Three chops of free range Australian lamb twice grilled with roasted garlic mint demi-glace. Chef Rodney has been featured twice in Southern Living Magazine for this recipe
Ultimate barrel cut filet is slow and naturally aged, expertly trimmed. The result is a melt in your mouth, fork-tender delectable flavor
Panko crusted grouper is flash fried which adds a twist to a traditional favorite sauce of white wine, lemon juice and capers
Fantastic food, service, and drinks. 10/10 would recommend for a nice family dinner
Food was delicious. Wait staff were helpful, knowledgeable and very courteous.
Mixed drinks were watered down . Cowboy Rib-eye cooked per request but outside charred. No flavor. $177 dollar meal for 2. Will not be back.
My husband and I celebrated our ninth anniversary with dinner. We started with a baked brie with shrimp, followed by a roasted veggie salad and block cut strip with a peppercorn sauce and brussel sprouts. When we arrived, we had confetti on our table and a card signed by the restaurant. We love going to Rodney's when we have a chance to. The personal touches and great service and food is so worth it.
This is our second time dining at Rodney's while visiting Lexington. We eaten at a number of great restaurants in the area, but Rodney's has become our favorite. The combination of drinks, food and service is off the charts. We started with the artichoke dip, and shared the house salad (which was definitely farm-to-table). My wife enjoyed the grouper and I had the tuna special(cooked to perfection. The specialty cocktail list hailed a fall creation, mulled over maple, while I opted for the Rodney's Old Fashion. Just a super experience. Our server Julie was just amazing. She waited on us last time, and remembered our order back then! her enthusiasm and joy, pervaded the entire experience. Ask for her! But all the servers are great there. The venue is really nice as well, an old home remodeled to give you a warm dining experience. Go to Rodney's you wont regret it!
The little extra touch of birthday confetti on the table and the happy birthday card from the chef were very nice touches for my dad’s 71st birthday.
Always wonderful- been to Rodneys quite a number of times, food is incredible , never got a meal we would rate less than a 5
My friend Kevin and I enjoyed an outstanding dinner at Rodney’s on Broadway. The food was exquisite and the service was superb. Chef Jones was kind enough to stop by the table to say hello. Thank you to everyone for a memorable dinner!
Rodneys is the best upscale restaurant in Kentucky. We have been dining there for 10 years and have always been super satisfied.
Absolutely outstanding. The food was incredible and the service was the best we’ve experienced in a long time. Highly recommend.
The bread and olive oil dip were the delicious beginning of our meal. We enjoyed salads, lamb chops, sole, filet, and grouper, along with a fine Malbec. Erica was a wonderful server, and added to our enjoyment. Rodney checked on us when we finished, and it was nice to see him again. A very pleasant evening was had by all.
Food was not Chef quality for such high ranked restaurant. The meal wasn’t any better than a chain restaurant using food service ingredients. Service and atmosphere was great but food was lack luster in taste and presentation
Good experience, would recommend. Impressed Rodney came out of the kitchen to meet us, food was good. My date was even better!
Great food and service. Loved the house!
The food was amazing, the staff was incredibly helpful and kind. I love how everything is made homemade by Rodney and his wife. 20/10 would recommend to anyone.
The minute I walked in I knew I was going to love this place! Elegant dining and superb service. The food was incredible and fun craft cocktails. Highly recommend!!
Beautiful dining areas
What more could you ask for in a fine dining experience. 👍
Unbelievable! Everything was perfect! Wonderful southern hospitality and did you just can't stop talking about! Love, love, love this restaurant and the people!
Unforgettable experience! We have eaten in castles and have dined extensively throughout the United States. If you are in the Lexington, KY area and are looking for a fine dining experience with a romantic ambiance (provided from the 1840 house the restaurant is in) go to Rodney's. We started with toasted ravioli with fresh marinara that was divine, followed by caprese salad with heirloom tomatoes and fresh, creamy burrata cheese and a balsamic dressing that left us in amazement. The steaks were phenomenal. We had a filet and a bone in ribeye. The sauces were spectacular. So grateful we found Chef Rodney in Georgetown. We would have missed out on the best dining experience we ever had. Our server, Laura, was kind, helpful and truly a joy. Our table was decorated for our anniversary, and they gave us an anniversary card. Chef Rodney came out and mingled with his guests. Where else could you go and have this kind of foodie heaven? Don't miss out on this place! A gem in Georgetown! Thank you, Chef, Elizabeth and staff for an incredible dining experience we will never forget!
Visited for our anniversary dinner. Everything was delicious, and the customer service was phenomenal! We recommend the pork shoulder and the carrot cake!
We live in Seneca SC and whenever we are traveling, we go out of our way to make Rodney’s on Broadway our dining stop! Five Stars each and every time!
The Chef Rodney took the time to ask us how the meal was! and was the service to our expectations. They really did exceed our expectations with quality food and service …. You absolutely need to eat here you will not be disappointed. Ken & Jill from Wisconsin.
Never disappoints! Everything was excellent! My biggest issue was deciding which entree to choose. I went w/ the short ribs which were great! My favorite restaurant by far... If this were in Lexington, I'd eat there twice a week.
100% pleases with our celebration. Julie was our server and she is personable and makes the best recommendations. Food was spot on. My wife got the shrimp and scallops and I had to steal some shrimp. I had the filet ….. perfectly cooked. When we were almost finished up, Rodney came out and chatted. Very kind and genuine. This is out go to spot for special occasions.
The food is consistently good! Fresh seasonal ingredients and they make their delicious deserts in house. Rodneys is excellent dining!
Foodies in Kentucky take note, the culinary experience of a lifetime awaits you in Georgetown Kentucky at Rodney’s on Broadway. My wife and I have enjoyed periodic date nights at Rodney’s over the past few years. We both love the food and dining experience so much we do not think twice anymore about the 45 minute drive to Georgetown. Chef Rodney’s food is that delicious and his preparations and presentations are inspired. All menu items are prepared fresh at Rodney’s. You will not anything frozen or canned here. This past visit, we enjoyed a savory baked Brie with herbs, shrimp, and almonds. Neither of us were sure whether or not we would enjoy a savory Brie, but all of those combined and complemented each other beautifully. The Caprese salad zinged with fresh heirloom tomatoes and creamy unctuous burrata cheese. The Caesar salad dressing was full of umami and garlic flavor. My wife was bowled over about how fresh the bolognese sauce tasted on her pasta dish. Instead of using canned San Mariano tomatoes, Chef Rodney opted to use fresh Roma tomatoes. The result was a Bolognese sauce that easily surpassed the flavor of our own homemade version. The skin Chef Rodney is able to get on his duck dish is the best preparation of duck I have ever tasted. It is so crispy, light, and rich at the same time it just melts in your mouth. The port wine cherry reduction is the perfect complement to the decadent duck meat and is my favorite dish at Rodney’s. The cocktails are also made with the same high attention to detail as the food and taste just as decadent. The service is also superb. The servers are passionate about describing Chef Rodney’s latest specials and attentive to your every need. Desserts are also homemade and worth you saving enough room for them, which is a hard thing to do when you dine at Rodney’s. You will pay a bit more for the experience here than other places, but it is well worth it.
Wonderful meal all around.
Scallop special delicious, filet mignon cooked perfectly.
Duck was great as well.
Staff and chef Rodney most pleasant
Took clients from out of town and had a wonderful meal. The experience was really neat for first time guests.
Our party of four had the scallops and shrimp, duck and filet…all were delicious!! Beautiful setting! Delightful server..Stacy! We will return.
Wonderful food with excellent friendly and attentive service. Tip of the hat to chef Rodney and our super server Julie!
Awesome food and service. Will definitely be returning in the future.
Very enjoyable - service was outstanding and everyone was so pleasant. Parking is limited. I had looked forward to the lamb chops, which were good; but not outstanding. Our other entrees were excellent. Lovely special atmosphere - perhaps a bit noisy, but will recommend and come again when in Georgetown.
Fantastic food and atmosphere as well as service. Recommended for special occasions.
I highly recommend Rodney’s! It offers an incredible upscale menu. We had the Maine Lobster appetizer in cream sauce and it was the absolute best we’ve ever had! I had the diver sea scallops and shrimp in cream sauce and they were outstanding! Love the menu, so many delicious options. All prime beef, pork, lamb and many seafood options. Love the cocktails and desserts especially the white chocolate raspberry cake. The restaurant is located in a restored house and has a great bar, separate dining rooms as well as outdoor seating. We make the drive from Northern KY and it’s so worth the trip.
So enjoyed our evening out.
The birthday card was a nice touch to a splendid evening
We will definitely be returning
Easy drive to get there
We are from Tennessee and just happened to get dinner reservations at Randolph’s on Broadway to celebrate my 69th. It was wonderful to have a nice quiet and enjoyable evening. Highly recommend
We have been to Rodney’s 4 times for different special occasions & it has been outstanding every single time! The food is always delicious. Rodney’s will forever be our go to for a special dinner.
Actually 5 stars are not quite enough. What a surprise and pleasure to find such excellent food, and friendly personal service ..and all this in such charming atmosphere. I will be back soon .
