Celebrate Mom on this special day with an amazing 3-course pre-fixed menu and a complimentary glass of champagne; Sunday, May 13th Adults $49
Sunday, May 13, 2018
Do not come here for brunch on Sunday. Hostess was not pleasant, it was clear she did not want to be there. Service was poor. I was brought a cup of coffee and had to flag down the server for cream and sugar. When they brought my husband's pancakes, syrup and butter were not provided, so I had to flag the server down again. It seemed they were more interested in clearing tables than providing great service and employees were not friendly and did not appear happy as a whole....this includes the man in the suit who appears to be a manager. He is completely unaware of the service atmosphere.
Everything about our experience was great aside from the $34 filet I asked for medium and came thinly sliced and well done. My wife's fish was amazing. But I will not order a steak from here again.
My husband and I always bring out of town guests here because it is always an outstanding experience! Beautiful with amazing service and fabulous food. I cannot recommend enough!
Had wonderdul service & the food was AMAZING! Definitely recommend this restaurant!
The staff was very friendly. The ambiance was outstanding. They had good vegetarian options.
My daughter went for prom. She raves about the food and service.
Reserved a table for my daughter's prom. We arrive a bit early and was greeted pleasantly. We only waited just a few short minutes and was seated. Our waiter was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The restaurant wasn't overly crowded, as we arrived at the start of dinner seating. My favorite part was the food, which was truly outstanding!
Food was good, management was awesome and friendly. Our waitress was great and kept my drinks coming, everything overall was perfect!!
The manager Ricardo did everything he could to help me have a gluten free meal.
I was called earlier in the day to confirm my reservation. I was told at that time that we could not be seated outside because they were not serving outside, I agreed.
When I arrived I was reminded that they were not serving outside. I was told that no table was available close to the windows or terrace doors.
I was seated in the bar in a booth. Not long after my guests arrived the restaurant became very noisy . We realized that the bar was a pass through from the outside (River Street) to the elevators of the hotel. It was non stop foot traffic from the street and loud groups of people. It was a very stressful dinner.
Food took a while and came all together. The food was good but did not make up for the distractions. I will not recommend this restaurant for a QUIET dinner.
We had brunch, the food was good and the service adequate. I do not think the food was quite worth the price, but the location along the riverfront did afford a nice view of the ships going up and down the river.
I had to go ask the hostess for water and bread after we'd been seated 15 minutes or more. The waiter was very apologetic and appropriately attentive after that. The scallops were very good but the sides were bland and unexciting. The mahi mahi was just ok and was not cooked throughout. Not horrible but doesn't live up to Savannah standards in my opinion.
We were a group of 4 and not everyone's dinner was wonderful. The seafood was very good. Stay away from the pizza.
As a group of 5 I can understand that getting our order right can be a challenge. Having been a server myself I can sympathize. However the blatant disregard of our table, and business for that matter was appalling. Our server CLEARLY needed assistance. Though the restaurant was not busy, our server was overwhelmed. We waited over an hour for our BILL. When they finally arrived , they we're all wrong. Our bills had to be recalculated an upwards of 6 times. Which was BEYOND excessive, because we each only ordered one drink and our meal. We finally became so overwhelmed with the SLOW service, we tracked down the manager. Expressed the poor service, and all he offered to do was ring us up. For a business who prides themself on service. This experience was laughable. If you like your time being wasted please stop in and spend $25 on salad. If you don't like your time being wasted VISIT ANY OTHER RESTAURANT.
Staff was amazing, so friendly and attentive!! Food was also very tasty and the chef paid close attention to my parties dietary needs
We were sat before our actual reservation time which was nice. When we arrived waitress came to table promptly and took our drink orders....30 minutes went by and we had to get our waitresses attention to ask about our drinks. We were told she would check. She came back to explain that with the st. PAtrick day festivities the bar was backed up. That’s fine we understand that and we understood that there were a lot of people, but we as customers who were sitting down in the restaurant should have been taken care of in a timely manor. One in our party had to ask a few times for her drink after the other drinks came to the table. Food orders/food coming to the table did not take as long the drinks, but two in our complained of their food being cold and their steak being over cooked and tough. When it came time for the check conveniently the computers went down so the bill could not be printed. We understand things happen and we understand that Saturday was busy but it seemed to be one thing after another. The manager was asked for at one point and when he did come over to talk to us all he could manage to say was we’re really busy and that was it.
This was an unexpected treat!!! In Savannah celebrating anniversary and wanted to also watch the game. Well we completely forgot about the game because the rooftop bat upstairs was amazing. Live band Reflections of Love was outstanding!!! Can't say enough about them...Great musicians. Our waitress was super attentive which is not expected in a bar. Food was really good. Used to live in Savannah and they've really stepped it up. We'll be back. A must do!
I celebrated my birthday here!!!! It was Absolutely Amazing!! Food was excellent!! My scallops were to die for!!! Our waiter was the best out if all on our trip!! Love Love Love
Really great food and service and the best overall ambiance on River Street.
Food was very good, service was good at first but it slowed as the place filled up.
The service was extremely slow and it was quite loud. There was a large party of 10-12 people. I feel the restaurant was ill prepared for the demand. The hostess was unfriendly and dismissive. We were seated, given water, and left to our own means. Eventually,we were able to place our order. Our meals were excellent; service and cleanliness are an issue. The hostess cleaning the tables, used another table to collect EVERYTHING; grotesque. Communication was almost nil. It took sometime to pay the tab. I went to the host station to pay the check. The “maybe” manager was there; who said nothing to me, was also dismissive. The environment is uneasy, the culture is negative towards the employees, and the service requires refinement.
We actually sat up on the Rocks on the Roof bar. It's my understanding that the menu is a little more limited up here, but everything was great. We had some great cocktails and the duck wings were fantastic. The view of the city and the river were also amazing.
We love the fact that they have valet parking. The Bohemian Hotel is beautiful. Rocks On The Roof has the best views of the city and waterfront. Rocks On The River is conveniently located close to the center of River Street shopping, and has great river views. Specialty cocktails are great. We shared the Calamari and Focacia. Caesar, Wedge and Chopped Salads were each enjoyed at our table, as well as the French Green Lentil Soup and the Margharita Pizza. For dinner we had Shrimp Linguine, Spaetzli with Pulled Chicken and he Filet Mignon. Everything was delicious and served well.
The food was fantastic, but our server was not attentive in the least. We had to flag down the buss girl everytime we needed another drink or our check. We saw her just standing in the back doing nothing multiple times when we needed her.
Fried green tomatoes tasted like gritty batter. Steak was good.
We sat 15minutes without any server attention. My wife had to request a manager before a server was assigned to us. This was on 2/14/18, Valentine's Day. Wife had shrimp and grits, give it a 4 🌟 and I had the tilefish. It was a very small portion which was over cooked. The tilefish was very dry. I put some sauce from wife's dish on it to make it tolerable. Rate tilefish 1 🌟. Try this place at your own Risk!
The waiter ricardo icarso was extremely nice and helpful as well as willing and would make sure everything was five star experience. My date was impressed by the ambiance the decorations and they gave us the river view! Wonderful valentine experience and for everything we had price was expected.
My husband and I went there for Valentines Day and chose the Valentines day menu and it was a good choice. We had the oystets, salad, the lamb chops and my husband had the filet mignon everyhing was delicious. For dessert lava cake was the perfect end to the meal.
We went for Valentines Day and were pleasantly surprised! We have been here for drinks before, but never a full dinner. It was excellent!
Absolutely outstanding! Service, food, could not have been better
Very nice diner for our trip to Savannah GA. Stayed at the hotel too. Cool decor and perfect setting right on the river with open doors.
Fried green tomatoes are the best! Everything was good.
I’m usually a plan at the last minute guy ,but this time I planned an early Valentine’s Day dinner date. This is one of our favorite places ,everything is always outstanding just like the food. The waitress and waiter were very helpful and patient. The atmosphere is beautiful. Love this place!!!
As usual this is one of my go to spots at the waterfront, great service, great food and always a fun time
Great food. Outstanding service.
Server was excellent but they did not have enough people working so slow.
The service was
Location was great with a view of the water. I'm sure I would have enjoyed a meal in the daylight. We visited for Restaurant Week and it was fine, not overwhelming. I had 'Dumplings and Burnt Ends', which was more like spaetzle with marinated pork bites, but it was tasty.
And I was a bit taken aback at what was considered a 'Super Tuscan'. Tuscan certainly, but not 'super' at least to my taste.
Loved the Turkey Benedict!! Beautiful restaurant!!
