Reserved a table the day prior, but when we arrived we were told our table was taken but the customers would be leaving shortly. Sat and waited for 20 minutes and one of the servers asked the customers if they were done and that the table was needed. The customers refused to leave. We were seated at a bar table. That part of the evening sucked as it wasnt the start of a celebration I was looking for. Food was great...as usual. Waiter even gave us a song on his harmonica. Overall was a great night, but reservations should be taken more seriously by the staff.

Good selection to choose from. Bacon wrapped jalapeños and blackened scallops were great. Prime Rib sliders weren’t very flavorful. Au ju was greasy and very little flavor. Nice atmosphere. They didn’t seem to care that we were celebrating a birthday. Decided to just stick with the appetizers and move on to another restaurant.

Solid meal for an Anniversary. Sat in the cellar for 2. Service was good, food was good - best part was the ambiance! My only 2 cons - Nothing was done for our Anniversary which I clearly marked while making the reservation. Also, I wish we would have known to only order an app and share an entree because the portions were so large. The bill was very high and we ended taking home too much food - we rarely eat leftovers...

I don’t even know where to begin... Harry our server, and I believe the bartender, as well was outstanding! He was so attentive which is why I can’t imagine he was also the bartender but I saw him behind the bar several times mixing drinks. My fiancé and I don’t drink many mixed drinks or cocktails but really wanted something different and we just couldn’t make up our minds. Harry suggested an amazing cocktail for me and told my fiancé he would just surprise him. My fiancé is extremely indecisive but Harry was very patient running through suggestions with him until he told him he’d just surprise him. Harry hit the mark on both our cocktails. He made my fiancé a Crush cocktail, as he called it, and Harry really did crush it! I think he ended up ordering 2 or 3 of them! (We weren’t driving). Harry had us laughing and really enjoying ourselves. He even suggested some items that weren’t on the menu. It really felt like he knew us and was able to dial into our tastes and needs. The busser, I never caught his name was also wonderful that night. He was hilarious and so friendly. He also had us laughing. They were a great team! Everything came out perfect and as described and the timing was perfect. We were there for my birthday and Harry even treated me to some Specials. At the end of our meal my mother ordered a coffee and once we had paid our check the coffee was brought out with an apology that there was a miscommunication and it would be removed from the bill. We hadn’t even noticed and felt it was no issue at all. We still planned to drink and pay for it but that was not satisfactory to Harry. The bill had already been paid so Harry handed us cash straight from his pocket to pay for it and apologized profusely. Obviously, we refused to take his money. We still had the coffee and we’re all talkers so it was no inconvenience we were going to be there a little longer anyhow. I just can’t rave enough about how wonderful the service, ambiance and food was! Best birthday!

Like the downstairs to hang out for a drink and appetizer. Not large but fun to sit in the basement atmosphere. Went uptairs for dinner, food was good and looks like it would be fun to sit on the patio.

Delicious as always. Great food, atmosphere, service. Would be great if they offered more in the way of vegetarian and vegan options (we have several friends who do not dine here with us due to such limited options). We continue to come here with other friends and family every time we are in Phoenix. The seafood is fantastic!

We were in town for a conference . Our waitress was wonderful, but we were seated downstairs near the bar. It was extremely hot and we were seated in a circular booth (7 people). Really??? I had reserved this restaurant about 2 months ago. One of the people in the group ordered lamb. He got 2 tiny lamb chops for $46.

Terrific meal. We are downstairs at a small table in the bar-basement, which had a cozy, dark, Old-World dining feel complete with imported Dutch timbers in the ceiling. Our waiter was knowledgeable, attentive, and personable, without being intrusive. The downstairs bar was lively but did not preclude good conversation. The Rokerij steak was delicious and perfectly cooked. Our best meal on our Scottsdale vacation!

Our server was very , but she always took time when she got to the table. We had a party of four. all the food was excellent and the portions were large. We sat near the bar so the noise level was high. Valet parking was efficient. We took our guests downstairs to see the "basement" bar which they found interesting.

My daughter and I are in town for a bday trip. I used to live in Phoenix and Rokerij was one of my faves, so I wanted to take her to experience this restaurant with their special ambiance and amazing food.
We were seated in the basement, yay!!! Loved the fire and he candles. So gorgeous.

We had the salmon bites appetizer (cooked perfectly), and the glazed Chilean sea bass with broccoli and sweet potato stuffed jalapeño. All was absolutely as I remember it- amazing.

This was not the Rokerij's finest afternoon. We’ve been a few times for brunch and dinner, but our experience on Sunday was very disappointing. We had a party of 6. Short story is it took us 46 minutes to get our food from the time we ordered. When the order came, one dish was prepared completely wrong, another dish was missing the tortillas, and another dish had the wrong eggs on it. The kitchen redid the dish that was completely wrong, and when it arrived the main issue had been corrected, but it was served with the wrong potatoes. So after all of that you might think they would at least say “hey sorry we screwed up TWICE, we’re not going to charge you for that one dish.” Nope, the server just blamed the whole incident on the new expediter. Is this a management issue, an ownership issue, who knows. I guess the lesson is, if you go and everything is great, you’ll have a fine meal. If there’s problems....you’re on you own.

We like Rokerij very much and go quite often.
This last time, the hostess screwed up our reservation and
was not accommodating us to resolve HER mistake.
We were really surprised that it was handled in such an unprofessional way.
Given that we are regulars at Dicks & Rokerij...but mainly
because it was her fault and she took zero responsibility.
Holly , who is terrific, took it in her hands to rectify the issue, but was limited
in what she could do.
It was a disappointing experience for us given the high regard we have for it
