We envisioned a steakhouse and lounge unlike any other. A revolutionary steakhouse, in both cuisine and design, which would challenge the strict traditions of American steakhouses. The result is Rococo Steak.

The menu has a larger selection of small steaks, including unique grass-fed options, more playful appetizers, and craveable side dishes. The hip, contemporary design conveys intimacy and sensuality, yet provides a spirited atmosphere for socializing.

Very nice experience , our server Donald, was excellent. Wine was very good for the restaurant price, Lobster bisque with cognac cream , crab cake and the Peach bread budding were outstanding. We had the Dry aged Cowboy Ribeye, very good cut and was quite good not great as it was somewhat charred up top despite still being medium temperature, which kind of threw off some of the taste. My kids shared a burger with the parmesan truffle fries and a chocolate Lava cake which they loved.

Loved loved loved it all. The food and service was amazing. The steaks were cooked well and seasoning was perfect. Our waitress gave great recommendation and helped making this a perfect birthday celebration. Great customer service and the location is beautiful.

Service was outstanding and spot on when we needed attention. Food was very good but slightly pricy for the quality. Very good but the prices would suggest it should be at the very best level.

Very overrated. Steaks are average at best and that is being kind. The Lobster Mac was an absolute joke... all pasty Mac, a nasty pink sauce and little to no Lobster. The Choclate Lava Cake was more like an upside down luke warm store bought cupcake served with a small tablespoon of average ice cream. The best things we had were the Lobster Bisque and the Grilled Asparagus. The waiter was the only asset that tried to save the evening. The most confusing experience was the reservation. We asked for a 630pm to 700pm reservation on Open table and via direct phone call... the only opening we’re were offered was 530pm or from 830pm+. We took the 530pm and when we arrived the tables were only about 15% to 20% full. When we departed at 7:30pm they had only seated about 33% to 40% of the tables at best. Why do they bother making you have a reservation...? I guess they are very optimistic about and must prefer walk-in guests? We found Rocco a waste of time and money... We will not be going back. Your higher end steak dollars are better spent at Fleming’s, Capital Grill, Ocean Prime, Eddie V’s or even the 1200 Chop House on St. Pete Beach.

Valentines dinner was perfect at Rococo's. You know after a good meal and you just feel good? not overly stuffed but just good? That is how we left. Very relaxing atmosphere. The staff was very prompt and professional. I would recommend over Ruth's Chris. The photo below is a picture of my beautiful wife in the dinning room and the other is my 16oz Ribeye with truffle butter. I would highly recommend Rococo's.

My girls 7oz filet was perfect my 10 oz was charred a little bit more than I cared for. Both were med rare. The mushrooms were good at least. Service was mediocre. For the price I would go somewhere else.

The reviews were very good; recommended by concierge at The Vinoy; attractive adaptation of former funeral home; great service (server was Molly); steak perfectly prepared; excellent Old Fashioned (rarely found). Recommend without reservation.

I heard they have a new chef. I have been twice now since they brought on a new chef. I was not a fan previously. People suggested I go back now. Both times, recently, my experience has been outstanding. I went on my anniversary and they seated us in a private room with a booth. It was unexpected and generous. The staff, from the host to the wait staff, are all friendly and accommodating. They pay attention to detail.

The first time I came back, I ordered the snapper and it was amongst the best fish dishes I have had. I would highly recommend the fish even though this is a steakhouse. I went back again and decided to try the steak since it is a steakhouse. I ordered the New York Strip and creamed spinach. My husband ordered the Filet Mignon and truffle fries. My steak was perfect but I had to bring half home because it was so large. The fries were perfect and I would recommend them. The creamed spinach was not what I had expected. It had more cheese in it than one usually finds. Although it was heavy, it was nonetheless delicious.

I intend to keep returning. I will likely try some other entrees like the lamb or lobster. If you were disappointed with Rococo when they first opened, try it again now and you will not be disappointed.

I have a new favorite restaurant. We're from Chicago, so we think we know what's good. The service was excellent, and they have some very inventive specialty cocktails. The happy hour was superb! The dining atmosphere was intimate. Also, the service was outstanding. I can't rate this restaurant high enough. We'll definitely be back!

The food was superb. Beautifully decorated, extremely friendly staff. It's expensive...but delicious and creatively updated dishes. Excellent waitress. Very happy with our experience. They even gave my husband a birthday card and free dessert.
