Great variety of Japanese fusion food. Our favorites were the calamari, baked cod, and roasted cauliflower
My favorite place !
Had a birthday dinner here with friends. Food was excellent, good variety, and overall had a good time. Sadly, this place is not worth the cost. Small portions for a group of 6 guys does not work out well. We shelled out over 100 per person and left hungry :(
service & food were really great
Lovely restaurant with exceptionally friendly and professional wait staff. The food was delicious. Hope to have the opportunity to come again next time we visit LA!
Sorry, Roku - you have lost your ability to produce fusion asian food - your patrons seem to be more interested in drinking heavily and ordering nothing but sushi rolls. Service was OK - but spotty. Had to ask for plates to be cleared more than once. Calamari was cool to touch and soggy. Kicker was an order of karaage chicken - that came out in full sized pieces American style - as if KFC were an acceptable version. We couldn't eat it.
Great atmosphere - great DJ - but the concept has become sloppy and without any concern to remain true to what we were told when it opened on Sunset.
Thank you for an amazing dinner
Thank you Sushi Chef Hiro for an excellent dinner & phenomenal service! Highly recommend. I’ll be back Roku Fam.
The food was great. The servers were so nice and helpful. It was a great experience overall and we will definitely be back!
Outstanding service, food was delicious drinks are very delicious.
I love Sushi Roku! Such good food, beautiful ambiance and attentive service.
The lunch special is great; I highly recommend the brussel's sprouts!
Happy Hour is a treat with a wonderful sampling of food at a reasonable price. Service always shines there. Shout out to Nate who always takes great care of us!
Good place, food took a long time to come though.
Service was very slow. Asked three times to turn on the heat lamp. After not stopping at the table for 15 min the server finally asked if there was anything else we wanted. We informed her we never received our lobster noodle dish. She returned giggling letting us know that it had been sitting in the window the whole time. It was not hot and the lobster was like rubber. Obviously we had to ask to have it taken off the check.
I typically have a wonderful dining experience. This particular time it took almost an hour for the food to come out and after 40 mins of waiting, I was told they were out of some of what we ordered. The waitress was very kind but I will think twice about making a reservation on a weekend night.
Food is killer. Service, not so much.
Roku was a very pleasant experience. It's very nice when you can eat dinner at a restaurant and enjoy the entire experience. Julianna was very friendly, attentive and professional.
Always good service and great food. Definitely love it. We come at least 3 times a month.
I only ordered sushi and a California roll and it took over an hour. The food was ok but I expected a lot better for the price!
Meeting someone for lunch, host checked us both in under the same reseravation - but sat us at different tables. No apology was offered.
Terrible service, waitress had an attitude and they brought all the appetizers to wrong table so we waited 40 min with no food on table and for main course before even a miso soup. I would not go back
Regular table for six (not teppanyaki). Ordered a lot of small plates, one steak and some sushi to share. All of the plates were very small, not enough for more than two people to have a few bites. The steak was overcooked and had a sweet sauce. The lobster noodles were overcooked and had a sweet sauce. The toro sushi was good but $40 for four pieces. Dinner for four adults and two kids was just under $600 including the tip and everyone left hungry. Nice looking place, friendly reception, good service, full of young people who apparently are not interested in good food.
The service was horrible. The food was not good. The robata was very salty and many of the dishes were too fishy. The quality was lacking. The service was awful. We received all of our food at once even though we told the server to spread it out. Experience was not good
Sucked. Bad food. bad Service. DO NOT recommend
The food was good, the ambiance was sexy but the service wasn’t the best. Our waiter was very nice but very slow for getting little things like a straw, gluten free soy sauce and we also ordered a second hand roll and didn’t receive it so we had to ask for it after 20 min.
ROKU is consistently delicious. The service is attentive, the menu is inventive. Order lots of small plates to share with your friends! Love it!
Though EXTREMELY expensive (495.00 with tip for 4), the food is sensational and the service is grand!
ROKU continues to deliver fabulous food on a consistent basis… We stopped in for happy hour and where impressed with the array of choices and incredible drinks on the menu… Definitely check it out!
Was such an amazing experience eating at the sushi bar for our Omakase. The chefs are super attentive to detail, and each dish was different from the next. As pricey as it may be, it's definitely an one-of-a-kind experience.
They took great care of us. The servers and staff were friendly, on top of it and hospitable! The food was delicious and the cocktails were perfect! The only small issue was that it was a bit cold at the beginning in the restaurant because we were sitting close to the entrance. But they brought in heaters and rectified that right away. Overall, great experience.
Food was amazing. Service was mediocre but it was New Year’s Eve and the restaurant was crowded.
Terrible service, mediocre and overpriced food. Lacking class. A real letdown.
Although the quality of the sushi was good, we were sat in a corner and received poor service - which was by the outside wall and very cold. Food came out at different times and seemed overpriced for our experience.
Overall positive experience. Food could have been hotter. Short staffed, bartender served us in the restaurant.
Wonderful as always. Wagu potstickers are amazing!
Sushi was great quality but expensive, cocktails were average and pricey, would stick with sake next time, seems more of a date spot
the best sushi in LA! and the best chef Mr.Jiro! I've been to this restaurant so many times, never let me down,
Great food and fun ambiance
