It was our first experience and we will return. The meat was delicious.
We visit monthly and love the food, the Gaucho's and the overall experience. Would recommend this to everyone, a great place to go.
I can not say enough how great this place was. The wait staff and gauchos were super attentive and had great communication. The food was amazing and sooooo tender. The salad bar had so many option it really should t even be classified as a salad bar because it had everything: the wait wasn’t long and I saw a couple birthday celebrations that were made twice as good with the amazing song sang by staff. It really was amazing. This was my first date night in almost a year and this place made it twice as good. And let me just say this one more time the food was AMAZING and UNLIMITED! What more could you want?
What a great experience. Everything about our meal was amazing. The meats, poultry and pork were so TENDER! the sides were awesome so don't fill up on the sides before you start having the meats coming to the table!!! It's a fun experience how the meats are summoned to the table so bring a BIG appetite and be ready to be full and smiling!!
My husband and I went for our anniversary celebration. We went at brunch and the food was amazing. Next time we agreed we need to go back for the dinner as the brunch had hot sides of breakfast type foods. Will definitely be back!
What I like about this place is that you get to try a little bit of everything without having to commit to one piece of meat. The salad bar is outstanding, a great addition to the wonderful meat they bring to the table!
Thank you for the amazing nightish. I think. As you work endlessly to improve the quality of your services for a mercilessly intoxicated crowd of degenerates, rawhides and budding artist, there are a few things we’d like to point out. First, the good. The knives seemed adept for throwing, particularly at faces. Not sharp enough to take out an eye, but sharp enough for a good rawhiding scare and hearty laugh. Bravo. Tough needle to thread there. Certainly high risk, high reward. Thank you for all of the bacon at the “food that my food eats” bar. It was inspiring to see a sea of green veggies capped off by a mountain of grilled pig. No fear. Beyond the knives and bacon, your seats also demonstrated your acute understand of your clientele as they made a great place to pass out after a day of too much drinking and excessive chicken eating, which brings us to the bad. In a blatant and offensive shot at our manliness, the first 8 waves of meat at your Brazilian steak house was chicken. What the rawhide is that? At least bring the plate of bacon over. Of course we ate it, and we ate less steak because of it, but we want you to know that we knew what the rawhide you were doing. We just didn’t have the control to protect ourselves from your evil and selfish tactics. But we knew what was happening in real time. Finally, desert. What heartless manager decided it was a good idea to display fake desserts, which look better than real desserts, by the way, and not expect some drunk rawhide to try and pocket one on the way out? Shame. On. You.
All and all, we give you a nine.
Not as good as other Brazilian steakhouses we've been to. The meats were so so. There was no filet. There was no seafood as promised. The service was very slow. It was like we had to wait 5-10 minutes before another meat came around. We kept the mallet on green the whole time and did a lot of waiting for more meats. Most places they are coming one after the other and you have to slow it down. Toward the end we just gave up on getting any more and asked for the check, which also took a good 30 mins before we got closed out. The best part was the buffet and the fried bananas. In my opinion, the meats should have stole the show. For the price people pay for this experience, they really need to step it up!
We had an amazing experience. We went for our anniversary, and it was a great choice! The food, and atmosphere was perfect, and we will be back soon! For 2 of us at lunch our bill was 60 dollars (at lunch time), but very worth it!
The service we had that night was terrible. My husband went to the bar from our table to get another beer and asked for our waiter because we needed our regular drinks to be refilled. The waiter finally came and told us that he couldn’t refill our drinks because their system is down. We couldn’t understand what’s the connection between the soda machine. The food here is fantastic but we had to wait too long for the server to get to our table.
Is one of our favorites we drive a couple hours to eat here at least 3-4 times a year more if time let’s us!!
Everything was great. Our waitress mooch was CRAZY! She spilled my wine on me, she cussed like a sailor the whole time, she degraded the staff and food as well as my husband when she told him he looked 45 when he was turning 33 but that's not all she came up missing for 10 min and the manager came to tell us she had left and we would be compensated on dessert and while we waited on dessert MOOCH CAME BACK and informed us she had just thrown up in the bathroom and she hoped she wasn't pregnant! Yes! She said that! She really needed improvement and duct tape over her mouth.
Good restaurant I'm going back and yes I all ready recommended to my coworkers
Great salad bar, including ceviche. Meats were generally good. Some too rare, some a little tough, although servers did respond to my wife's request for less rare cuts. Very attentive service. Glad we tried it, but won't be back.
As much as I payed for my party of 6 I don’t think I should see the workers on there phone. Food was passed so much slower this time. Very disappointed in this visit
I brought my wife to the restaurant for a Mother's Day dinner and we were very disappointed. The salad bar was a disgusting mess, the lettuce was dark brown, the au gratin potatoes were cold mush. The dinning area was dirty on the floor with dropped food and utensils. The meats were ok but not great. I was so disappointed with the salad bar and the sides, I only had a few bites of beef and chicken. While we were eating one of the waiters dragged two trash barrels past the table that reeked of garbage. The check was $100 +/- and was not worth it. I think they must have been very busy earlier in the day and could not keep up with the cleaning and food quality.
Mother’s Day dinner, we actually had to ask the waiter to have the server to stop by our table with the meat. The beef was really rare or well done. The whole cooked pineapple was really tasty , the best think I ate this evening.
We have previously eaten at 2 other Brazilian steakhouses and loved them. We were in Nashville on vacation on Mother’s Day and made a reservation at Rodizio based on the reviews. This was one of the worst dining experiences we have had. We were seated 1 table from the kitchen where the servers bring out the skewers. They walked by us so many times without offering us anything. We asked a waitress if she could get someone to bring some meat to our table. When they came over they never asked if we wanted rare, medium. The lamb was nothing but fat. We had to ask again for help in getting some meat and again no one asked how we preferred it cooked. Also most of it was fatty. We finally gave up and left feeling hungry after we had to ask a third time for help in getting served. They didn’t even bring all the menu items to us. I will never eat at any Rodizio again.
I'm surprised this place passes a health inspection. Dirty is about the best word I can use to describe how it felt. When I reached for my chair to sit down in the very crowded, loud dining area I got a hand full of a sticky, gross mess of something all over my palm. I had to kick meat out from under my chair in order to sit down and not put my feet in the mess. There was food scattered all around the buffet area. The other thing that made it seem like a health code issue is that everyone uses their own tongs to pull off the meat on the community dish that is taken from table to table. These tongs that have laid on their plates to be coughed and sneezed on and laid in food they have eaten off of. Just feels like a germ fest. It is very loud and they add an instant 20% tip on a party of 4, when the service was really subpar. After sitting for 40 minutes with our green block up we had to ask for someone to bring some meat by. With so many restaurants in Nashville, I would highly recommend going somewhere else.
Ridizios has always been one of our favorite places for special occasions. The last three times we have eaten here, we have noticed the service has gotten slower. For the price, it is important that you should receive quality service. It took over 2.2 hours to eat here, with reservations. The number of times they brought the meat was not acceptable and it was the same menu items. We were told the service was slower because of the special Mothers Day menu. The only difference we had was a mango drink. We never received any "dates" etc that was advertised on the menu. The pineapple was ice cold (twice) taken "right off the grill". Again, this was once one of our favorite places, I have no desire to return. The 20% tip automatically added was not earned. It took us over 20 minutes to get our check. I was not "full" to say the least, in fact, I was more disgusted than anything when I left. I understand being busy for Mothers Day, but again, this is the third time in two months we have received poor service for $39.99 per person.
What little meat we were served was cold. One of the gauchos stated they used propane to cook with. Not your typical Brazilian steakhouse. Save your money!
We went on Mothers day so it was pretty busy as expected. Once we arrived we waited no more than 10 minutes because one of our guests hadn't arrived...it was 4 of us. Once we were seated, we were informed by our waitress that because it was Mothers day they were giving mothers a free mimosa. So we all presented our ID's(mines was a paper copy from march) except for 1 person who had incidentally left her wallet in her car. She ended up going all the way back to the garage and getting hers and returning hoping to take advantage of the special. Well upon presenting her paper copy of her ID, she was told that manager had to approve it(although she had just freely accepted mine 10mins prior). The manager did not approve the ID which understandably is policy but the waitress shouldnt have let one slide and not the other...especially on Mothers Day. Also the waitress waited until it was time for our check to come to tell us that because it was Mothers Day they automatically add the gratuity and im ok with that but it shouldve been stated on the website when listing the Mothers day prices and should not have been a surprise. Other than that it was a good experience.
Wonderful dining experience.
Food and meat carver Tylor were excellent, the only complaint was that it was advertised a Pineapple Mamosas for all Moms but only had Orange Juice Mamosas.
Virtually no wait time with reservation! Convenient valet that's not pricey! Food was amazing, and the gauchos were around regularly to serve as much food as you could want. The waitresses seemed to be stretched a little thin, but they were very responsive when I needed something. Very fun experience overall. The salad/side bar was incredible, and it was a lot of fun to try new dishes and have perfectly-made classics. We went for a special occasion, and it was definitely a hit. I will go again in the future, for sure.
I am not understanding the point of a reservation with Rodizio. We still had to wait about 15-20 minutes until we were seated. The hostess, who seemed to get agitated when I inquired on the process, stated the table was ready, but they needed someone to clean them off( they can’t impact the time the prior customer may have taken). This made no sense when standing behind her were what appeared to be 2 managers, simply holding up the wall. I later saw them helping on the floor, but prior they did absolutely nothing to assist. Luckily, everyone else had service as a priority, as well as a personality.
The food and service are impeccable! The atmosphere is a really beautiful restaurant but not exactly "romantic" given that when everyone is talking it gets really loud inside the restaurant. The ability to pick out your side items (quite a variety) is a plus and then having them come around with various meats cut to order at your table it just so fun and tasty!
They only served 1 piece of meat at a time.. The salad bar was not well stocked.. Server barely acknowledge us. Was truly not impressed.
Had a great time for our 25th anniversary get away! Thank you!
Rodizio is one of my favorite places in Nashville. Food is always great and the service is impeccable.
Waiter was awesome to point black and white no gray area. Food was really good. We got to sit in the window which made it even better. Salad bar was so fresh
This is one of our favorite places. We love to take people there for the first time. We haven’t eaten here in over a year and were really looking forward to it. I understand that we all have off days and I guess this was one of them. The server seemed annoyed with our party of ten and it took a while before the gauchos came to our table. We talked up the experience to our guests before we arrived and we were really disappointed. The food and service are usually exceptional but not this time around.
I would have liked a few more meat selections. The majority of what was offered was different types of steak. I think there was only 1 chicken sampler that came around and I had to ask for the ham and pineapple. All in all we enjoyed ourselves and my Mom enjoyed her early Mother's Day dinner
The food was great. Our server was rude. She was expressionless, dry and gave the impression she woke up on the wrong side of the bed. The meat carving dudes were great. Our server was just a witch. We’ll be back but hopefully with a better waitress!
My awesome co-workers took me to lunch for my birthday. I decided on this place because it was within walking distance and they had never been to a Brazilian steakhouse. They definitely were very please with my choice. One of my co-workers is a vegetarian and was ecstatic with the variety of choices that were available to her. The service was awesome and the food absolutely delicious.
I couldn't even begin to pick just one thing that stood out more than the other because it was all fabulous. The hot item foods, the variety of salads, and the never ending supply of different meats were not only visually pleasing but tasted even better. I have been to a few Brazilian steakhouses (including the Texas de Brazil on West End) but I must say that this one is by far the best out of all of them.
It was a fantastic experience . We were on vacation in Nashville, and wanted to try something different . All of the choices were delicious, and you could eat as much or as little as you wanted.
It was wonderful experience and great food
My husband and I have now been here for the second time and this place keeps getting better!!! The staff the food AMAZING
Great food.. Great service.. Has become one of our favorites.. Would definitely recommend.. Parking is a pain but well worth it...
