Rodizio Grill The Brazilian Steak House Ratings and Reviews
I was not pleased with the meat at all. They served red bloody meat even after we requested well done. Also the meat was not seasoned well. I did enjoy the salad bar and the sides. The seafood gumbo was very good. The mixed drinks were good. The ambiance was good. Overall I enjoyed everything except the meat which is the main course.
Having been to another Brazilian restaurant that we absolutely loved, we thought we'd give this one a try! Saw YELP reviews with an average of 4 so that is always the first thing we check.
The ambiance is a bit rough. Restaurant seems a bit outdated, dark. Service was very good, greeted quickly and sat quickly. everything was explained clearly. Salad bar was much smaller than Texas de Brasil (the other place we've been).
The sides that they brought out were very, very average! some type of cheese stick and then a light, fluffy bread bite. they didn't taste fresh at all. cinnamon/banana bite was a bit better but not just over the top!
What was most disappointing were the meats. Ham was awesome; filet was ok but not melt in your mouth awesome; the rest of them were very average. fish was dry and cold. lamb was good but to fatty!
For $38/per person ($45/person after tax,tip and one glass of wine!), this is not something I would ever try again. I don't mind paying $45/per person for a meal but I want to feel like I got really good meat. this was not that!
Food was great, gaucho service was great and our waitress was nice, however she disappeared for long periods of time and forgot to bring things we asked for (I.e. we didn't receive cheese bread, polenta and bananas until more than halfway into the meat service and we had to ask three times for it).
it was overall a great experience. they did a very good job with there cooking of the food and the way they presented it to you. wait staff and the gauchos were all very friendly. would recommend this place to a side variety of people that I know that would be in Nashville.
Rodizio's was DELICIOUS! I had been to a Brazilian steak house before, but most of the people in my party had not. They truly enjoyed all the different meats and deliciousness! We did have to wait 15-20 minutes past our reservation time to be seated, and our waitress left our table without water for a few minutes. Overall, however, it was a great experience for an affordable price! I would definitely return.
This was our second time to come. I was bringing my wife and oldest daughter to celebrate their birthdays. It was my daughters sixteen birthday. When I told our waiter about their birthday he said great they would do something special for them and they could pick out a dessert. The one thing he failed to say is that the dessert was not complimentary.
This place is fantastic!! If you love meat you will not be disappointed with this place!! I must say though the glazed pineapple was one of my favorite items!! Wow who would’ve thought fruit on a stick rotisserie style!!! It was amazing. All of the meat we had was wonderfully flavored!! Definitely would return to this restaurant.
The service and atmosphere is fine. The only real complaint that I have is that all of the meat served is over seasoned. It makes it difficult to eat more than a couple pieces before you feel extremely bloated from the over abundance of sodium. Makes it very hard to get your money's worth.
We got to the restaurant for my Birthday about 45 minutes early. No problem, they seated us.
Waited about 10 minutes, mind you we’ve never ate here before, wasn’t sure what to do. No one came to our table... went to the hostess stand and ask “what do we do”
They realized no one has greeted us yet. They immediately get a server to take our drink order. A manager comes to our table, apologizes and offers us free dessert.
Which is amazing, but that was not what I expected to happen. So all I was really happy and had a great night
We usually have lunch at Rodizio’s, tonight was dinner for a friends Birthday. We waited 20-30 minutes for our bar drinks. We never got refills on our water or teas. The meats were coming around quickly at first and then slowed down to about 15 minutes in between visits. We had to ask multiple times to get certain meats and they only came by once. I will more than likely stick to brunch. Inner was disappointing.
Atmosphere was lovely. The food selection was vast from salad bar to meats served and everything was delicious. Servers coming by with skewers were very friendly and personable. The only poor part of our experience was out main waitress. She basically forgot about us and we had to go seek her out for our check so we could pay and leave. Even after asking for our check we had to seek her out again to get it. That was disappointing because that's the last impression we left with from the restaurant.
I like my steak well done. I realize that not everyone does, and I don't have a problem with that. What I do have a problem with is that every piece of beef that I got was medium rare. I even specifically asked for the well done portions a couple of times, but I still got bloody meat.
If I'd been at a regular steakhouse, I'd have sent it back. With it on brought on a skewer to you, it just doesn't get "fixed". I paid $75 before tip for two people, and should have been able to get what I want.
The ambience is nice. The building is just cool to look around at. The salads and appetizers are great. When steak is the big ticket item, though, it ought to be right.
The food and service was great as always. Usually try to go for lunch due to the restaurant is less busy and the meat comes around quicker. The servers are great about making sure you get exactly what you want if there is a smaller amount in the restaurant they will go out of meat roatation to make sure you are happy. Try to go at least once a month.
This was my first experience at a Brazilian Steakhouse and my husband's second. Deffinately come hungry to get your money's worth! The wait staff and hosts were super nice and accommodating. I wouldn't say this is a great place to go if you are looking to have conversation because it's so loud and busy but it's absolutely a fun experience!
The restaurant was great. The cold salad bar is one of the best I’ve had. It was fresh, immaculately clean, everything was cold and the variety was amazing.
My only disappointment was with ‘some’ of the meats. If you like your meat well done, you ‘may’ find yourself disappointed. However, there was an amazing variety of meats, my hubby and friends (who prefer Med well / rare) really enjoyed the selections.
The military discount was great.
