Excellent food, only gave 4 stars for value as they put the price up 50% for thanksgiving 😋
the food was homey and delicious
. a great place to spend thanksgiving away from home. service was a little slow, but they were gracious about how long thinks were taking. overall a good experience!
Loved it! We had reservations for lunch after the parade. I will definitely recommend to friends and family when visiting New York City. Everything was perfect. I do recommend reservations. They were very busy.
Wonderful food and atmosphere, and the staff was very friendly. We had a great table near the window. Can’t wait for go back!
server took half an hour to even take our order. food was good but took over an hour to get. the center of my steak was still ice cold and was not cooked to how i ordered it. they ask if you’re seeing a show after the meal and claim they’ll get you out in “plenty of time” but then leave you with 10 minutes to run to your theater.
Service was minimal.
The food, the atmosphere, the speed is service was all great. Our waiter could have been a little more personable as he was quite stoic but for all I know he could have worked all day and was tired. I would definitely go back if I’m in the area again and/or recommend it to friends.
We were running late for our reservation, so we called the restaurant and they couldn’t have been nicer to us. They held our table and were very professional and friendly. Service and ambiance was great!
Great dinner, food was excellent.
From the moment we walked in , we felt welcomed . The host greeted us with a warm welcome and showed us to our table. Our waiter Andrew was attentive. The food was delicious. We ate off the lunch menu. 2 of us had the salmon Cesar salad. The salmon was cooked perfectly . I can’t remember what the other 2 had but I do remember they enjoyed their meal.
We enjoyed the food. The service was wonderful and it is always nice when the matradee remembers your name in a restaurant full of patrons. We will return.
Server was incredibly cold without any customer service. He seemed put upon to be serving us (or who knows, maybe anyone) and rushed us out the door.
Night out on Broadway.
While we were very happy with our entrees the appetizers left a lot to be desired. My wife had the soup which was very good, it was only just warm not hot. My fried calamari was white not browned and put on a plate with a container of sauce, not much effort to make it appetizing. I couldn’t help thinking it was frozen and thrown in a fryer and dumped onto my plate. This might actually be the case in most instances but if it’s brown and hot and tasty then those thoughts don’t come to mind.
Ate here before going to the theatre - ambiance is lovely and food was great! We had an outstanding waiter and were seated at a wonderful table by the window.
The shrimp and scallops part was amazing. But the risotto said it had peppers and no mention of onions. If I had known it had big pieces of onion I would have asked for that to be left out along with the peppers.
Great steak and fine
Cocktails. Large birthday group near us for the first 30 minutes a little
Loud but when they left it was very good. Would certainly go back again.
The restaurant is immaculate. Staff well trained and excellent. Pretty place and we ordered steaks salads and wings all very good especially the steak. I appreciate the cleanliness in Manhattan
As always - service was wonderful and food was delicious and perfect! Always our fave place to dine in the city!
Good food, great service but noise level was too much. Otherwise, I would go again.
Service was curt and impatient.
Bread offered late as an afterthought.
A prime fillet mignon for $54 was tasteless and served almost room temp and my wife’s sirloin was hard to negotiate and extremely chewy.
I didn’t want to raise hell for some odd reason but conveyed my feelings to the waitress twice who offered a free glass of wine. Tourist trap.
Nice to be able to have a very nice meal with good service.
It was fine but a bit overpriced for the quality. It’s probably a better destination for drinks than dinner.
the fish and chips are outstanding, the salmon caesar also. Don't miss the creme broulet
Overpriced for the small portions. I ordered the risotto. It was very bland. My companion had the linguine. Wasn’t impressed. I wanted it to be a special night but it fell short.
Jose provided excellent service. Our meals, chicken picatta and day boat scallops, were very good though not spectacular. The beet salad was more salad than beets with an unremarkable dressing that didn't do much for it. The house-made cheesecake, on the other hand, was wonderful and authentic NY style. Ample seating and a comfortable, dimly lit atmosphere make this a great pre-show, business or intimate dining choice.
Great food and ambiance , friendly and goodservice
We had Shepherds Pie and Crab cakes. It was wonderful.
The decor is beautiful. Our waitress, Maya, was attentive and funny. The food was delicious! We can’t wait to go back!
Patrick our bartender was great! Love the old time steak house feel. Steak was good - asparagus awesome!
My girlfriend and I had an absolutely wonderful time! Food was amazing and service was spectacular! Will definitely be coming back!
Great place for dinner! We saw Waitress and this was close to the theater and our hotel. Our waiter, Tony, was friendly and our meals came out of the kitchen hot! Attentive service from the minute we came in until we left!
Terrific service from The moment we entered the restaurant. The calamari was delicious, as was the fish and chips (ale-battered Atlantic cod and fries). A great place to go for a pre-theater menu!
Great location, food was awesome, prices were good. even for NYC.
Poor service & burgers were dry.
Went to a show at Radio City, and we needed a table for 6 for dinner to cater to many tastes and get us out efficiently. This place fit the bill on all accounts. Fish and chips and steak sandwich were ok but Shepherds Pie was hands down the winner of the night.
The food was subservient, the service attentive but not intrusive and the COVID protocols were followed precisely. It was all we hoped for.
This restaurant was super convenient to our hotel and for a pre-show dinner near The Gershwin. I enjoyed the shrimp and scallops risotto and my wife loved the scallops. Our server was very attentive and polite. The ambience is wonderful and the prices are very reasonable for the location.
Rosie O'Grady's is a classic, upscale Irish Pub. It is just lovely for an intimate lunch for couples, a business meeting or a fun evening out with family and friends. The food is consistent and delicious. Our server did not know much about their wine list, however - so you might be better off ordering a Guiness or a whiskey. Had a lovely lunch with my husband yesterday!
Great food! Great service, even got my note in the comments of our reservation that we were there for a birthday and did a cake for us! Thank you!!
