    Loved our server. Super busy Saturday night but the staff managed to get food and drinks there quickly. It’s the Jersey shore so Shdnt be surprised that it’s as pricey as it was. Most fish $40-50 entrees. Steaks >$55 Seared tuna for $46 and was pretty flavorless and the accompanying noodles were way too sweet. Should have stuck to the basics.

    Yesterday's birthday lunch at Rooney’s Oceanfront Restaurant in Long Branch was next-level. Service MVPs: Jessica absolutely ran the show—spot-on menu tips, refills before we even noticed we needed them, and pure positive energy start to finish. James floated by to check on us, making sure everything stayed flawless. Teamwork makes the dream work. 🙌🏽 Food goals achieved: Dancing Shrimp that practically moon-walked off the plate— juicy, and gone in seconds. French Onion Soup with a cheese blanket thick enough to file taxes. Red Snapper—crispy skin, silky inside, bright citrus pop. Truffle Fries exactly how they’re supposed to be: crispy, fragrant, never soggy. Greens & Grains Salad (quinoa, farro, roasted squash, goat cheese, cranberries, walnuts, pepitas, carrot hummus, lemon-tarragon vinaigrette) that made “eating healthy” feel like a flex. Toast tally: 🥂 Glacier-cold champagne for the celebratory clink. 🥃 Silky pours of Johnnie Walker Blue to close out the night like bosses. Massive thank-you to Jessica, James, and the entire Rooney’s crew for turning a simple dinner into an unforgettable birthday celebration. Full hearts, happy taste buds—see you again soon! 💙

    Birthday celebration. Beautiful seat at the open windows and a beautiful day. Delicious artichoke appetizer and lazy lobster dinner with a Makers Mark Old Fashioned. The dessert was a new one and on the house. We were welcomed by Daryl as always. He is very attentive to his guests! Our server was attentive but not intrusive. Always a great time.

    It was a beautiful evening and Kate, our server was knowledgeable, personable, and had great insights and information for special dietary restrictions of some of the people in our party. Kudos to her! The bartender went and actually found the bottle of Prosecco we were looking for: thank you! The food was prepared perfectly. Daryl, the owner/manager stopped by to personally check on our enjoyment of the evening! Thank you for a truly lovely evening! One of our favorites!

    The most perfect dinner with friends on the most perfect evening. Everything from drinks to dessert were amazing. The had a wonderful Asparagus pasta special that we all shared among other apps. The lobster is always amazing. Although many go for the seafood the meat dishes should not be overlooked. Especially when the Pork Chop. The view is always spectacular and so is the service! Can't wait to go back soon.

    Service could have been better, but a huge storm hit while we were there and all the diners seated outside had to be brought in, making for some confusion and a LOT of noise. That said, the food was delicious & the view is great.

    Service was extremely sloe and the prices were exorbitant. $10 per shrimp! The sampler we were encouraged to order seemed like it had frozen seafood and smothered in spicy sauce. Very disappointed. We won’t be going back.
