We were seated at 5:45pm on a Saturday night and it took 15 minutes to get a drink. Our appetizer of oysters on the half shell were fantastic!
Our dinner order wasn't taken until 7:05pm, yup, you read that correctly. We did not get to finish our meal because we had to leave by 7:45pm to make our movie at 8pm. One of our entrees was potato crusted white fish. The fish was very nice, however we were extremely surprised to see hash browns that looked to be from a frozen bag from the grocery store as the supposed potato. All in all I was very disappointed and probably will not be back.

Stacy the server did an amazing job. Was very knowledgeable in the menu and explaining the details of each dish in question. We enjoyed the filet, the haddock, the sal de mer, broiled shrimp, and the wolf fish. Everything was delicious and came to the table hot. Most of us chose the salad and the butternut squash soup. We ended up sharing dessert since we were too full. Creme brûlée, tart cherry cobbler, and ice cream. It was an amazing evening. The only downside to the evening was the noise level. Extremely loud could hardly have a conversation with each other and Stacy had a difficult time hearing us.

Went for dinner around 4:30. Place was quiet as we were there early for dinner. Two members of the party order the braised short ribs but after having our appetizers the waitress came out and said they were out of the short ribs. Not sure why they didn’t know but it would have been nice to know as we sat down to browse the menu. Otherwise the food was tasty and the service was wonderful.

Nice atmosphere, good "real" food. Not noisey. Not too expensive.

They seemingly have gone downhill. Mussels they fail to get right the last 2 times we have ordered them. Just not the same kitchen as before.

From the first sip of my wine to the last bite of my roasted lamb...all outstanding!

Another great time at Rocky's with friends. We met for happy hour and had the calamari and muscles as appetizers. Got were excellent. No one pressured us to leave because we were there for some time after we paid our bill. Again, another great find for us and we will certainly be coming again.

This reservation was made for my parents 65th anniversary. Rocky's has been a favorite restaurant for special occasions for them for many years.
The food was excellent, the staff very accommodating and everything was great for this special occasion.
Would highly recommend for a special occasion or just a nice dinner out.

The bread is super delicious. The food portions are more than expected, and he food is very tasty. The fries are great but a bit salty. The service and pampering are great but could be a bit quicker. Nice location, friendly crew. Good place to visit.

Excellent food and great service. Everything was perfect I have recommended friends to try Rocky’s we live 3 hours away. We make a day of it or stay and make sure we have reserved a table. At Rocky’s.

Used a coupon for dinner and really enjoyed it. Ordered filet mignon and it was delicious! Will be having a shower there soon and looking forward to an enjoyable event!

I had not been to Rocky's in many years. I was pleasantly surprised in finding its high quality has survived the test of time. The culinary lineup was varied and rich. Our waiter, Previn, was knowledgeable, attentive, and full of personality. I will return soon with my foodie friends.

We were disapointed in our server, Matt. We waited 30 minutes before we got the bread, being told it was in the oven, yet the 2 tables next to us got theirs (with a seemingly more attentive wait staff). Ours vanished for long periods. When we got our food it was just luke warm. We had to request water refills. Not the usual Rocky's experience.

We have dined many times at Rocky's and have never been disappointed.

We chose the early dinner time of 5 pm and were very glad we did. The food was delicious, our waiter was attentive, but by the time we finished, the restaurant’s patrons had at least doubled in number. If you’d like a quieter atmosphere, go earlier rather than later.


Btw, Open Table: I had made a mistake in submitting my original reservation and left “2” as the number in our party. I tried to go back and modify it to “4” but was only offered a new time so I had to put “table for 4 not 2” in the special request box. Not sure why. Just thought I’d mention it.

Great lunch. White fish nicely prepared. Fluffy white rice and fresh green beans a nice combination. As always the bread is fantastic!

The food was good but our server ignored us most of the time. She was very slow getting us bread, never refilled our waters.... she absolutely never came by to get the credit card payment. I got tired of waiting and just used cash. I didn't have a lot of cash on me. I would have left a bigger tip but it was all I had. Her fault, not mine.

Went as double date. It was fantastic. Loved the white fish, my husband had ny strip that disappeared quickly. We will go back to try more on the menu.

Six of us dining. One dinner was sent back (spaghetti w/scallops) not good. Tiny things that tasted like they were from a can! That was a first because I've never had a bad meal at Rocky's. All other meals were great. Sorry Rocky.

Been there many times. Sat in a booth to the right as you come in. Not at all busy, service was leisurely at best. A couple of my guests had the pork chop, which they described as tough. My whitefish was fine.
I prefer the seating area down by the fireplace to the left of the entrance door, and, you bring someone to a fish restaurant, order what the restaurant is known for. As for service, I hope they were short staffed or they just had a bad night. I’ve had enough good meals there over the years to go back.

The service, the food, and the ambiance was outstanding. This was my second experience at Rocky's of Northville. I highly recommend this restaurant for any special occasion. Great Job to everyone at Rocky's.

Fish is always good. Fresh vegetables. Desert was fantastic - tiramisu cake.

This has been my "Go To" restaurant for 20 years. It is always great for food and Service. Prices are reasonable. A great place.

This past weekend at Rocky's was fabulous. The meal was DELISH and the service was wonderful! We love going to Rocky's because we find the food to be quite consistent and very tasty.

Service and food was excellent. Surprisingly not rushed on Valentines Day, but we set the pace by not ordering our entire dinner at once. It always works when you take control ...

Table space crowed to adjacent tables. Wait staff understaffed for full dining room. Overcharged $21.00 on bill... waited for correction.

Rockys is back to excellence. Great food and outstanding service. We all had fish (perch and walleye) perfectly done. Clam chowder, calamari and Brussel sprouts were great openers. Very happy we gave Rockys another chance and we absolutely will be back.
