Despite the burning hot record temperature, Rooney’s was a cool oasis with a great view. The place was very crowded, even at our reservation time of 5:45. We were seated at 6 at a lovely table. Despite being slammed with people, our waitress was so efficient and friendly. She gets 5 stars as well. The food is always well prepared with many choices. I particularly like the ability you have to order from several different types of fish and then choose your style to cook it ( grilled, broiled, blackened, etc). It also comes with your choice of a sauce and 2 slides. The salads are very large and the lobster mac and cheese is awesome. This is a great place for a special occasion or just come for great food and a fantastic view.

We had a wonderful waitress but our Bloody Marys were sub par and we had 2/3 remade. They were weak and missing a lime and so much ice that they became very watery. The Green Apple Salad was tasteless and there was not enough dressing.Perhaps a few more items could be added to make it tastier. The view was incredible and we thought the waitress was great.

We always love Rooneys... Apps were great, we had 5. There were a few hiccups in our main meals that got sent back, but everyone was happy in the end. Our servers were terrific all around.

As usual, everything was first rate. From the lobster bisque, and the tuna bruschetta appetizers through my halibut lunch was excellent. Our server Debbie was excellent and very personable. Thanks again.
