Love the fixe price menu. Excellent salad with pears, walnuts and blue cheese. Very good meatloaf with choice of two sides. Good dessert. Good value for $30.
I booked a reservation for my birthday and requested both a booth and a specific server (Tanya). Both were accommodated upon arrival. As a regular, I can attest the food is excellent and the kitchen continues to thrive under Chef Ian. We ordered our usual vodka pasta and bacon-wrapped meatloaf which never disappoint. The Chef himself even took the time to greet us, which was a pleasant surprise that made the evening memorable. Our dinner was topped off with a complimentary warm California butter cake that was absolutely decadent.
Thank you to the entire Rosewood team (especially Tanya and Chef Ian) for making my birthday a special one!
I was really looking forward to a steak. I looked at pictures on your website. Even saw pictures of burgers. Neither of these items were on your menu.
Maya is an oustanding server. Rosewood needs to do something in order to subdue the noise inside the restaurant. We ate outside in order to have a quiet dinner. If you try to eat inside it is very difficult to have a conversation. Brook is also a great asset to Rosewood.
Rosewood is one of our very favorite places. The food is delicious and the staff extremely friendly. We are always greeted from the front door to the chef to the server. It is more than a meal.
Enjoyed a very good dinner with two old friends. Great place to chat while dining on great food. Nice intimate atmosphere.
Definitely a place to eat in Lodi. Wait staff a little to 'enthusiastic' or perky for our taste. Food good, medium size portions which was actually just fine for us but not big enough to share. Busy night and the noise level was kind of off the charts. Would go back, would recommend.

Over 17 minutes to get anything besides water. Then took about 20 minutes to get wine glasses and the wine we brought opened. My mother’s 80th birthday (we told when booking Resv) and nothing special done to celebrate until I asked which they were gracious to provide but hesitated because she said she was full.
We had much better service 3 nights before.
Foods awesome but not a great place if you want your own hearty dish. Ala carte here and can get expensive
We were surprised by the bill. We just had soup and an entree and the sides were extra. We had no drinks, no salad, and no dessert and our bill for the two of us was $96 plus tip. Pretty pricey. The food was excellent I must say.
Had the Mishima Reserve Wagyu Bavette however, they charge $27, as is displayed online. Assuming they have updated the online pricing but not their menus at the restaurant.
Reason for the lower score on service has nothing to do with the server, she was excellent. Reason is for the unacknowledged special request entered with the reservation. The reservation was for my wife's birthday and the special request was for a dessert with a candle. Assuming they either did not pay attention to the requestor or fulfill such requests.
Portions were small and expensive. Everything was a la carte, so nothing came with your salmon or steak.
Waitress not attentive at all. It wasn't busy but some of our food came up earlier then the rest and sat under heat lamps for an excessive amount of time. Ordered a 12oz rib eye and half of it was fat. Where is your meat from? For the prices you charge your quality does not match at all. I have been there several times but will not return after this visit.

Service was hit and miss. Menu is pretty limited. Appears they want to be a 'steak house' but the medium rare steak ordered at our table came out luke warm. Menu was a la carte so the steak came on an oval plate...just sitting there. No presentation whatsoever. Very underwhelming. Side dishes we ok - the grilled mushrooms seemed more sauteed or baked - covered in olive oil. Where did all the mushroom juice go?!? For the price it's just ok.
Lovely outdoor dining on a beautiful September evening. Food was fabulous, manager came around to ensure that all was well, server was pleasant.
Excellent food. We had ordered the New York steak which was prepared and cooked perfectly. Best steak I have had! And the service is the best around. Always like eating here.
Too loud. Place was packed, testimony to the great food and service, but the hardwood ceiling and tile floor made conversation in an echo chamber difficult. Add some soft surfaces to dampen the noise please. 😬

We haven't eaten at Rosewood for a couple of years, just more of a time thing. For our anniversary we decided to go again, really because their online menu appealed to us more than any other restaurant. Our meal was fantastic. We started with small shared dishes - the corn bisque and the prosciutto wrapped peaches, wow, fantastic. For entrees we had the chicken and the wagyu bavette. I think my steak was better than the chicken because of the sauce and the meat was so flavorful and tender. The chicken was good but could have used some sort of sauce or au jus, just a personal preference. We finished with a treat from our server, very nice of her, a butter cake I believe with vanilla gelato on top, again so delicious. Our server was great, attentive but not too attentive, and had a fun personality. We will definitely go back, this time sooner, as it's one of the best meals we've had out in a long time.
Dined with NorCal friends and had an excellent dining experience. Everything from the ambiance to the service from Denise to the delicious food (I had the Mishima Reserve Wagyu Bavette steak cooked perfectly to a medium rare) was top drawer and spot on. Would highly recommend for a wonderful dining experience!

The menu was very limited. Food was good but overpriced. Service was very good but what I would expect at a nicer establishment.

We were really looking forward to a nice dinner here a day of wine tasting. The atmosphere was pleasant, as was our waitress. Our shared appetizer (peaches with prosciutto) and salad were delicious. But then, we wondered where our entrees were, as the salad was removed more than 40 minutes earlier. Turns out our dinners were delivered to a group of recent arrivals, as they had ordered the same entrees. We waited some more. When we finally got our food, it was delicious. At that point, the manager should have comped us for a dessert, but no offer was made. The food was good enough to make us want to return, but we will never want to wait like that again.
The food was terrible, waitress took our drink order, and we saw our wine sitting at the bar for over 20mins and no one brought it over, we got our meal before our drinks.
The service was top-notch! The martinis and hummus appetizer delicious, the clam and corn chowder wonderful. My entree, the vodka sauce pasta, was average at best. Really was looking forward to their sea scallops which weren’t on the menu this time. They were a keeper! I hope they bring them back.

The chef is top notch. We’ve eaten at Michelin star restaurants all over the world... and he matches them with inventiveness, panache, and flawless execution. Lodi would be lucky to keep him for some time.

Love coming to Rosewood and everything is always delicious, including the bread. Saturday night was the last day for the hostess, who is joining the Marines. We actually asked for the manager to compliment her on her professionalism and were told that this was her last day at work. Sure wish I could remember her name but we can't wait to go back.

We dined on a Sunday night at 6:45, the restaurant was not super busy so it was very quiet. We have been here when it's been packed too though and it still isn't too loud to have a nice conversation. Our wait staff were very attentive. I am gluten and dairy intolerant, they have several delicious menu choices that accommodated both those needs, which frankly is not easy. They brought us regular and gluten free bread before our meal. Their ingredients are very high quality and taste fresh from the farm. We will definitely return.
