We went while on a recent trip to Vegas. The restaurant is tucked away pretty far from the casino. Dining here was a bit more of an experience than a meal. We all did the Chef's tasting and it was really cool. But my wife doesn't like seafood and she got mostly stuck with vegetarian options that weren't too inspired.
But, if you like to be a bit adventurous the chef can come up with some really cool stuff. I had some grilled octopus that was out of this world and unlike anything I'd had before.
They had live jazz going with two really good singers that walked around and interacted with the dining room. We were nervous it would be too loud but it wasn't and the music fit with the ambiance of the restaurant and the meal very well.
It's not a cheap place to go, but is totally worth it if you're into any of the stuff I mentioned.
Came to Rose.Rabbit.Lie on a bachelor party trip and they did everything to make it a special experience for the bachelor as well as the rest of the group. Food was great, entertainment was even better. The service was very well timed, we were never distracted nor ignored nor left wondering. Extremely accommodating and courteous and made to feel welcomed.
Well done by all!
Have visited previously and had same great experience!! This is one of the best restaurants in Vegas! Will be back!
Amazing cocktails, great music and ambience. Highly recommend!!!
For. Old. People.
After reading the great reviews, we were pumped to eat here. But both my wife and I knew within 10 seconds that this wasn't for us. Though certainly talented, the entertainment for the evening was a lounge singer and a three-piece jazz trio doing fairly tired hits like I Will Survive. It would've made for decent background music but was not an enthralling live-music performance. As for the food, the ricotta agnolotti was great but our entrees--branzino/cod--weren't noteworthy. We might've lasted an hour before we knew it was time to get the check. My wife and I are 41 and 39 and we felt about 20 years too young for this kind of show. The table of 60 year old gals in front of us were having the time of their lives. So at least someone was into it.
Horrible loud chaotic atmosphere
Poor seating
Never again
The drinks were ok. The herb brioche is dry and tasteless. The scallops and porterhouse were excellent. I didn’t care for the lobster fritters. We had strawberries and chocolate for dessert, which was just ok. The jazz trio and singers were good but loud.
Hold onto your hats! This place is awesome. It's the type of place that Las Vegas used to be. Reasonable price for the highest level of food and entertainment imaginable. If you are considering an evening at Rose. Rabbit. Lie. then don't hesitate. But be warned, the place is lively and you'll probably stay longer than you intended.
Definitely a favorite! Pricey, but worth it. The live music is phenomenal. The food is never disappointing. Ambiance is amazing! So much fun to dance during dinner too. Start in the Speak Easy and move to the Supper Club.
Food was excellent, as was the entertainment (especially the dancers!). Very fun atmosphere. The only thing that made our dinner less than ideal was our waiter. He was so grumpy and unwelcoming, and it turned a 5 star experience into a 3 star.
Excellent food! Excellent service! Excellent atmosphere! Such a fun place to go. Lots of entertainment along with great food! It is dinner and a show combined! You will not regret this place at all! LOVE!
One of the most exciting and delicious dining experience I have ever had. Not only was the food icredible, but the entertainment was fantastic and super talented! Would highly recommed to anyone staying at The Coso or visiting Vegas!!!
Unbelievably LOUD noise level. It was impossible to have a conversation at all. If you come, be aware it is ALL about the musicians. Food was very good, drinks overpriced. Service is good, but not on a level that would justify these prices. You’re paying handsomely for entertainment here.
I was very excited to try Rose. Rabbit. Lie. My husband and I went with a group of friends to celebrate 3 birthdays. There were 8 of us and we went for desserts and drinks. We ordered 3 desserts : Chocolate Terrarium, Bananas Foster and the Cookie Jar. The Bananas Foster was VERY GOOD, but I was disappointed with the Chocolate Terrarium....not much to it. There was supposed to be a layer of chocolate pudding, but none of us ever found it. The cookie jar had very few cookies in it.
I was most disappointed with the entertainment. The reviews described "spontaneous" entertainment throughout the rooms in the restaurant. Well....there was a 3 piece band and two different singers. There was nothing "spontaneous" about it. The restaurant describes the experience as "going down the rabbit hole." ????? Nothing surprising happened. Our group was all excited and ready for a very unique experience , but it was just "okay."
It was really lovely. We had the beef Wellington. If you’d like to know how many this feeds, easily a group dinner for 6 - 7 adults.
My wife and I loved this place. Possibly the only dining experience in Vegas where it was about having a wholesome quality experience. Best food in my lifetime.
Absolutely amazing and authentic! It’s a must try.
Everything was good, except the service.
Love love love! Totally worth it. Obviously this is gear towards the sophisticated yuppies and people with taste. Beauty and Essex was and is not my favorite. This place, hands down our favorite place now. The singing and entertainment is awesome and food is out of this world - definitely every dish has a twist. It’s pricey but completely completely worth every cent.
Will be back for sure!
Not very impressed by service and food
Fantastic experience!! The food, service and entertainment were spectacular! I totally recommend Rose Rabbit Lie for people who like to have fun when dining out.
One of the most amazing experiences I’ve ever had. Must visit for any trip to Vegas.
Our server was super rude and rushed us. It really ruined our time there.
Our waiter was ok, he was annoyed when we gave our opinion on drinks and said no to dessert .[Ryan] and the entertainment was the only thing that made the place worth it
But overall a big let down
The cocktails tasted like pipe water :
- white rabbit
- through the looking
- the philosopher stone
Food
-overprice for a tapas type theme
-octopus was tough
- steamed mussels and oysters were the only saving grace.
Isn’t worth a return trip
The cocktails were fun and very very tasty. The entertainment was the best part of the evening! The food was great too...service only got 4 stars because they struggled with us a bit at the beginning (bartender was the bomb though!) and then it all worked out and they did great. Would def go again for a special evening.
We were seated promptly with our reservation. Service was excellent although I felt that we were encouraged a little to move along..no dilly dallying appreciated. Food was delicious and creative. Music was great. Supperclub vibe but very noisy so much so that conversation was somewhat difficult.
Server was excellent - keep that guy!
Super fun and great entertainment! Truly a unique experience. Everyone had a wonderful time!
Can describe it in one word - FABULOUS! We had such a great time!
Patrick our server was so professional and attentive. The performers made it a true culinary musical experience. The presentation of the cocktails and taste were extraordinary. The Beef Wellington was so different than the norm. It was exceptional. The desserts were beautiful but not any but free options for people with nut allergies. I can’t say enough that everyone should go here at least once
Entertainment was outstanding
Spectacular dining experience in a supper club. If you don't know what a supper club is, basically it has live entertainment and music that go along with your gastronomic experience. The atmosphere was lively and and service was top notch. They had live musicians and singers that serenade the diners in style. Food was playful and creative. It wasn't took fusion or experimental and stuck to original flavours but presented in a very creative way. We recommend ordering the chocolate terrarium for dessert. It's huge but it looks like real flowers inside a bed of chocolate dirt which is all edible. One of the most amazing dishes I have seen in a long time.
Love this place. The entertainment is great!!! And so is the food. Drinks are on point. Always a great time.
Super fun! Would love to go back next time I’m in Vegas
Our group of 7 dined here on Saturday night. We had arrived at 10:30 on time for our reservation. We weren’t sat until 11:05. We had a drink in the bar and then when we were sat in the restaurant our server immediately came over. He was great. However the reason for the lower marks in service was because we had paid our tab in the bar and 30 minutes later the bartender came over and said she had given us the wrong check and handed us one for 70 dollars more. No copy of the original check and no copy of the voided charges.
We ordered quite of food which is a bit overpriced for what you get. The Branzino and Chicken dishes were delicious though.
Entertainment was Incredible, however we only got 3 performances because we were “too late “ and next time we should come earlier. Well were there earlier, just sat way too late.
Overall not a terrible experience, but not a great experience. I would try it again, but in no rush.
Service ok - our waiter was slow and distracted - been here over a dozen times and I have had way better service. Made a note on the reservation that we were celiac and had to ask 3 times for the GF menu. Food is always very good. I have always been pleased with this place and always give it 5 stars but this time, I am giving 3. A bottle of wine was purchased as a birthday gift by my father but we never even received it and it was pre paid for. Very disappointing. Called general manager to chat and never got a call back.
Great experience. We celebrated our daughter's 21st birthday with several family members. We all had a fabulous time. Excellent live music, entertainment. We will definitely be going again next time we're in Vegas. Food was delicious, wonderful ambiance. Well worth the price.
Food was mediocre, service was the worst I've experienced in Vegas. Will not dine here again and wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Amazing music and ambience, delightful service and amazing food. Loved all the performances only wish I had room for more of the delicious food!
Wonderful experience and I mean experience. The live entertainment sets off the whimsical atmosphere, the creative food combinations and presentations, fantastic. Bring $ it is pricy.
