It was a chilly evening but they went above and beyond to keep us comfortable. The food was amazing. It was a night at the Peninsula. Never disappointed yet

Service was slow; some were in training. Maybe Fri. lunch was not a good time for training.

Had to ask for more salad dressing. Pleasant place to sit and eat.
Food was not as good as the ambiance.

Everything was superb from beginning to end. Our Server, Jordan was Excellent, personable, efficient, attentive, professional and knowledgeable. He answered whatever questions we had about the menu items honestly and thoroughly. The Wait Staff was superb and the Hostess (Jacquelyn) was just lovely. Everyone is very friendly yet professional at the same time.

We're already looking forward to going back soon. THANK YOU to Everyone at Roof Garden for making our early dinner with good friends just Perfect!!!

Perfect place for a leisurely lunch serving clean, low calorie food. You can also get a whopper of a burger.

Outdoor eating on the Peninsula rooftop - remarkable in that it’s the middle of winter in LA with an outside temperature of 50 degrees! Heating system is quite effective and we enjoyed eating under the stars. The food was well prepared and tasty, the desserts well very well done with a home town banana pudding one of our choices. We look forward to coming back when its warmer!

Lovely rooftop location. Dine LA menu had generous portions. Server kindly advised not to order an additional item as I would be too full, which was indeed true. Smore dessert was terrific! Service was attentive.

The food we had at the Roof Garden was under whelming and we were quite disappointed especially coz others had recommended we go try it there. Our company always has events at the hotel and I've always enjoyed the food. We'd also go back for tea (since we've had that several times and absolutely love it) and the bar. I don't know if it was just what we had ordered or not. Two of us had the lobster roll and it was almost like a ceviche sandwich and not what we had expected . Server was very knowledgeable and excellent though!

Nearly none of our food orders came out as we requested. Overpriced and poor value for the meal we had. Have had good lunches there in the past but would not return for dinner. Overly fussy service for a rooftop vibe.

Such awesome service and food. Actually a bargain compared to many places in Beverly Hills! Cocktails are excellent and food portions just right. Order a few and share under the stars.

One serious problem - and this has never happened before in years at your wonderful venue - was my guest sept back the crab salad. The former foreign minister of Thailand and a total seafood "expert," he said it had gone foul. I was embarrassed and surprised. Please take no such chances. Your sterling reputation is worth, well, gold.

Always consistently good. A place to be able to actually converse and hear each other. A menu that has something for everyone. Friendly attentive service. What else could one ask for??? Go and enjoy an evening under the stars.

Overall it was fine. My date and I agreed the fish tasted back. I'm sure it was fresh but didn't taste fresh. Other than that the rest of the meal was great but there are much better overall options in the area.

Food is ok, service good but what makes this a great spot is the outdoor dining. Try to go on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday as they BBQ outside.

For $28 I expected more than 6 small overcooked shrimp on a single slice of tomato, a few small pieces of pineapple and some very thinly sliced relish. That was it- no side salad or other accompaniment. It would have made a nice appetizer for half the price! The banana pudding (and half whipped cream)was underwhelming and tasteless. Very odd restaurant.....you have to walk down the hallway of the 5th floor hotel, through the spa and watch sunbathers walk through the restaurant t get to the pool. Meh!

I took my family here for my daughter's graduation from High School. You come to a restaurant like the Roof Garden for the outdoor ambience - so it was a shame that the first two tables we were offered (I had reserved two weeks in advance) were facing the kitchen and a concrete wall. I am prepared to pay elevated prices in exchange for an upscale, outdoor experience but I was not prepared for such culinary mediocrity. The two Chinese Chicken salads ($25 each) were bland and easily outclassed by Chin Chin or its equivalent. (It is one of my mother's favorite dishes and she barely touched hers). My Portobello/Black Bean Burger ($22) was dry and uninspired. My Hearts of Palms salad ($16) had a few vague slivers of hearts of palms and a mound of damp, tasteless frisee lettuce. The special greek salad was small, dominated by tomatoes, and had barely any feta cheese. The small piece of salmon that came on top cost an additional $18. My daughter ordered a diet coke which came in that ridiculously small 8 oz. bottle and cost $6.50. We honestly could have had better tasting and more satisfying dining experience at a local deli. The rooftop view is not worth the expense, since you actually can't see off the rooftop. All you can see is the disappointed faces of your fellow diners. The only positive note was the table service. Total cost with tip for six: just under $400. I would avoid this restaurant.
