The Roof Garden at The Peninsula Beverly Hills
Our waiter was so kind and was really attentive to us! 💗
The Roof Garden is quite literally an elevated oasis of calm amid the freneticism of Street life in LA. The ambiance & food are great, but it is really the friendly and efficient staff that make the Roof Garden one of my absolutely favorite places to dine. My blood pressure declines just thinking about eating there!
Great restaurant, great food, service and views of Beverly Hills. Staff very professional one of my favorite places to eat in Beverly Hills
We choose to eat our Easter breakfast here as we don’t need a big buffet. Lovely breakfast and enjoyed the rooftop setting. Excellent service.
It was a really nice and casual family evening. The Roof Garden at the Peninsula is a restaurant to spend an enjoyable evening in a very nice ambiance. The food was very good. We followed the advices of the Maître d’Hotel very good choice. The French Fries were very good.
New chef - new menu - new rave reviews! The salmon over braised vegetable salad = AMAZING!
I have been to the Roof Garden in several o casinos in the past and was v happy w the food and service. This time both were off particularly the service. There was only one other table occupied and several workers but somehow they were not able to take care of us.
The Roof Garden is a special oasis at the top of the hotel surrounded by beautiful greenery and overlooking a stunning pool. The staff is exceptional and the menu has a number of wonderful options. I would highly recommend going there for a Saturday or Sunday brunch.
Loved it! What a beautiful spot. Feels cozy and intimate. Nice menu for breakfast.
Amazing food, perfect location and super calm and relaxing! A hidden gem for sure!
Creatively split orders for us.
The team of people led by a great lady in a blonde ponytail made us feel like royalty, and two wonderful men brought a heater over because ours did not work and saw to our table as well. We have never met such a friendly, charming group of people working like a well-oiled team in a fine restaurant. Yes other restaurants have great service but this was beyond beyond. Our meals and appetizers were terrific -- swordfish, tortilla soup, crab salad, and a burger. Then, after lounging on the rooftop for two hours on Christmas Eve, we went to the lovely tea room for a very late tea and dessert. And even though they were all booked for the next seating at about 8 pm or 8:30 pm, it was only about 7 pm so they seated us in a lovely back table, because we were staying only for dessert and insisted we did not mind if they rearranged furniture nearby. We enjoyed our pear/caramel tea tremendously, not to mention the fantastic flourless brownie with ice cream, and sailed out before the next seating crowd showed up. The bar was packed and created a fun, rousing holiday backdrop. Thank you!!
Absolutely lovely on all levels.
It took forever for us to receive our food. Great environment, de ent service but you can only apologize so many times. Offer a drink, something to reduce our angst.
Service is excelent. Place is small, though it is rooftop but no view to look at 😞
Wonderful and perfect as usual!!!
A seemingly hidden restaurant in the spa area of the hotel. Food and service were both great as you would expect. Pancakes and Lobster salad were standouts!
Swordfish was excellent along with the lobster tossasda. French fries were delicious also
Service here is excellent. The salmon was prepared perfectly. A great way to spend a sunny LA afternoon.
nice rooftop setting w heaters. i had the halibut, it was good but nothing memorable, standard fare. I was expecting something more. good service, good if you are staying at the hotel but would not make a trip there, the rooftop garden at the Waldorf Astoria across the street was a much better experience.
He in was beautiful and he servi mce impeccable. Burger lacked flavor for such a great place
Friendly staff and tasty food in a beautiful setting
A gem up on the roof of the Peninsula Hotel in Beverly Hills. Much more casual than their other dining venues but with equally great food and ambiance. Extensive upscale menu for a pool offering everything from simple dishes (burgers, etc) to the likes of grilled swordfish and roasted chicken. Quiet, casual and relatively secluded, it's a great find in Beverly Hills.
Love this place one of my favourite ways to spend a evening with friends.
Always a delightful treat! One of my daughter’s fave spots!
The restaurant sits on an upper deck of the hotel. The menu was very diverse with lots of healthy options. The service was quick, food well presented, and delicious.
It was overall a lovely evening. Regret we ordered the special BBQ feature as it wasn’t really good. But the setting and service made up for the food. Dessert was delicious.
I usually go to the Rooftop for lunch. This time my husband and I went for a casual dinner.
The service was excellent. The menu perfect because there were so many choices.
I feel lucky to have the hotel in my backyard.
The reception was very friendly and our waitress was funny, relaxed and always had an eye on our table if anything was needed.. we chose the beef steak which was delicious 😎 It's a small rooftop Restaurant in a luxury hotel.. what I would recommend is to decorate the Restaurant more with nice light bulbs or different coloured lights..
Warm and efficient staff and a beautiful setting especially at night. We look forward to returning many times.
Very enjoyable for a lovely summer dinner! Would definitely return.
I had a wonderful experience but the fish I ordered was horribly overcooked and dry
We've been many times. This particular night we all agreed the gazpacho was the best we've ever had. All the food (barbequed ribs, chicken, pulled pork) had the right combination of expectation and surprise. Only complaint was that mains and sides didn't come out together. Staff was great: smiles, knowledgeable, efficient.
Have enjoyed this restaurant several times before and looked forward to returning. Experience was a disappointment. While ample service staff on the floor, actual service was very slow. A bunch of staff were chatting and posed an obstruction for my girlfriend to get to the ladies room. They were clueless and completely unaware of their surroundings. Drinks were not made as requested, food was not served as ordered. No accommodations were made to correct the errors. Management has taken their eye off the ball and it’s completely unexpected and unacceptable in this establishment.
Saw similar decline in service and attention to detail in the lobby bar downstairs. Really a disappointment for a hotel that has set the standard for a great while...
Great variety of food offered. Loved what I ordered and would go back there again soon.
I advised our booking was an anniversary and on arrival, we were led to a private table for 2 in one of the poolside cabanas, very special. Food & wine choices great, prices not unreasonable and staff wonderful
Food and service great.
Relaxed atmosphere, you feel like your not in Los Angeles but away on a beach resort with all the white and yellow umbrellas.
The setting is beautiful, but the service is terrible for a 5 star restaurant.
