Rose. Rabbit. Lie. at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas Ratings and Reviews
The hostesses are extremely unfriendly...they almost make you feel unwelcome. They sat us in the worst spot. Our waiter on the other hand was amazing. Everything we ordered was delicious and our waiter totally helped us out by giving amazing recommendations. There's a dress code but its not enforced because I saw people dressed very casual. Not a place to go for a special occasion.
Authentic. Real. Smooth professional live entertainment. Specialty cocktails are creative and delicious. The desserts are inspirational and flavor pairings are always spot on. We first found place upon the recommendation of a friend for the "must try" chocolate terrarium. We now return every year!
The best part was the entertainment by far! That is pretty much what you are paying for with the outrageous prices. I was looking forward to trying the chocolate terrarium and even though it was pretty and interesting to taste everything it was not worth $38!!! I also had some type of strange allergic reaction to the roasted chicken dinner but eventually it went away with plenty of water and time. It was my husband's birthday which I noted in the reservation and only the hostess said Happy Birthday. Our Server was Not Good at all. He could have worked at Dennys and I wouldn't have known the difference.
Somewhat disappointed yet it was "ok". Service could be much better yet it was not bad...
food was unique and good. Live music and the tap dances were good. Overall it was somewhat disorganized. We had a 7pm reservation. Several of us were waiting. When we finally were taken into the restaurant we were surprised to see the place half empty.... Front receptionist needs to at least "fake" a smile, its ok, your in the service industry..... when you have had a bad day I don't need to know it..... once again... fake it.
I will go back for a second try as it is an unusual and interesting format and with a little tightening up could be a place I would go to regularly.
The place, the food and service were amazing. We chose the set menu and every course was prepared to perfection. Waiters, waitresses and even managers helped picking up plates.
Live music playing jazz, 2 excellent singers and great décor made for a beautiful evening (well, the begging of one). I definitely recommend this place !
This was a disappointment from start to finish. The table service was slow and the meal was poorly paced out of the kitchen The dishes were uneven. Some were good, others were poorly conceived and/or executed. We made the reservation based on the expected experience and what we had was an overpriced dinner with a 3 piece vocal jazz ensemble. The music was good, but loud. It was however, the best part of the meal. With the variety of outstanding options in the city (let alone in the Cosmpolitan) there is no chance I will return. Don't make the same mistake that we did. Eat (and spend your money) somewhere else.
This was a lively restaurant with its live band, singers and dancers. It was a New Year’s Eve dinner so we expected it to be a bit loud. It was a set menu for the evening and we all enjoyed our food - even the one vegetarian in our group! It was pricey but figured that would be the case due to the night. Fun dinner.
Although you walk quite a distance to get to the restaurant Rose. Rabbit. Lie. is a treat. Think dinner and a high-energy, interactive lounge act. The waitstaff are attentive and the "show" is spontaneous yet well-planned. The bill was not outrageous when considering the fact that you're having a top notch meal and a show. The prix fixe menu can seem a little limited for individuals with a "meat & potato" palette, but if you're a true foodie and enjoy presentation - Rose. Rabbit. Lie. is the place for you.
We ate late night after a concert. It’s not the first time we’ve been here. The food and service were excellent. Kevin was our server and I’ll be requesting his section every time we come back. Love the entertainment and atmosphere. I must try when looking for a unique dining experience in Vegas.
The live music was amazing and I loved the music choice and the way they interacted with the tables. Food was delicious and original in their presentation, particularly the cookies and treats which was presented in a dog-shaped jar with a crown. A great restaurant for a fun date night or to go with a group of friends.
I was looking for a restaurant for a couples dinner with a similar vibe to STK, and Rose. Rabbit. Lie. was recommended. It did not disappoint. There were multiple singers/performers that worked the room while we ate, but it wasn’t too loud or distracting to enjoy the meal and conversation.
We all had the tasting menu that was recommended by the chef for the night, and the food was awesome.
I highly recommend this spot. You’ll enjoy it.
After reading the reviews I knew we were in for a treat! I’m a foodie so the menu was my playground. We decided to do the Rose.Rabbit.Lie experience where they give you basically a sample of the best, about 12 small plates that lead to the main one and dessert. Omg delish! My favorite: caviar tacos, scallops, and the Brussels sprouts!!! All of them were great but those stood out the most for me. They have quite the wine list, be prepared to see nice bottles (mostly 200-500 , and then the 1k and up range). We started with a light Barolo, then ended with one of our favorite go to, Inglenook. We were seated right by the stage. They said they were the most requested seats! I wanted this because I wanted to be entertained as we enjoyed our food and wine. The singers and band were amazing! Next time I’m in Vegas this will be a must for us!
Came here on a Wednesday night to celebrate my best friend getting married (the next day at aria). I made reservations for 10 at 8:30. Our party was late but the restaurant was more than happy to accommodate us. We also had two more people added to our party last minute and it was no problem. My husband and I were late but were told there were two shows that had already occurred which all my friends really enjoyed. There ended up being an additional 2 more shows that occurred by the time we all left and they were fabulous. Great atmosphere but it was loud so except to talk loudly. Server was very attentive which we really appreciated. I would definitely recommend this place to anybody who wants to have a nice dinner and show
This was such a great overall experience! Food was unreal - we did the tasting menu and asked for specifications and they completely accommodated them. Service was phenomenal, live music fantastic. Stand out dishes: caviar tacos, steak tartare, & duck confit pasta. The jazz singers came into the side room we were in and we’re so fun - the ambience totally made our night.
Amazing atmosphere! Started in the Library Bar where the bartender whipped us up a couple great drinks. Then to the dinner table, which was right next to the piano room. The food was excellent but the entertainment was great! Will definitely visit again, need to see the other rooms.
Decided on trying Rose. Rabbit. Lie. last minute while staying at the Cosmopolitan. Was able to get a reservation for the same night and was seated soon after the reservation time. The food was very good and was reasonably priced by Vegas standards. The live music and entertainment were outstanding. My only complaint is that we were seated in a side room that did not have a view of the main area where the band was and were most of the singers and dancers spent their time. They did walk through the side dining room and the quality of the music was very good even when the artists were in the main room.
Overall the place was Great! BUT the one thing I have to say is the wait to get the food was very long. 2 of us got the tasting menu and 3 people in the party did not. They were waiting over 2 hours just to get their appetizers. I was so upset because we did not even get bread at the table. Our server was awesome so it is not his fault but the restaurant has to accommodate people that are waiting for their food. Our reservations were at 8 pm and we did not leave until 12 midnight! I enjoyed the show immensely but I have to say plan to sit for a long time to dine. And it pretty much goes for all of the upscale restaurants in Vegas. Your only "quick " option is to do the buffets and they are all mediocre at best. (and quite pricey)
But I still recommend Rose Rabbit Lie. The tasting menu was quite good!
