals only adds to how underwhelming it was. We asked for one steak to be medium rare and it was medium....sent it back and it came back the same. The cheesecakes came with no strawberries— just plain and dry!
2. The service from management down was rude. The manager when we walked in seemed annoyed. We sat down and the server didn’t preface the menu or try to make small talk. We then had a friend join and the manager made a scene because we added an extra seat to the table. If we want to squish thats not asking anything of you. “You made the reservation for 5 not 6, and now we have to add a chair” is not an appropriate way to chastise guests coming into your restaurant.
3. Eat elsewhere! Its not worth it...AT ALL!
We both ordered different chicken dishes and the chicken was very dry. We are saddened that the food quality has gone down since we started going there.
Excellent service. Food was well presented and delicious.
Always an enjoyable experience, varied menu and great taste and service ...
Steak was over cooked and creamed spinach was below average. Asked for two martinis straight up and they had vermouth
If u want a quiet table you can be far from loud bar area. Prices are high here. Especially things like salad.
Food was good. Location great for near by theater
Overpriced mediocre good with grumpy waiter
Celebrated my Birthday here! Had a great time, food was fantastic, they were very friendly and I even got a piece of cheesecake with a candle. Definitely recommend making a reservation a head of time.
