Rosario's Italian Kitchen
Food was good and plentiful. Nothing spectacular or to write home about, but good traditional American Italian fare. Which for the price and all was in all respect perfect. Wine list is a bit short and pricey for what’s offered, but ok. The service was definitely attentive, and though our waitress was young and terribly inexperienced, she more than made up for that with her sincere sweetness and genuine desire to be helpful. This is a wonderful Rosedale neighborhood place.
Bad food that is really expensive, horrible service until it was time to sign the bill, would not recommend to anyone.
The waitress was great however, the MANAGER was horrible and extremely unprofessional. I had to interject on the waitress behalf as the manager rudely spoke down to her in customers presence. Not only did the manager insist on charging me a birthday cake cutting on my cake he drop the knife and attempted to cut my cake until I confronted him. I will never return.
I love the dinning here always a great time good food and service.
Fantastic food and service. Highly recommend!
Man y'all bread sticks just entered the top 5 bread conversation. Man I punshied those bread sticks. And then the food came out smoking hot and was very flavorful. It was also my friend's bday and they sung happy birthday for her with a slice of strawberry shortcake the cake had to have fell out of Jesus pocket and touched his sandle before it hit that plate lol I can't explain it no other way. Im definitely going back asap. And the service was on the level of a secret service agent protecting Barack Obama. Didn't even see them walk up to the table lol
Our server Janaye was very nice and made sure we were taken care of. It was my birthday and first visit there and certainly won’t be our last.
I called Rosario's Sunday morning around 10:30am and confirmed my reservation for 22 people at 315pm. It was confirmed. When I arrived at 3pm, I was informed that there was no open table reservation for me. I then spoke with the manager Robert. I I tried to show him my confirmation on my phone and he refused to look at it after trying to show him my confirmation several times saying I don't need to see that, we don't have a reservation for you. He then showed me his tablet showing no Open Table reservations at all. I also told him that I called this morning to confirm. He then stated that he could accommodate us. We were seated around 330pm. There were about 18 people at he mentioned stated that we should sit with the people who will be sharing the check. However, it was a large crowd and only a few people heard him. When I came in early, I introduced myself and said I was the coordinator, however, he never mentioned to me about us sitting with those sharing the check. As the waitress started taking the orders, I she noticed we were not sitting next to the person we were sharing the check with and told Robert. He came to the area and very loudly begin to explain to us the meaning of chaos and confusion vs order and that our situation was chaos. He was very deeming, loud, and embarrassing. He told us how we are making things very hard and confusing for the waiters. However, the vast majority of us didn't know. We were there for a family gathering and he brought a damper and somber tone to the entire dinner. His entire tone was condescending, demeaning and completely uncalled for. He should have told me since I told him I was the coordinator and I would have made sure everyone sat correctly. We will not be returning due to the fact that I called to confirm the reservation, they did not have it, and he refused to even look at my confirmation. Also due to the very disrespectful manager Robert .
Restaurant was surprisingly empty for a Friday night, but the seemed to be doing a busy takeout business. We were seated immediately, and our server was friendly and helpful. Bread brought out was warm and delicious. Our salads arrived and were good as well. Main courses did not disappoint. Very highly recommend this place!
A group of us had dinner inside with a few friends and everyone enjoyed their food. Service was good too.
A place i would go back to again, great food, great atmosphere and amazing staff
Where as the waitress Serenity was very good serving us the best she could the clean shaven African American manager was very rude and arrogant just nasty the food was good for the most part my family member who came to celebrate me recieving my Doctorate Degree was anticipating having her birthday party after seeing the rudeness of the manager she changed her mind I also called Valentino who is affiliated with Rosario and spoke with the manager/owner he was very rude nasty as well!!! They also charged me $1 per slice of my graduation cake I brought per person stating they sold desserts so they were charging me I never n my life had a problem with any restaurant and brought my own cake!
Mom and I were in the neighborhood and we were looking for a restaurant that served breakfast. We found Rosarios Italian Kitchen. Outstanding!!!!!
Wonderful food, French toast, pancakes, eggs, and crispy bacon.
Our server was the best! She treated mom royally.
We’ll definitely be returning.
It was great there where nice.
Always a great time, great portions. Great servers.
I enjoy the food and the ambiance of Rosarios Restaurant.. I also appreciate the tables are available promptly for your reservation time..
Wonderful, wonderful. I love this place. It’s the customer service and the food for me!! The manager who name I forget all the time is the best. I’ve celebrated 3 major events here and each time has been amazing!! And the food is always delicious!! If you are looking for good food, excellent customer service, and an all around great time this is the place for you. Planning my next event really soon!!
The black at the door who sits people was beyond rude
Me & Hubby loved it!!! Definitely returning again
The service that I received at Rosario’s was absolutely spectacular ,above and beyond, customer service.
The manager Robert was so kind & attentive towards us. He really made us feel like VIP guest.
Our server Christine was attentive and genuine and we loved every moment of our meal.
We started with the breadsticks and marinara which were hot and savory and the cream of crab soup...literally the best cream of crab I’ve ever eaten . It was so decadent and FILLED with crab.
For our entrees my daughter had the ravioli and I had a shrimp pasta I can’t remember the name but I do remember eating half in the car and the other half in the driveway lol.
Thank you again !
Table for 10. Service was very slow and staff was nice but forgetful about getting water, silverware, orders. We had bread before anyone had silverware or water. But the dinner was good!
The food was delicious. The dessert was tasty. The service was friendly. The restaurant was clean. The seating was excellent. The location is good. The parking is good. I recommend this place. Give it a try. You will be happy.
My husband had hair in his cold slaw and we had to wait 1 hour before we got a table and we had reservations..
My date and I definitely enjoyed it here. The servers were very attentive to us and had great customer service. The food was decent and they had a wide variety to choose from.
We have been coming to this restaurant for a count of years now and feel like it’s gone a bit downhill. From the furniture to the quality of food we did not enjoy our experience. The bench in the booth was uncomfortable, it was leaning forward, but we didn’t complain at the time because we felt it was the safest place for us to be to remain socially distant. The vegetables that we ordered as sides were under cooked. The replacements that we received were not acceptable either. We won’t be patronizing this restaurant again.
It was my girlfriend’s 40th birthday dinner. Her parents counts be here to celebrate due to Covid but this was a perfect evening. Spacious dining so we didn’t feel too close. Food and the service as always was on point. We will continue to come back time and time again. If you are thinking about coming to dine or order carry-out just do it!
The food was great. I would recommend this restaurant to friends and family
We came to celebrate my moms birthday with the family. We normally come just after church with a smaller crowd. From the reservations online to the time the checks came everything was great. Customer service and quality and so much more. They even helped with the cake, cutting and serving. I definitely took pride in introducing the first timers to our go to spot!
I've been to Rosario's more than once, and I really enjoy it a lot. This particular time, on a Saturday night, the crowd was "out the door" it was so busy. I'm sure it effected the service considerably. Several times we had to request help from the maitre'd (he may be the owner), to "fix" service issues. He was right on it each time.
I will return and hope the service issue was a one time problem.
Food was excellent. Really enjoyed my vday there 2/14/20 .. thanks!
Our waiter John was great and the food was delicious.
The birthday dinner for the honoree was not prepared correctly so she was not eaten. 😔
My meal was delicious!
Service is always above par at Rosario's. Management is always lovely and very accommodating. Food this time was just ok. I had the cowboy cut pork chop which was pretty small and had too much seasoning for my taste . Also, being small, it was fairly dry. My dinner guest are only a little of her turkey special which she said was ruined by too much flour in the gravy. I also had the cream of crab which was passable, but again an inordinate amount of flour for my own personal taste. The Caesar salad was great as usual.I might also suggest fresh brewed iced tea instead of out of the fountain. I guess not every meal can be a winner, and perhaps being a holiday, the kitchen was a bit challenged.
This was my third visit. All my previous visits were superb. I still highly recommend this establishment !
Service was great. Manager was very attentive. Portions are ridiculously huge!
Robert was very helpful and polite. He made sure our party of 8 was seated quickly. Our server wasn't very good, but I believe she may have been new. Robert made up for the poor service by providing our party with cake for the birthday people. We enjoyed our experience overall. We will be back.
Food is average to good and there is a lot of it!
Service is lacking. We felt ignored even though we had a reservation. We were told to take a seat (without a greeting ) and then shuffled off to a back room as there was a party going on in the main dining room. Service was slow although it seemed well intended. There are a lot of excellent Italian restaurants in Baltimore, unfortunately this is not one of them.
Great food and service. Yum.
My wife an I were pleasantly surprised by Rosario's. The menu was a bit intimidating, with several pages and options. But we narrowed it down to our selections. The food was outstanding! We definitely thought it would be so-so to good with all the selections to order. If the kitchen can nail every dish on the menu like the ones we chose. That would be impressive. We are definitely going to be going back, to try something else and hopefully some of their desserts as well.
It was really great but our waiter keep forgetting EVERYTHING even though she wrote everything down. It became rather insulting when we were 1/4 parties there.
