Had a reservation but were seated at the worst table back in the corner. Need to put something on the walls or blackboard. Hostess unable to move us but I will make sure we are not seated there again.
Always good especially when you get good service from Annie.
Unique delicious food. A valley treasure. A must try in Phoenix.
Always awesome dining experience. Our server Stephanie was excellent. We enjoy bringing our friends and family here .
Great food- HUGE portions so we should have split. Had to take a lot home.
Meal took quite awhile; so bring your patience- waiter apologized several times.
Food is amazing as always.
Very loud rude man drinking at the bar watching the football game, right by our table. He was very aggressive, used profanity and NOT one employee ever addressed it. We could not talk over his frequent outbursts and running commentary......the bar tender or manager should have addressed it, very upsetting for your other customers. On top of this service was horrible, I had to actually go find our waitress after being seated one hour to place our order. Service continued to be slow. We were hosting guests from out of town and were embarrassed by the whole evening.
It was my birthday which was on the reservation but not a word was mentioned by our server or the restaurant itself. Not even a mention about a birthday dessert. Plus when we got home we were charged for an app that was not ordered. I think these shortfalls were the servers fault. This was our 6th time there with family and or business associates and it was disappointing.
Rokerij Is not inexpensive, but is by far, the best value in the Valley. Fresh, hot, unique, individualized meals. Great service, too.
Great atmosphere - small but not crowded or stuffy. We ordered a couple of appetizers to share and waiter was very thoughtful to tell us that each came with three pieces and since there were four of us would we like him to add a fourth. That's good service! They had a large number of excellent evening entree specials that were in addition to the menu. Three of our party of four went with different specials and were not at all disappointed. Portions are huge but they are great about boxing the left-overs to take home. It had been a couple of years since we had been there and it was even better than we remembered - we'll be back.
Has been my favorite restaurant, but for the first time, I was a disappointed. They mixed up my reservation. The second bottle of red wine was very cold. My $50.00 bone in ribeye was THIN! I will not give up on my old time favorite, but........
Always enjoy. Drinks excellent. My husband had Rokerij steak. He loved it. I had scallops. Delicious. I love their crossover menu with Richardsons but enchos were way to spicy last time. I'll try again.
Such amazing food and service. But, it is a loud dining room. Totally worth it.
Had a family brunch with my 86 year-old mom. She has trouble hearing in loud places, so we were happy with the quieter nature of this place. Even with a table of 6, nothing was lost in our conversation. The service was attentive without being intrusive. The food for brunch was fantastic. Portions are VERY generous, so order with care.
It was fantastic Soutwest Delight! I will always refer my executives to Rockerji for a true experience!
The downstairs bar was nice- very casual and intimate. Drinks were great- liked the peach old fashioned. Steaks were great- and twice baked potato wonderful. Vegetables struggled- green beans perfectly cooked but cold- Brussels sprouts burned on outside but undercooked inside. Didn't have time for dessert. Will definitely come back. Table in back wasn't too loud.
The staff from the host, bartenders, and wait staff were fantastic. The Rokerij is always a favorite to celebrate my birthday because it seem to never disappoint. Drinks, appetizers, and main courses were tremendous. Megan our server made us feel welcome and truly made my birthday a memorable event.
Food was good. I don’t like to have to use a flashlight when at a restaurant or have to yell across a table to talk to people.
Amazing atmosphere and food. It's fairly expensive, but definitely worth it every once in a while.
Per usual the food was some of the best in the valley. More families/children dining which was unexpected and made for a louder experience than normal, but still well worth it.
Brunch was absolutely amazing! I can't remember his name but our server (a tall gentleman with blond hair) and his trainee were super knowledgable and patient with us. They helped us decide on our plates (it was our first time) and he even put a candle in our creme brûlée for my boyfriend's birthday. The food was DELICIOUS and I had literally the best steak and eggs of my life. The margaritas were perfect and they used house-made mix. We were seated downstairs at an intimate little table in the corner. I seriously couldn't ask for a better spot. The vibe is dark and romantic, we will absolutely be back!
Always come for the food and have never left disappointed. Service was off this visit as kitchen delivered food to several patrons who came in and ordered after us. Waiter never came by to advise and when questioned, did not offer any explanation or contrition. That being said, when food did finally arrive, it was great as usual.
First visit to celebrate our anniversary. Pleasantly surprised at how nice everything was. We arrived early, so we went downstairs to the cozy, romantic and dimly lit bar before being seated for a wonderful and tasty dinner.
We will be back and I highly recommend for a truly romantic experience.
We made our bi monthly visit and as always everything was perfect except for our server. First time we have ever had someone who was genuinely terrible at her job... hope she gets the hang of it though... she was very sweet.
Food is always excellent. Joel, our server, knows us by name and delivers our drinks without even having to ask what we want. This is our go-to restaurant for entertaining friends, celebrations and for once a week outings.
The food, service, and ambiance were wonderful.
We have been frequent patrons of Richards and Rokerij for a couple of decades now. On rare occasion do we ever get stuck with a below average server (usually because they don't have below average servers on staff). Unfortunately during this visit we were stuck with one and he was very disengaged and non-social. Staff will make or break the overall dinning experience which it did during this visit.
I love Rokerij! The service is unparalleled and the food and ambiance are great. This was the third time we dined here and it was consistently good. My husband and friends had the fish special, which they loved. I had the chili rellanos, which were fantastic; my only complaint/feedback is that the dish was way too salty. I loved the heat - physical and spicy - perfection!
The Rokerij is one of the most unique restaurants in Phoenix! The food is always perfect and the service is over the top!
Excellent New Mexican food and fresh fish. Great place to have dinner.
I took my wife for her birthday. We have been there before and loved our first experience. Unfortunately, on this special occasion the experience was unforgettable for negative reasons. we sat outside in the patio area, where maybe 20-30 patrons were there eating dinner. I guess management wasn’t paying attention that well because there was one servicer for the whole time. They totally set him up for failure. It wasn’t his fault, but service took FOREVER. They messed up our appetizer, forgot to ask the chef on gluten free options, and in all spent over two hours dealing with this. I did not seek out management, even thought the server advised me I should. I was very disappointed with this particular experience and I don’t know if we will be back again
Booths are super uncomfortably and so is all the seating at both restaurant and outside
Amazing food.. beef stroganoff southwest style was amazing!!!
Everything about our visit was amazing. The food is delicious and our server Stephanie was so good.
Rokerij never disappoints! We love bringing friends and out of town company here. Great for date night too! The Rokerij steak is amazing and my husband LOVES the bacon wrapped jalepenos. We have ordered almost everything on the menu over the past few years and everything is delicious. Wait staff is fabulous!
That was one of the best restaurants that I have been to excellent service most delicious cuisine I am definitely returning and referring others. Bon appetit
Any of the Richardson's group is our favorite in town. We usually go to Dick's Hideaway, but needed a space for a child and Rokerij is a little easier for that. Food is fantastic. Cannot say enough good things.
Always enjoy The Rokerij. Service and food are always very good and consistent. The downstairs is really unique and cozy. Try the garlic plate - delicious!!
Dined early downstairs. Quiet and very comfortable. Adam was a great server added to the great food. Wine was good at the appropriate temperature. Always love their margaritas. Great place
A birthday that was never addressed!
