This was our second time at Rodizio Grill and we already can’t wait to go back. I took my parents here for my birthday and they are still raving about it. The service is wonderful and the food is incredible. I’ve never experienced such a well rounded place, and the price is unbeatable.
We have been to Rodizio every year near Christmas for the past three years. This year the meat quality was not as good as previous years - beef was tougher, pork & chicken were fatty. There was only one small pork item - no pork tenderloin. There were three selections wrapped in bacon - all seemed undercooked.
We were very disappointed. A group of us get together every 3 months and have a guys night dinner, and usually do a Brazilian steakhouse. We specifically chose Rodizio for this outing because of the wild game month that was advertised.
The three special menu items were frog legs, wild boar, and a spicy elk/bison sausage. These were in addition the the regular menu.
I understand that it was a Monday night, and after thanksgiving, so it was slow. But, the additional menu items were a bust.
The frog legs were over done and dried out. We had to specifically ask for the wild boar (my #1 favorite last time there was wild game month) multiple times. Finally, one skewer was brought and it was very small. The 6 of us wiped out that skewer, and longed for more. The sausage was not even available, as we were told it was “out”.
In addition, the majority of the steak options were a little overcooked, especially near the end of the night. We all like medium rare beef, but most was medium-well to well done and we couldn’t even eat it.
After this experience, we are definitely looking at other alternatives for our next guys night.
There are lots of places that offer lots of food or really good food, but this a rare place that offers both. It's all-you-can-eat, high quality food cooked perfectly. The salad bar alone is worth the price of admission, but for a little more you can get all the rotisserie meats you want. The service is always friendly, fast and attentive and the decor and music give the place a genuine Brazilian feel.
My wife and I had been there some months ago with friends, but my Granddaughter wanted to go for her birthday. The seven of us thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Service was attentive without being intrusive, the food was the star, even our picky eaters were happy and full.
I loved my night out with my husband here. He is a big steak eater and loved everything he ate. However, he wished there were more beef options that came around. I loved all the chicken I tried, and the whitefish was okay. I wish there were more seafood options. The sides were pretty good. Overall, I would definitely go back. The waiters were awesome, super friendly and helpful.
After we were seated, it took over 15 minutes for someone to come to our table and take our drink order and explain how everything worked. It turns out the problem was with the front of the restaurant and no one had let our server know that there was someone seated at her table. That being said, our waitress was very friendly and we got free desserts for the inconvenience of waiting. The food was good, nice salad bar. When we were leaving we noticed again a group of servers / greeters (not sure ) huddled at the front having a lively conversation with each other which leads me to believe they were not really paying attention to the customers. I feel this place would do much better if they improved their customer service.
Really liked three things: spicy bison sausage, garlic chicken, and roasted pineapple. Staff was cheerful and pleasant. That includes the owner or manager (was not sure which) who came by to all of the tables. Thought the salad bar would be bigger, but it was still very good. Wife and daughter really liked the mashed potatoes too. Restaurant itself seemed clean and bright. Overall a really good experience.
Only 2 cons. It is a bit pricey, but what do you expect from a Brazilian stake house anyway? And the price for children was greatly reduced from the adult price, which was nice. So not a big deal. Also, the beef dishes felt a bit under cooked. I like medium-well and my wife and daughter prefer well done, and almost everything beef-wise was red. Not a problem if you like rare, medium-rare, or medium, but if you prefer more well-cooked, just be aware of this. But when my wife asked for well done with no pink, one of the waiters did bring back a piece that they clearly put back on the rotisserie just for her, which we really appreciated. Again, points to the wonderful job of the staff.
Overall, a very nice place that I would definitely recommend.
It was an interesting experience. We went to try it out. The experience will be memorable, but would not return. I expected much better tasting steak. I went for the steak, but received more chicken, ham and pork. That for $25 was okay, but not again, and never for the price they charge for dinner. The skewer method of "grilling" leaves one with medium bits of meat. When I go to a steakhouse, I want a good thick steak I can sink my teeth into. This was a git disappointing.
We went on a Friday for a date night. It was our first time to Rodizio Grill, and we were looking forward to it, since friends of ours have given it very good reviews. We have been to Fogo de Chao and Texas de Brazil, and were expecting a similar dining experience and level of cuisine. The salad bar was average at best in both quality and selection. The tomatoes were pink not red, the beets were undercooked and tough, and the offerings were fairly mediocre, rather than upscale as the other Brazilian steakhouse chains have led us to expect (such as average potato salad, for example; no asparagus, no shrimp). This chain seems to serve all the sides from the salad bar, and credit where credit is due, the collard greens with bacon were excellent. The appetizers brought by the waitress were ok. The cheese puffs were dry, and the bananas were too sweet (prefer platanos), but the fried polenta sticks were tasty. We were hoping the offerings would pick up when they brought around the grilled items. Once again, we were disappointed. The offerings were average at best - glazed ham, tritip steak, chicken that seemed to have Chinese restaurant sweet and sour glaze on it. No filet mignon, no shrimp (the only seafood offered was swai fish and catfish). The chicken breast with herbs was fairly tasty, but you don't come to a high end steakhouse and expect chicken breast to be the highlight of the dining experience. Ditto for the grilled tomatoes they brought around - tasty, but that should not have been the highlight. Tldr: save your time and money and go to Fogo.
We were handed an extensive wine list that did not have any wines available. They gave us a smaller sheet and when we asked for one from that it were not available. 3rd times a charm... our waiter was beside himself but very helpful.
A lot of the meats were not cooked correctly and there is only a choice of five different items.
We were very disappointed but again our waiter was exceptional ...
My family and I went for Sunday brunch at Rodizio grill. The service was exceptional; our gaucho was very attentive, extremely polite, and promptly brought us meats at our request. All of the meats were delicious!
The salad bar was okay - there were some tasty items, but overall I'd say the options were mediocre, and I definitely would not go for the salad bar alone.
Again, we were very disappointed with our experience at the Voorhees location. We only went back again because the Birthday boy wanted to go there. I have written this before, I would prefer to spend $10 more a person, $5 bridge toll and $20 to park and go to Fogo De Chao in Philadelphia. The quality of the food, service and ambiance are 100% better.!
A group of friends and I went to celebrate and used a Groupon for 4 dinners with dessert. Dinner was pretty good, but I have to admit, the desserts were no where near the quality we had expected...and then when the bill came, we were charged additional tax. I've used Groupons there before, including the exact same deal, only for 2 people, 1 month ago, and NEVER had this problem. When I asked to speak to the manager, he was polite...but kept telling me to read the email for the Groupon, which I did...and NO WHERE does it mention additional tax charges. Just disappointed.
We had a very good experience, but I could see how it could go another way. The place just feels too chaotic, but our server Joe was very accomodating, gauchos were very attentive & bartender, too. We had an extra person & they were kind enough to make it work. Everything tasted delicious; all of the meats, apps & loved the roasted pineapple! The area where the salad bar is located gets way too congested, but i enjoyed the selections!
I don't recommend this place, customer service was bad.. My family and I we don't eat pork,after letting them know couple of times they continued to bring us pork. Salad bar didn't have much variety. I ask for the manager to let him know about my experience and he told me if I didn't like it to go across the river..The manager's name is Mark. He is very rude. It's sad because the restaurant looks really nice inside but the quality of the food and the service it's awful.
