Chef’s soup was very tasty, and fish and chips for my little one was amazing too, not too salty, not spicy at all. My husband also like what he ordered. Sorry no photo, we was very hungry.)))
First time here and it was a great experience. We sat outside and the weather was perfect. Our server was attentive and the food was great! Can’t wait to come back!
Went to see a movie with friends, booked a reservation at 8:45 after the show. Seated outside which we thought were good seats. At about 9:30 a bunch of security guards showed up and started to rope off a line area next to where we sitting. Next thing you know, people show up standing next to us smoking.. not much help from the “security”. Then the place turned into a nightclub, wasn’t expecting that, we cut it short and left. Don’t go on a Saturday night after 8 if you want a nice peaceful dinner
Rosie's is fantastic and the staff at Santana Row is wonderful!!
Server went above and beyond. We arrived twenty minutes before kitchen closing and they accommodated us well. Even a special need with a smile.
Brunch is great - especially outside on the patio. My go-to is the steak breakfast burrito. Food comes fast. Baby friendly during the day.
We were in town for 1 night and Santana row was recommended to us by our daughter who lives in Modesto. We picked this restaurant because it had such a varied menu. Both my husband and I enjoyed our food and wine
Brunch was absolutely delicious. The outside seating area is really nice. You’ve gotta get the Bloody Mary!
The staff was friendly and the food was good. The price of the Greek salad was a little high for something without meat. We had an early lunch, so there were no problems with noise.
We were surprised how delicious the food was, The shepherd's pie is a must
Always a fun place to eat
Service by waitress was very poor.
This was my second experience at Rosie McCann’s. The first was excellent, but this one was marred by subpar service and ordered food missing from our plates. I guess we shouldn’t have tried to come for a Father’s Day brunch during a World Cup. Apparently my daughter and I were a secondary consideration to the soccer game.
Great restaurant. We arrived 30 minutes prior to reserved time and were seated immediately. Our server, Megan, was friendly and knowledgeable and made excellent recommendations. We aren't local so probably won't be back for awhile but will definitely come again the next time we are in San Jose.
It was a full house so we expected slow food. Food options were nice. Our cocktails were tasty.
On Mother’s Day, my daughters and I went for brunch. The foods was great except the waitress was not friendly.
Went here for mother's day brunch. Service was absolutely fantastic. From the hostess at the door to our server and all of the bussers and runners. Everyone did a great job to make sure we were never in need of anything. Food was great. Drinks were always full. And the brought a rose out for my wife with the check which was a super sweet gesture for all the moms there. Will definitely be back!
Great food, ambiance & service by Daniel. We’ll definitely be returning.
A pleasant surprise. Full menu including everything Irish plus Italian, Indian, American and more. Best dressed (balsamic) simple side salad I’ve had in a long time.
We were seven for lunch and asked for a round table and they were very accommodating . The person seating us directed us to the back room and told us it would be quieter than in front of the bar. The only complaint we had was the very loud music . The waiters were great and very attentive and the food was good.
It is hard to have a conversation when the music is so loud.
The food was good. Our server was great. My only complaint is that I was charged $4 for substituting fruit for meat on my Pancake and Eggs order. There should have been a veggie option without the charge but other than that no complaints.
The service was very good. Food was decent. Vegetables were really good. Scallop Potatoes were decent. Steak was average.
We were disappointed with a few things. First, when we reserved our table we mentioned it was for an anniversary dinner. Not once did any one wish us a happy anniversary. Second we request a nice table. We got stuck in the back dining rooms at table in the center of the room. Not even a booth. Service sucked. Our server had no personality at all and seemed like he didn’t want to be there. We even tried to engage him, but had no luck. He never came back to ask how we were, and when it came time for dessert he seemed bothered that he even had to ask. Needless to say we didn’t get dessert. The whole vibe amongst all working there was bland as best. The over all atmosphere was not that of an Irish Pub but as a pretentious restaurant. For the $100 we spent our experience lasted less than 45 min. Our dinner showed up before we finished our appetizer and the server tried to take that when he dropped our dinner plates. Was very disappointed.
The Shepard's Pie was delicious! Pleasing taste & meal!
Our corn beef was Tough and over cooked and the cabbage was undercooked . We were very disappointed with our meal.
Our server, La Kayla, was absolutely outstanding in every way: Polite, enthusiastic, helpful, well informed, and very patient in explaining menu options.
We had a reservation, we were sat promptly. That’s about the best I can say ., not a person approached us for ten minutes. A guest at another table looked over and said “good luck, we have been waiting a half an hour for our food” . I wasn’t worried, it was a busy day , however the food wasn’t very good , my eggs, hash brown both cold. I’ll give it another chance .
I enjoyed the comfort of the restaurant. Problem: I selected it because your website said it was worth 1000 points. I only got 109. How come?
Always a good meal. Loved the bacon wrap prawns
I usually like Irish Pubs and have been to quite a few recently. This one, in particular, did not meet our expectations. First of all, the food was not good! The steak we ordered was too salty and some parts were overcooked. The Fish and Chips did not taste good and seemed as if they don't use quality fish for it (or it was originally frozen).
The salad's dressing was also focused too much on the top. As if they didn't have time.
The service was also not good. The waitress was okay but the food took them more than 30 minutes to cook.
Compared to the quality of their food, I think they're still overpriced.
The food was delicious! I had the Lobster tacos on the specials menu and they were so yummy. The bread pudding was delicious as well. Good place, good food.
WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT!!!!!! AFTER STRUGGLING TO FIND PARKING AND LOOKING FORWARD TO AN ENJOYABLE EARLY DINNER. WE ARRIVED AT ROSIE McCann's ONLY SEE A BARRIER WHICH STATED THE RESTAURANT WAS UNAVAILABLE DUE TO A "PRIVATE EVENT" BUMMMER!!!!!!!!
Great burger and fries here. Pairs well with a pint of Harp. It's a warm a home-like environment.
Met a buddy for lunch and sat outside. Food was decent and service was decent as well.
I think it would be a great place for Happy Hour..
Checked in 5 minutes early and was given choice of two tables. One by Kitchen with a slight draft that was quieter or one by Gigantic TV. Took table by kitchen and got a very friendly waitress. Ordered a Stella and Drake Hefewiezen, which arrived right away!! Appetizer of grilled chicken took a little longer, but filled us until Entrees came. Cod Fish and Chips was WONDERFUL, espcially when they substituted house green salad for Cole Slaw. Lamb stew was delightful and not overly gamey. Mashed potatoes with stew were PERFECT. Entrees were so filling, that husband and I did not have room for desert. We plan to go again, when football is over when the local neighborhood does not take over restaurant to watch NFL Playoffs
Good place to go for a night of “dinner and dancing” all in one spot. Good food. Good drinks. Decent dance music.
NOT a quiet place tho, and they clear the floor dining area by 9pm-ish and the rest by 930pm for VIP bottle service and dancing -restaurant turn nightclub.
The food seemed to be all frozen and re-heated, there were a few very unruly people in the bar area allowed to play a game very loudly, in an almost empty restaurant service was slow.
No service whatsoever. Zero acknowledgement. Extremely high noise level with blaring music. This is not an establishment fit for dining as much as it is for drinking. The bar and dance floor dominate the space.
Our meal was very good. We all had Ruben sandwiches. Our daughter was able to get a gluten free sandwich which she was very pleased about.
We had a wonderful time at the restaurant. We got there early for lunch and had a baby with us and the wait staff was very friendly and accommodating. My sandwich was very good and the fish my friend ordered looked great. We will visit there again.
