Rose. Rabbit. Lie. at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas Ratings and Reviews
Innovative surprise! We attended for a 50th Birthday celebration and was blown away by the deliciously creative menu, fabulous cabaret of talent and the ultimate Chocolate Terrarium! I ate dirt AND I LIKED IT! 🌹 🐇 Lie is the Godchild of Alice & wonderWorld. The performers are an eclectic mix of pure energy and you’ll leave happily ever after with a belly of good food and a soul full of good song. Best place in Vegas...I predict a wave of entertainment will follow in RRL’s vapor trail!
Awesome dining experience. Live Jazz, singers and dancers. We ordered the oysters which were fresh, cavier tacos (needed to order two to share as they are small but delicious), branzino was delicious. Wine selection was excellent. Highly recommend this restaurant.
Wow! We had such an amazing time dining here. We were four friends vacationing in Vegas and we liked this place so much we returned a second night during. The menu is very interesting and almost every dish we tried was fantastic. Our server was attentive and did a great job advising how much food and she coursed it out for us. The wine list is excellent, although fairly pricey. Food prices were very reasonable for portion size and execution.
The show was SUPER! The performers were quite talented and the whole experience was just awesome. We would definitely return to this restaurant.
The only bit of advice is that the show doesn't start until 7:00. We dined at 6:00 because we had a show to get to, so we missed much of the entertainment the first night we dined here. They should either start the show at 6:00 or not take reservations before 6:45, since the entertainment is such an important part of the experience. Still, our first meal was delicious.
Music and entertainment is a lot of fun, but food doesn't live up to the price or description. Don't get me wrong, it *tries* to be good, but comes up short. The price tag is not warranted for the quality of food you get. I recommend sitting at the bar, drinking and enjoying the entertainment and people watching.
This was one of the BEST upscale restraunts I've been to. The food was scrumptious, and hand crafted cocktails fresh and unique. Loved the layout and decor. Swanky and sophisticated with an uber-industrial jazz club feel. Entertainment with a variery of talented, interactive performers was a welcome surprise to our evening. Loved it! Can't wait to come back.
We enjoyed our experience but had visited before and were a bit disappointed to be seated in the dining room with the stage. We didn't have as much interaction with the performers as we had when we were sat in the bar area. It seemed the main dining room also had a better view of the entertainers than we did in our room. That being said, we enjoyed the food, the service was great and it was a fun Vegas experience!
One of my favorite restaurants!!! Absolutely love the setting, all details involved, the entertainment. Singer Skye is amazing and my very favorite. She involves the audience and it’s great energy. The food is good but small portions. A few more non seafood dishes would be great. Service is excellent. A must experience restaurant!!!
This place is not just dinner, it's an experience! Though it is very expensive! The through the looking glass cocktail was the best! The live music and awesome decor elevates the experience, as does the presentation of the food. However, the taste was the food was very good but not amazing. Aka not worth the price. However, the desserts were phenomenal! The peach parfait was out of this world! The cheesecake was also incredible, and it was a very cool, deconstructed version of cheesecake.
Restaurant was a little loud, which made talking at the table a bit difficult but that is only due to the live music that is in constant rotation and those attempting to talk over it. Entertainment was wonderful, food was incredible and it was an overall extravagant experience. :)
Very cool band and awesome decor... but... service was not good. For food we had oysters, these were just “ok” (we are used to traditional northeast oysters and these were not). Next we had the octopus dish which was delightful, despite being tossed on the farthest corner of our table and a murmur of “octopus”. It was just a turn off and not at all
Vegas style service. That said it was on point taste wise. Last we had steak tartare which was pretty good.
Service left a bad taste in our mouths that we couldn’t shake... besides the seemingly rude presentation of the octopus dish, there was the removal of an unfinished cocktail and the “do you need change” quip. They did comp us some delightful port which was much appreciated!
We wouldn’t likely go back to dine here, but would still recommend this dining experience based on the awesome entertainment.
Rose, Rabbit, Lie was an experience for dinner like no other here at the Cosmo of Las Vegas. The wait staff and bartenders are top notch. The entertainment was top notch. The food was okay. We like the fact that many of the dishes are deconstructed from the normal. The problem is that some of the dishes could be hotter temperature wise from the kitchen. The beef stroganoff was unfortunately cold when served. The waiter was told and a correction was made on our bill. We appreciated that but were not expending it. The French Onion Puff Pastry was cold as well along with the two side sauces that it was served with. Maybe I am missing something with this dish and that is the way it is supposed to be but something tell me it's not. The other dishes we had (too many to mention) excelled in quality and taste. My wife and I would return again to the RRL knowing going in next time what to ask for and how when ordering. We were there on a Thursday night so the entertainment was very jazzy with lots of soul. The two singers are great and inter act with the dinner crowd. The three piece band backing the singers were excellent and spot on throughout the show.
Special week girlfriends birthday stayed at cosmopolitan ,,, this is the best of all the restaurant s in the hotel. The music. Theatre atmosphere,,, staff. Food ,,, ambiance. Creative cocktails justify the price ,,, was one of the highlights of trip and made a special night more special ,,, caviar was the piece de resistance ‘
This is the most fun and uniquely entertaining venue I've ever encountered in Vegas. Think dinner theater for Alice and Wonderland. While there, we were crooned with three distinct styles of vocals with a great band and very interesting dance expressions.
Then there is dinner. The menu was interesting, the food really good, and Ryan provided excellent service despite the 3 sisters in our group who are quite particular with many questions and apt to send things back to the kitchen (which they didn't).
All in all it was a fantastic evening.
Wonderful dining experience! Great live music and entertainment - we didn't want to leave. Awesome atmosphere, tasting menu was amazing and the service, signature cocktails and delicious food far exceeded our expectations. We will make it a regular stop when we come to Vegas. Thank you for an incredible night, my husband's 50th birthday was a blast!
The appetizers were exceptional, our entrees were nice, but not memorable. (Will possibly try other entrees in the future)
Service was also nice; however remained typical in the sense that nothing really stood out.
They did provide a complimentary dessert for my birthday, which was nice, however it was given to me as we were leaving. No real fault of the establishment, we were just not aware that it was coming.
I would definitely come back again!
This was the second time coming to Rose Rabbit Lie. It was worth every penny. There were three of us sharing the food and the Tapas format lets you try lots of different food and flavors. The drinks are crafted cocktails and were wonderful. Our waitress was helpful and friendly as was the entire staff. The entertainment was so fun. We were smiling the whole night. And best dessert ever. So unique.
We came here for a Bachelorette party and the staff was friendly and able to accommodate us when we were faced with a difficult circumstance. The food was amazing and very filling. We truly enjoyed the live entertainment. Dinner and a show is the way to go! We shall be back in the near future!
This beautifully appointed restaurant boasts "surprises" and it doesn't disappoint. I won't give anything away except to say we knew nothing about this restaurant, and when the walls "disappeared", we were energetically surprised. The food is fabulous, and the wait staff attentive and kind. If you want to have an intimate conversation, this is not your place, but if you want a dining experience that lingers long after your meal is complete, make your way to Rose. Rabbit. Lie.
My friends and I booked our reservation well in advance for 7:30pm. We arrived at the restaurant 6 mins late and they did not hold our seat per their 15 minute policy. We had a difficult time finding the restaurant as it in another tower in the Cosmopolitan and took about 15 mins to walk to from the main entrance of the Cosmo. Once the young, snobby hostess informed us that we could sit at the bar for a full meal, we did so. We sat at the bar for over 30 mins before anyone acknowledged us. Once we ordered our meal, the food did come fairly quick. The food was wonderful. The entertainment was OK. A bit loud and the singers don't really have any qualms about pulling you up out of your seat as you are putting food in your mouth to sing to you or wrangle you up on stage. I can say that I am glad that I tried the restaurant but I will not go back due to the rude, young hostess who superficially greats you upon arrival and doesn't follow the restaurants own seating policy.
