It was okay. Had the sea bass and half of it was mush.
Ordered a split of sparkling and got a very small bottle
Service was okay too.
JUST THE PERFECT PLACE EITHER FOR BUSINESS OR REGULAR DINING
Always love it!
ONE OF THE BEST PLACES IN TOWN...EASY TO GET TO. FOOD IS OUTSTANDING
We were in town for a conference . Our waitress was wonderful, but we were seated downstairs near the bar. It was extremely hot and we were seated in a circular booth (7 people). Really??? I had reserved this restaurant about 2 months ago. One of the people in the group ordered lamb. He got 2 tiny lamb chops for $46.
Quiet corner table and soft music playing. We knew the food would be great and it was. But we were pleasantly surprised by the setting.
Excellent service and manager attitude is getting better
Terrific meal. We are downstairs at a small table in the bar-basement, which had a cozy, dark, Old-World dining feel complete with imported Dutch timbers in the ceiling. Our waiter was knowledgeable, attentive, and personable, without being intrusive. The downstairs bar was lively but did not preclude good conversation. The Rokerij steak was delicious and perfectly cooked. Our best meal on our Scottsdale vacation!
personal, attentive, knowledgable waitstaff. warm, cozy atmosphere inside, great covered patio seating outside. food is inventive, varied menu, all delicious. love this place. will always keep going back!
Family get together.
Our waiter Perry was awesome! Food great, only complaint is enchiladas were a little burned on top.
Our server was very , but she always took time when she got to the table. We had a party of four. all the food was excellent and the portions were large. We sat near the bar so the noise level was high. Valet parking was efficient. We took our guests downstairs to see the "basement" bar which they found interesting.
My daughter and I are in town for a bday trip. I used to live in Phoenix and Rokerij was one of my faves, so I wanted to take her to experience this restaurant with their special ambiance and amazing food.
We were seated in the basement, yay!!! Loved the fire and he candles. So gorgeous.
We had the salmon bites appetizer (cooked perfectly), and the glazed Chilean sea bass with broccoli and sweet potato stuffed jalapeño. All was absolutely as I remember it- amazing.
Amazing, as always. Our favorite restaurant in Arizona! Cozy, super delicious food, relaxing, soft, low lighting. The downstairs bar is the best...great music and lovely fireplace. Take someone special...you are sure to have a wonderful night!
This was not the Rokerij's finest afternoon. We’ve been a few times for brunch and dinner, but our experience on Sunday was very disappointing. We had a party of 6. Short story is it took us 46 minutes to get our food from the time we ordered. When the order came, one dish was prepared completely wrong, another dish was missing the tortillas, and another dish had the wrong eggs on it. The kitchen redid the dish that was completely wrong, and when it arrived the main issue had been corrected, but it was served with the wrong potatoes. So after all of that you might think they would at least say “hey sorry we screwed up TWICE, we’re not going to charge you for that one dish.” Nope, the server just blamed the whole incident on the new expediter. Is this a management issue, an ownership issue, who knows. I guess the lesson is, if you go and everything is great, you’ll have a fine meal. If there’s problems....you’re on you own.
Best restaurant in Phoenix. People are friendly, attentive and on point . Been going here for 20+ years and it just keeps getting better and better.
It was out valentine dinner. We had two appetizers and drinks and could not eat dinner - too full.
Lovely place with very goos service
We like Rokerij very much and go quite often.
This last time, the hostess screwed up our reservation and
was not accommodating us to resolve HER mistake.
We were really surprised that it was handled in such an unprofessional way.
Given that we are regulars at Dicks & Rokerij...but mainly
because it was her fault and she took zero responsibility.
Holly , who is terrific, took it in her hands to rectify the issue, but was limited
in what she could do.
It was a disappointing experience for us given the high regard we have for it
Great atmosphere and service. I had the Carne Adovada and it was excellent! Also the portions were very large. My daughter enjoyed her enchiladas too?
Food is always great. Tenderloin Toasts are a great way to start. The sliders are excellent as well.
Reservation was at 8pm, seated at 8:45.
Awesome food and great location (downstairs at Richardson's). I want to go back. Pizza's are great and Prime Rib sliders are a hit with that sauce.
Sammy our waitress was terrific. She was personable and attentive. The bone-in prime rib was one of the best in town. The portion is big enough for three meals. And like that is comes with a potato and vegetable. I suggest that the restaurant note on the menu that entrees come with salad. Our party didn’t know and was surprised when a server showed up at our table with them. The elephant garlic appetizer was unique and tasty too. Looking forward to our next dining experience this restaurant.
Awesome like always
The meals were all delicious and it was so fun to have a waitress who was so excited about the meals they were serving!
Best food and ambiance for the price, fun and real fireplaces!
The food is amazing. We've been coming here for over a decade. I first called and left a message and nobody returned my call so I booked our reservation online. This is the second time I have tried to book a table in the basement for an event. Both times when I arrived with my group they told me I was going to be sitting upstairs. I'm guessing this is a common issue that people believe when making the reservation they are going to be down stairs because the manager could have cared less that we were upset. I also received a text with the wrong time so I had to call and I verified again where we would be sitting with a live person. If only customer service were as good as the food this would be a 5 star review.
We had friends from out of town. Had a great dinner and our waitress was the best! The food is great! Loved it.
Food was fantastic...Service was terrible. They were slow and unresponsive, often leaving us with empty drinks for 20-30 minutes. Asked for sour cream when ordered, again when food was delivered, and again when the Manager came to our table to apologize for the long wait. Never did see that sour cream.
Food was good tho.
Excellent, excelente, fabulous, fabulosa, delicious, delicioso. You won’t regret it. Go hungry. A wide range of from comfort to spicy to in between.
I saw the place on TV show and it looked very good. I asked my sister to dinner there. She loved it. She thought the food was real good. We will be back soon Maybe on another special occasion. Thank You, the service was very good also. Dione korakis
Service was stellar. HAVE to enjoy the blackened scallops (Al dente & huge). Their crusted Sea Bass melted in our mouths. That’s a sample of what we enjoyed and any menu item is dynamite esp. the slow roasted pork items. Love this place!!!
The table in the corner was amazing in the basement and the dinner we had was superb!
I find the interior rooms dark so I always sit outside. It’s a lovely courtyard. The food is good and plentiful.
Excellent Prime Rib with healthy portion.
Excellent experience with a very nice variety of menu items. Our family enjoyed the experience.
Brunch for bday
We’ve dined at The Rokerji numerous times over several years and have enjoyed our meals and experience. But something has gone off the rails. Our party of 4 would all endorse the New Mexico sausages as a starter, but then things started to go wrong. Both the trout entree and the swordfish were grilled to blackenedness, which was not as they should be. The cauliflower sides also were blackened. The Mahi got a pass, as did the pork adovada. Wine was good, although our first choice was unavailable. Service was spotty, to say the least. The noise level was way too high for such a small space. None of us was in a mood to return. Too many other choices where the fundamentals are more faithfully observed.
We are frequent diners at Rokerij and Richardson's...they never disappoint.
