Romola's Seafood & Grille
Food was great. Tuna was exceptional. Halibut special was 🔥
Food was excellent
Birthday dinner but have also ordered everyday dinner from them
The service was excellent, food was good, atmosphere was very much in need of a refresher. If we weren’t meeting friends, I would have left after walking in. Thanks goodness the food was good, but based on the atmosphere, I wouldn’t rush back.
We love going to Romola's and our last visit was a great experience. We had an appetizer and 2 entrees that were specials that night. They specialize in seafood and these dishes were excellent with good size portions. They also have entertainment on the second Friday of the month and that added to the wonderful ambience.
Food was excellent. Price was reasonable. Would dine again.
My wife and I went to Romola’s to celebrate our anniversary. We have eaten there a number of times over the years and the food has always been excellent, as it was on our visit the other night. The service is very attentive and the ambiance most enjoyable.
I’ve been here several times & the food has always been excellent. I of those times was for a baby shower. So several courses were served. Again excellent! It’s bring your own so that cuts down on the bill. It’s on the expensive side but worth it. Best part.. they don’t rush you out!
Close to parking. Food was good but too pricey. BOYB is a good feature.
Very good food byob and great service. Would go back for sure
Romola's is one of our most favorite places to dine. The food is amazing. The service is wonderful. We also look forward to the live music.
Romola's is fantastic! Food was outstanding. I had a complex dish and everything was cooked absolutely perfectly with wonderful flavors, deep and balanced. The atmosphere on a Friday night was wonderful with live music that was just perfect. I highly recommend!
Really strange experience. Normally a great dinner choice for us in the past. Main courses were underwhelming, even unpalatable. Appetizer - garlic shrimp - was the best thing we had. Would have preferred to have that as an entree as it was delightful! Kind of frustrating and disappointing given how good they have traditionally been in the past.
Food and service was excellence
The food was good but I expected more for restaurant week dining. The prix fixe menu was their usual 3 course special which has limited days but was available all week. The food portions were skimpy with only 2 small pieces of tuna and one was over cooked and the desert choices were very thin. Their prices are a bit high but the special was average but the meal did not fill you up and left you wishing for a little more. The service was good and the owner walks around checking on the tables but it gets noisy as more people arrive.
My family and I went during Winter Restaurant Week and you had choice off the Pre- Fix Menu - Appy, Main Course and Dessert. I do have to say the portions were disappointing for the price per person they were charging. Despite the poor portions, the food was really good.
This place was nice! Came for restaurant week. The food was good but nothing special. Would come back again and give it another try though.
Food was just ok. Didn't love it. Quality did not match the price
The food was very good the service was great. The waiters were pleasant and friendly. Byob. The chef gave me a different sauce because the sauce that came with the fish had bacon. That was very accommodating. We go back.
Excellent food. Our server Isis was very good. Great experience. Will definitely be back!
The service was sub-par! There wasn’t any attention to detail. It seems like they weren’t able to cope with the Valentine’s evening covers but raised the prices for the same items on the regular menu. No problem but make sure it’s worth it.
First Course Asparagus soup with jumbo lump crab: the soup was room temperature lacking flavor and the crab was microscopic
Octopus dish was great and flavorful but portion wasn’t appealing also a bit oily.
Main Course lobster Ravioli and seafood crepes with spinach.
Ravioli was tasty but they edges were dried out and hard
Seafood crepes were burnt wish threw the flavor way off and the spinach was very dark as if it were sitting under the heat
Dessert was bread pudding. The ice cream was creamy and fresh which was excellent the bread pudding was flavorful but too eggy which cause the texture to be more rubbery. All in all I would like to try this restaurant on another night with no occasion I think they will be a lot better
I made a reservation for 2 for my husband and I for Valentine’s Day dinner. We had never been there and I thought it looked like a pretty restaurant with a good menu. I did not know they are apparently associated with the pizzeria next door which is where we were seated. They tried to make it “romantic” with table clothes and candles but we were still seated in a booth in a pizzeria with paper napkin wrapped silverware and a delivery person continually coming in and out past our table as he made pizza deliveries. The service was good and the food was decent but not spectacular and I thought the prices were a bit high for a BYOB restaurant.
Grilled octopus was great as we're our main courses, macadamia crusted halibut and seafood crepes.
We gave them another chance as last time we were very disappointed but we gave them the benefit of the doubt.
Main dish arrived cold which they reheated and served back 5’ minutes later, likely on microwave!
The quality of the food has gone down dramatically in the past several months (we have been long-term customers) while prices have gone up inversely proportional to quality.
We will never come back again
Food was excellent. The only issue was dessert. We placed our order for dessert, after a long wait 2 of 4 came out, then another long wait for the next 2. It definitely was a negative to the overall dining experience that dessert time was ruined.
This was our first time here. We brought guests. Everyone enjoyed their meal. We started with an appetizer to share. We had two with chicken dishes, one with shrimp and scallops and one had a salad with grilled salmon. Everyone was very pleased with their selections. Service was wonderful. It was lunch time and it was very quiet which we enjoyed. We were so glad our guests enjoyed everything. We will definitely be back.
The ahi tuna tared old and cold when served. Feel like the quality of food has gone down since the restaurant opened.
Real nice restaurant to have a an excellent dinner with your spouse or good friends. Dishes were cooked to perfection and service was stellar. An enjoyable experience!
We love Romola's Seafood and Grille. The food is outstanding in preparation and presentation. The service is outstanding. The Live music is the icing on the cake!
The food was ok. I think they changed the menu. It has less options now. The seafood sea diablo was a little bland and my husbands lamb was terrible, but the steak and fish were good. The restaurant is nice. Mostly an older crowd. I Wish it was a little more lively.
This was a first time for us. Very good selection and preparations. Portions were quite ample. We enjoyed the octopus appetizer, the salmon entrée and the filet mignon. Bananas foster was a hit as well. Service was satisfactory; friendly but not always attentive.
Rubbery calamari, tasteless over cooked shrimp and chicken cutlets that were still red inside, not just once but twice. Finally gave up on the chicken and ordered fish tacos. But was still charged for the more expensive chicken dish. I might have thought that meal would have been complimentary since the rest of us were finished eating by the time the tacos arrived. We were the only guests in the restaurant for lunch and still the food was so poorly prepared. Maybe the emptiness should have bee; the tip off. Do not plan to go here for lunch. Sadly an awful experience.
Our return to Romola's for our PreMidnight New Year's Eve dinner ended the year on a high note. After a brief misunderstanding with our reservation, we were comfortably seated and quickly waited on. The atmosphere was elegant, the menu delightful - the most difficult point was with a meal choice. The fresh shrimp cocktail was accompanied by a perfectly seasoned hot sauce. My sister-in-law Sea Bass was tender and delectable. My Short Rib was served with a flavorful savory gravy.
We will return before the year is over.
We had a wonderful New Years Eve dinner with great friends. The staff was on point and the food was absolutely delicious. As well as the ambiance was lovely.
Our party of 5 went to Romola's for out New Year's Eve for the 2nd time. Even at this hectic, crowded time the service was wonderful, the staff were friendly and efficient. There were tables for 2 and for 10 and all parties were relaxed and comfortable. Everything from bread on the table to dessert and coffee was very timely. It is pricey but worth it. The entire restaurant expeince was 1st class fine dinning !
We had a great time for New Years Eve. Friendly prompt service and great dinner options. Nice that it is a byo
Upscale decor, but casual atmosphere. Quiet enough for conversation. Slightly pricey, but you get food that is easily worth it.
It was our first time there and we didn’t know what to expect. The food and service was amazing as well the prices. I wasn’t aware the restaurant was BYOB, but there’s a great liquor store with a fantastic wine selection only 100 feet away.
