Food was bland and uninteresting. Nothing special at all and I'm surprised this place has survived. Found a hair in my salad but they apologized and gave us free desert. Won't come back, don't recommend it

We were in DC for vacation and I was trolling OpenTable and saw Rosemary's Table. One of the better priced sit downs in DC that's available on OT for sure. The wine list was short but the Chardonnay was delicious and my husband enjoyed the Great Lakes beer. The food was delicious, we started with hummus which was fabulous and also really enjoyed the complimentary bread and oil dip. I got the lamb kebab with rice and veggies which was so delicious. My husband got the adnam (sp?) kebab and it was also so delicious (I snuck a bite or two). Both meats were tender and full of flavor. The caciki sauce was definitely homemade and tasted fresh. Overall it was a great time, definitely recommend sitting outside and enjoying the beautiful dc nights!

Came for Saturday brunch. Had the pide, which is essentially a Turkish pizza, with spiced ground beef and two over easy eggs on top. It was delicious and enough for two people. Had a side of strawberries, which seemed pricey for basically 4 or 5 sliced berries. The restaurant has a casual neighborhood feel, and was not crowded at all.

One of my favorite date spots in DC while living no there several years ago. When visiting I always make sure to return to the spot with my hubby. Ambiance and food are great!!

We had a very nice time. The stuffed mushrooms are a delicious appetizer. I had the spinach ravioli with tomato sauce. It too was a hit. Our waiter, Borga was friendly and attentive. The happy hour beer and wine selection from 4-7pm is not bad. I would definitely come back again.

Food and service were both very good, and value, too. The parking was quite a distance away, about 5 blocks, and the lot closed before I returned, creating quite an inconvenience.

Granted it was a busy night, but our waiter was definitely not at the top of his game. We waited a long time to order and a very long time for the food to come. He didn't tell us that they were out of the item that one of our party had ordered until he brought the other people's dinners. By that time, we'd waited so long that the person didn't want to order anything else because she didn't think her dinner would come until everyone else was done eating. Then when we got the check, they had charged us for the item that wasn't available. The food is okay, but the chef is very heavy-handed with the herbs. I get it, it's Rosemary's Thyme, so herbs are their metier, but a sense of proportion and balance would have been very much appreciated.

Excellent food, casual neighborhood setting. We went at 4:00 and skipped the Happy Jour menu because the dinner choices sounded so fabulous. No one was disappointed.

Eclectic, wide-ranging menu with a Mediterranean twist. Bottles of wine are half price during happy hour, 4-7 pm. Service was a bit spotty.

Delicious, authentic Mediterranean fare. Greek and Middle Eastern influences. We shared several meze and entrees. The seared tuna, lamb kabobs, calamari and bronzini were stand-outs! We arrived during Happy Hour (before 7pm) and received 50% off our bottles of wine. Service was attentive. We enjoyed a relaxed dinner sharing many plates. Lots of vegetarian options too. A wonderful restaurant for small groups or family get-togethers.

I went on an unseasonably warm Friday night in February- so the outside was open and it was great! Unfortunately, I think it may be why service was a bit slow.

Despite it being slow, Miguel was an excellent waiter. Helped with recommendations, and just all around great guy. Food was excellent, margaritas were...um... potent.

I'll definitely make a return trip on my next trip to DC.

It's gone downhill since we first started going there. The dishes got smaller and we had to wait 45 minutes for our salad, which is served before the entree. They also said they had no cheese today, not sure how that's possible...

The ambience was especially lovely for us, not only because the place is so attractive and the food delicious, but because when I asked for a quiet space, the large back room which is often used for private parties was opened for us even though there were only three of us. It was so quiet, and we could talk easily. The restaurant had to turn the heat on in the room for us, so they really went out of their way to make us comfortable. They were 1005 accommodating.
We'll be back!

Cozy, friendly, low key. Service, ambience, value get five stars, food four--Turkish cuisine works perfectly in a bistro setting. My one complaint is that salads tend to be overdressed, ingredients in certain dishes don't always marry. Still a wonderful place to spend an hour or so with your significant other.

Straightforward Mediterranean Turkish restaurant. The menu is classic Turkish-that is, very unusual for folks from the Midwest. The dishes were great, the happy hour wine special is unbeatable, and we have been there at least once a year for four years. For me it is worth the trip. By the way: If you order one main dish and one salad or appetizer for 6 people, you will have ordered far too much food.

A very solid dinner. Have been coming here for years, usually able to snag a table, even on a busy weekend night. Good service and pretty standard but good mediterranean food. Cheap cocktails are a plus, as well.

I ordered an omelette and coffee. The omelette was just okay, but the breakfast potatoes and fresh fruit that came with it were quite good. Coffee was pretty good as well. Nice cozy atmosphere, and I went at a time it wasn't busy, so it was quiet enough to have a conversation.

This was our first visit since my niece had her rehearsal dinner at Rosemary's Thyme. We were visiting from Colorado and remembered how great the food was. Our 2nd visit didn't disappoint. I would recommend the lamb, it was delicious. Good service without hovering. Enjoyable evening.

Neighborhood gem is the best way to describe Rosemary's Thyme:
- Great food mediterranean fare
- Excellent, attentive and friendly service (probably the best I've received in awhile)
- Cozy atmosphere and peaceful outdoor patio
- Tremendous value for the price

Lots of new, delicious restaurants popping up in DC, but most are in the $$$ dollar range and a more trendy atmosphere. If you want a great value that still delivers solid dishes in a more cozy atmosphere, don't miss Rosemary's Thyme.

My girlfriend (who loves this place and was her go-to when she lived in Dupont) and I went and split a sucuk and cheese pide and whole branzino. Pide was cheesy, rich and delicious. Branzino was almost cooked to perfection (only one side was slightly dry), but light and came with a delicious olive oil for added flavor. The friendly waiter was quick to ask us in what order we wanted the food, which came out quickly and immediately after each course, and our water glasses were never less than half full.

Really good food selection at reasonable price for the neighborhood. We sat outdoors on the patio. Toward the end of our meal, two rats were scurrying around the patio and guests pulled their feet up into their seats. The wait staff didn't seem too concerned except for one individual who kept trying to scare the animals away. I know rats are common in the city, but I've sat on many patios in DC, and never had this issue. I think the patio at Rosemary Thyme needs more lighting, which would help deter rats from entering the patio.
