The food was sub par
The ingredients were not fresh!
My wife and I shared the calamari appetizer which was a perfect starter. Rosemary's prepares the calamari in a tomato based sauce and cooked with spinach and garlic. It’s both a delicious dish and a welcome change from the deep fried version served at many a restaurant. The branzino main course consisted of two large pieces of branzino, light broiled and served with kale. The branzino was cooked just enough to leave it moist and mouthwatering. I enjoyed my margarita pizza, a regular favorite for me. In addition, the price of an entrée is reasonable compared to some of the more expensive choices that offer food of a similar high quality.
We have been going to Rosemary's Thyme for a number of years. Reliable and consistently good Turkish soul food. Was delighted to see that they are listed on Open Table. Day of the wind storm was not a time to be outside, but window tables are quite nice. Borek, Manty, Shish and Bronzini reliably first rate.
Half-price wine bottles during happy hour are a nice incentive.
We took advantage of the outdoor seating on an unseasonably warm evening in February. Food was good - service was great. We took up the table for a long time - without drinking - and they were still nice!
The restaurant used to be solid and a good value. Quality has gone down. Service subpar.
Always has been our favorite neighborhood place—great food, great service, great people!
Valentine's Day without the up-sell and pretense; just flavor-forward foods with healthful portions in a setting where you don't have to shout to have a conversation; knowledgeable, attentive servers and no pressure to turn over the table. A mezze menu and full-plates, reasonable wine selection.
Great place for a date. Nice atmosphere and great service! Lots of vegetarian options.
We thoroughly enjoyed the setting, the low noise level, despite a busy Friday evening and the delicious food, mostly of Turkish cuisine. We will go here again on our next trip to DC
A favorite when I lived near Dupont Circle, I had not been in a number of years. The place is still great, with an interesting menu, very good food and service.
Our dinner at Rosemary’s Thyme Bistro was pleasant. The wait staff were polite and helpful. The meal was good and I would go back.
I always enjoy Rosemary's Thyme! Health, interesting menu and a lovely staff who always try to accommodate our requests. It's a pleasure to support a neighborhood bistro!
Food was bland and uninteresting. Nothing special at all and I'm surprised this place has survived. Found a hair in my salad but they apologized and gave us free desert. Won't come back, don't recommend it
We were in DC for vacation and I was trolling OpenTable and saw Rosemary's Table. One of the better priced sit downs in DC that's available on OT for sure. The wine list was short but the Chardonnay was delicious and my husband enjoyed the Great Lakes beer. The food was delicious, we started with hummus which was fabulous and also really enjoyed the complimentary bread and oil dip. I got the lamb kebab with rice and veggies which was so delicious. My husband got the adnam (sp?) kebab and it was also so delicious (I snuck a bite or two). Both meats were tender and full of flavor. The caciki sauce was definitely homemade and tasted fresh. Overall it was a great time, definitely recommend sitting outside and enjoying the beautiful dc nights!
Came for Saturday brunch. Had the pide, which is essentially a Turkish pizza, with spiced ground beef and two over easy eggs on top. It was delicious and enough for two people. Had a side of strawberries, which seemed pricey for basically 4 or 5 sliced berries. The restaurant has a casual neighborhood feel, and was not crowded at all.
One of my favorite date spots in DC while living no there several years ago. When visiting I always make sure to return to the spot with my hubby. Ambiance and food are great!!
We had a very nice time. The stuffed mushrooms are a delicious appetizer. I had the spinach ravioli with tomato sauce. It too was a hit. Our waiter, Borga was friendly and attentive. The happy hour beer and wine selection from 4-7pm is not bad. I would definitely come back again.
We had a nice dinner with friends in this neighborhood gem. The food was very good and the staff was very friendly. Neat spot.
Food and service were both very good, and value, too. The parking was quite a distance away, about 5 blocks, and the lot closed before I returned, creating quite an inconvenience.
Great for brunch. The eggs Benedict were outstanding.
Granted it was a busy night, but our waiter was definitely not at the top of his game. We waited a long time to order and a very long time for the food to come. He didn't tell us that they were out of the item that one of our party had ordered until he brought the other people's dinners. By that time, we'd waited so long that the person didn't want to order anything else because she didn't think her dinner would come until everyone else was done eating. Then when we got the check, they had charged us for the item that wasn't available. The food is okay, but the chef is very heavy-handed with the herbs. I get it, it's Rosemary's Thyme, so herbs are their metier, but a sense of proportion and balance would have been very much appreciated.
Excellent food, casual neighborhood setting. We went at 4:00 and skipped the Happy Jour menu because the dinner choices sounded so fabulous. No one was disappointed.
Perfect casual brunch. Enjoyed meal and staff great
Food was great and the staff was sincere and helpful with their recommendations. I could eat the burrata dish every night. Good neighborhood environment. We'll definitely be back!
Great brunch for my wife's birthday. Pides, great coffee, and excellent jams. Love the convenient location, great corner location with lots of natural light and outdoor seating. One of our neighborhood favorites.
Not polished enough for business dinner, would be okay for casual meeting of friends. Small plates were great, but desserts were terrible.
We had a GLO (Girls' lunch out). Wonderful!!! It was relaxed and thoroughly enjoyable. We will definitely be back.
Eclectic, wide-ranging menu with a Mediterranean twist. Bottles of wine are half price during happy hour, 4-7 pm. Service was a bit spotty.
Very nice service and amazing location with lots of opportunity to people watch and the food was good
Good food right down the street from where we were staying. Make sure you sit outside and enjoy the patio.
Delicious, authentic Mediterranean fare. Greek and Middle Eastern influences. We shared several meze and entrees. The seared tuna, lamb kabobs, calamari and bronzini were stand-outs! We arrived during Happy Hour (before 7pm) and received 50% off our bottles of wine. Service was attentive. We enjoyed a relaxed dinner sharing many plates. Lots of vegetarian options too. A wonderful restaurant for small groups or family get-togethers.
I went on an unseasonably warm Friday night in February- so the outside was open and it was great! Unfortunately, I think it may be why service was a bit slow.
Despite it being slow, Miguel was an excellent waiter. Helped with recommendations, and just all around great guy. Food was excellent, margaritas were...um... potent.
I'll definitely make a return trip on my next trip to DC.
It's gone downhill since we first started going there. The dishes got smaller and we had to wait 45 minutes for our salad, which is served before the entree. They also said they had no cheese today, not sure how that's possible...
Always love dining at Rosemary's!
The Mediterranean Pide was excellent. It was my first and won't be my last. I was skeptical about the eggs on top but definitely get it! Our server was friendly and made us feel welcome and answered all of my questions.
I love this restaurant and have been here many times. The menu is full of diverse and fresh offerings. Everything is reliably delicious. The service is wonderful. If you are in the neighborhood, this is a great place to grab a meal.
The ambience was especially lovely for us, not only because the place is so attractive and the food delicious, but because when I asked for a quiet space, the large back room which is often used for private parties was opened for us even though there were only three of us. It was so quiet, and we could talk easily. The restaurant had to turn the heat on in the room for us, so they really went out of their way to make us comfortable. They were 1005 accommodating.
We'll be back!
Cozy, friendly, low key. Service, ambience, value get five stars, food four--Turkish cuisine works perfectly in a bistro setting. My one complaint is that salads tend to be overdressed, ingredients in certain dishes don't always marry. Still a wonderful place to spend an hour or so with your significant other.
One of my favorite spots for a dependably good meal and friendly service! Great neighborhood dining without the noise and crowds!
