Roma Ristorante - Allentown Ratings and Reviews
We had been at Roma's several times and wanted to introduce friends to this resturant . Unfortunately , this time the wait staff was not on their game. They did not anticipate our simple needs without asking , for example bread, water . Was a Saturday evening, but resturant was not crowded.
We had an awesome family dinner with a pizza loving 3 year old. We all loved our food, our waitress was very attentive to our needs. My husband had the Roma Feast, I had the grilled romaine and chicken salad. Our son had the kids pizza and he loved it!! When we go to Allentown, Roma Ristorante is top on our list!!
Best Italian restaurant in the area. Not cheap, but not overly expensive. Food portions are huge. Great menu for all occasions. Service was 100%. We've been there before & we'll be back. Never have we ever had a bad experience. Great place whether you're in a suit or jeans.
This is one of our "go-to" places for good food and very friendly service. Our favorite is the SPQR salad with a piece of grilled salmon. It is beautifully presented and delicious. Other favorites are the calamari and the eggplant rollatini. Wine and beer selections are good and service is very good.
I think the server was new so there were a few missteps, like forgetting to enter our to-go order, but the few times I've been here, we've been pleased with the food. It's a little pricier than some other Italian restaurants in the area, but it's definitely my first choice.
All of the Grisafi restaurants are really good! I had the chicken over linguine with roasted red peppers, asparagus and lump crab -- delicious! My mother had the homemade Italian wedding soup (always terrific!) and true to form, spaghetti Bolognese (boring, but good). The wait staff is always so pleasant. Have been here many times & will be back again, thank you!
This is a great, family-owned restaurant that serves excellent Italian food that is authentic and delicious. I have dined there many times with both business associates and family. The wait staff is friendly and always courteous.
The food was delicious and piping hot, but service was not as attentive as you would expect. Although our waitress was very friendly, she never refilled the water glass, for example. Would have appreciated fresh parmasian too, rather than from a shaker. But no real complaints and given the delicious and generous portions, we were very happy and would recommend Roma's to a friend.
This was my first visit to Roma and I went with two other people. I would go back but I wouldn't go out of my way to do so. I ordered the pesce alfredo and it was pretty good. One person ordered the crab cakes and didn't like them and the other ordered the chicken parm and said it was good. I thought the chicken looked "thick" and not very appetizing. As for the crab cakes, I would suggest ordering an Italian dish and you will probably enjoy the meal.
Food was delicious but the service was poor. The staff apologized, but we had to hand the dirty dishes on the table to our server in order to have somewhere to put the entree! I don't think it is too much to clear bread and salad plates after 30 minutes. Everyone enjoyed the meals and the food was freshly prepared with accommodations for several special requests/food preferences. Good for casual dining.
We went here for an early Mother's Day dinner. Both my MIL and I have dietary restrictions (Gluten Free and Dairy Free), and the server was extremely helpful in identifying options. The service was great. The food was amazing, and the portions were very big! Thank you for a great experience!
We had an early morning flight out of the Lehigh Valley the next morning, so we decided to go to Roma because it was close to our hotel. Surprisingly, it was a rather quiet Friday night, but the food was quite good. The service was average, no complaints, but no outstanding compliments either. Everyone in our party was happy with their entrees as Roma remains a staple for fresh italian comfort food in the Valley.
