Great food, took very long to order. They were very busy and understaffed, maybe. Seemed to be lots of staff, but took a very long time to get waited on. Then once food came out, they didn’t bring all of them out. The last 2 meals came out after everyone else was almost done! The waiter was very nice, just could’ve been more attentive and communicated about what the hold up was.
Best Pizza in town!!!! Amazing ingredients on a perfect crust! Came down from St Augustine to visit the parents and they took us to Roma Bistro. With so many restaurants to choose from on 5th in Naples, this was the perfect spot to take a small group of family members with kids. The service is friendly, the ambiance is cute and the food is fresh. My kids enjoyed watching them prepare the pizza dough and partaking in which toppings they wanted put on.
The only negative (& I did not deduct for this) is never having chilled bottles of Chardonnay. We’ve been to this restaurant 6 or more times & love the food but every time we have ordered a bottle of wine it was not cold. Otherwise, great place.
Food was very good, however, 2 out of 3 pizzas were not correct and there was definitely a language barrier trying to explain dietary restriction. Chicken Parmesan was excellent.
They were not prepared for the crowd. It’s busy season and we have been down here for years but we waited over an hour for a pizza. They had one many making all the pizzas and he was overwhelmed. They need more staff and servers. The other pasta came out cold because everyone had to wait so long. Upon leaving we were given the wrong check and it happened to another party as well. The party behind us left due to slow service and warm wine. We used to love this place but the service was too slow and the food was good but cold. Disappointing
Was told my hostess that owner does not check. Open Table reservations and they did not have ours when we arrived. I'd suggest calling the restaurant directly.
Pizzas where very good, very loud music and not ambient friendly
Our Italian waitress was fantastic.
Sitting on 5th with a wonderful selection of pizza and pasta served by a great staff. You cannot go wrong. We only get to Naples one week per year but we dedicate two nights to Roma Bistro for great pizza, relaxation and people watching on beautiful 5th.
Roma is a small restaurant, and informal -- not a white tablecloth kind of place. But the food is absolutely superb. My wife had fresh Snapper Piccata style and it was perfect. I had lasagna and it was as good as any I've had anywhere.
Looking at the other dishes being served around the restaurant gave me the impression that everything coming out of that small kitchen is absolutely top notch. Reservations suggested, or come early. By 7 pm the place was packed.
Total bill was about half what I would expect for the same quality of food at a "white tablecloth" kind of place.
