Rosemary's Thyme Bistro
This has been one of my favorite restaurants in DC for years. Good food and value. Friendly staff.
The food was fresh, tasty and enough to take home. It was also seemingly served with “love,”’I.e., concern for our happiness.
It wouldn't take much to make the food good, but that shortfall in effort makes a big difference.
Excellent Mediterranean food, with friendly service!
One of my favorite, go to places. Quiet and casual setting. Always friendly and prompt service staff.
The wait staff were friendly and accommodating. The salad was fresh and home made dressing was tasty. The entrees were amazing--shrimp entree and best spinach raviolo ever. Too full for dessert.
This was perhaps my 11th visit to Rosemary's Thyme. It is a premier place to take Hawaii's Congressional Interns with a guest speaker. The food is very different from that which we experience in Hawaii. The ambiance is perfect for our group. I plan to be back every year!
It calls itself a neighborhood bistro and .... it is!.. I found two dishes worth asking for the recipe - lentil soup and hummus - both of which showed an appreciative use of lemon to accent the food. The remainder of our orders shrimp and pizza were from a well-informed kitchen. A nicely done coffee-chocolate flan for dessert. Pizza crust was a little thinker than I like, but nicely cooked and good flavored ingredients. Wine was fairly priced with decent mid-range options. Our server was sweet and attentive.
This is a great option for an informal Sunday brunch in Dupont. The food was tasty and the service very quick.
We loved our dinner at RT. The service was outstanding and the waiter went out of his way to help us order from the Happy Hour menu as it ends at 7 PM and we arrived at 6:45. House cocktail menu is unique and refined. Tapas and dinner menu items were outstanding and well worth the price. I will be back again.
I recently had brunch there on a Sunday morning. The place was quiet and relaxed, which was pleasant and allowed for having a conversation. We sat at a table by the large windows. Food was good and simple. Service was excellent. It wasn't too pricey.
Food was excellent. We were seven and each plate was delicious. Ingredients very well balanced, good wine at great prices. Service was great and conscious of allergies.
Always enjoying the brunch or dinner at rosemary . Aylin is great as always with her service . Friendly customer service and great food.
Has a reasonably priced and varied menu. All that we chose was prepared well. We opted to sit indoors unlike most of the patrons the evening we went, so we had the indoor seating area largely to ourselves. Conversation was easy under the circumstances, but that may not be indicative of what one might encounter if most of the diners were indoors. The staff was attentive and seemed eager to please. We will return without hesitation.
As always, a great atmosphere. You fell welcome. Tonight I had the bronzno with arugula. The fish was grilled and very flavorful. My colleague had blackened salmon on the Med salad. He said it was prepared very well, with good blackened spice. A very good meal for a good value in this neighborhood gem.
We went to Rosemary’s for a bachelorette party. The staff was incredible, especially our server Eileen! We sat outside and enjoyed the neighborhood. The food was fresh and perfectly portioned. I loved the artichoke and mushroom pizza. We will be back!!
Great service, delicious food. I had not eaten here in years and will definitely return for their tasty lamb and fish dishes.
We went for a Sunday brunch. It was very quiet and we got a nice outdoor table. The food was yummy. I had the Spinach Borek which was delicious and came with spicy breakfast potatoes and fruit. Others in my party had traditional eggs, meat and toast and were pleased with their choices. Attentive waiter and good coffee
Excellent!!! Would definitely recommwnd it. Very casual, great service and the food was amazing!
Really enjoyed sitting by the window and the view outside. A delicious Sunday brunch!
Great service and food!
The waitstaff was attentive but not overly intrusive. Would recommend for anyone looking for a quick bite of the familiar prepared with an interesting twist.
We chose the restaurant because they would let us dine with our dogs.
We sat on the patio, it was perfect! A beautiful DC evening.
Our food and our waiter were excellent.
We were very lucky to have a large table available to us at Rosemary's Thyme: the wait staff handled our large party very well. I would definitely come back.
We found this cute restaurant and decided to try it on Mother's Day since there was availability! Delicious! The service was great and the food was delicious! My wife even ordered off the menu and the chef was able to accommodate her request. The serving size was just right and the food was well-prepared. We will return to this restaurant on one of our next trips to DC. Make sure to try the bruschetta duo! Reminded me of Italy for sure!
Great for friends to catch up, have a great meal, and people watch!!
Great food, good service, loved the dessert!
Man this place is amazing I’m not gonna tell you anything else because you don’t need to know anything else. If you like stuff on the menu it tastes good I don’t know what to tell you stop reading and just go already you coward
It had been a while since we had been to this former fave neighborhood restaurant. We were very happy to see the new updates, decor and the food and service were excellent. We'll definitely be back again soon.
Great neighborhood spot. Food was delicious. Service was friendly. Ambiance on the outdoor patio was very pleasant.
Food and service were top notch
Food was excellent and despite getting crowded, we didn’t feel rushed. Very nice service.
Wonderful service, very good food. We loved the hummus and the dumplings (which are like a ravioli). We split a dual kabob (chicken and adana) and both were very good, though could have used a bit more veggies. We think we missed out by not choosing their flatbread, however, as it looked amazing! We'll be back to try.
We dine at the Clifton location frequently. Food and service is always exceptional so I did not hesitate to make a reservation at the DC location. Service was poor and very slow and the food mediocre. Very disappointed.
Everything was fantastic!
The food was sub par
The ingredients were not fresh!
My wife and I shared the calamari appetizer which was a perfect starter. Rosemary's prepares the calamari in a tomato based sauce and cooked with spinach and garlic. It’s both a delicious dish and a welcome change from the deep fried version served at many a restaurant. The branzino main course consisted of two large pieces of branzino, light broiled and served with kale. The branzino was cooked just enough to leave it moist and mouthwatering. I enjoyed my margarita pizza, a regular favorite for me. In addition, the price of an entrée is reasonable compared to some of the more expensive choices that offer food of a similar high quality.
