The only recommendation I have is to provide more training for your hostess. She seated us at a window, which we appreciated, but then sat people immediately around us, almost on top of us, and it felt a little claustrophobic. Many tables were available at the dinner hour when we were there and I couldn't understand why the diners weren't given more personal space. Also, I enjoyed my gin and tonic, but the bartender needs to be more generous with the liquor for the price that you are charging.
Great!!! I’ll be back.
Both my husband and I are on a low carb diet. Our waitress was great at letting us make appropriate substitutions. The scallops were perfect.
Love it. Best brunch in Savannah. Amazing food and the view is great.
Went there for a birthday celebration with a group of friends. Our server was inexperienced and seemed shaky, even breaking a wine glass when trying to clear the table. Food was ok but definitely not worth the price you pay for it. For a Friday night the place was dead during prime time. Would not go back and spend the money we did.
Restaurant with excellent service and very kid friendly!
Great service Great food!
Scott and team provided excellent service. Tasty food!
Good experience. The signature cocktails were good, but definitely geared toward the tourist contingent. Wait staff and food were both excellent.
Great place for dinner, and go upstairs to the rooftop for a drink to see the view. Food was very good, full of true southern flavor. In order to get 5 stars you really have to be perfect in my mind. The calamari we got as an appetizer was good but it you are going to serve kegs and tubes make sure you have a decent proportion and plenty of the sauce. The sauce cup was less than a ketchup packet you’d get at any fast food. The batter also barely covered completely, just a little attention to detail would have received 5 stars. Service was awesome!
Went here right after I proposed to my girl friend. We had a reservation for 7:30. It went so great. Once the staff found out we were celebrating her saying yes they went over and above to make it special. We even had a guest at the restaurant over hear about our celebration and they picked up our dessert
Loved this place! Crab cakes were excellent! Will definitely come back next time we are in Savannah.
My Sisters 40th Birthday
We had appetizers and a bottle of wine. The bottle presentation was nice and all of the apps were delicious but the table outside faces a busy tourist-ridden street where droves of people pass by on foot and in cars making for a distracting experience. Service was slow. We waited 30 minutes for our apps and another 25 min for our dessert. The slow service really detracted from positive elements like flavor, plating, decor etc. Lastly, we had a glass of water poured on us/our table from the rooftop bar so it basically rained on just our table. THAT was just stupid. It was right before dessert. We would’ve like to see the restaurant comp dessert to apologize but no accommodations were made.
We waited at our table for 10-15 minuets before even being approached by our server. And I was charged for a extra crab cake when I only wanted The surf and turf and I also was charged for a salad that my date wanted and not both of us.
We visit Savannah often and eat at and recommend the restaurant whenever we can.
We did a Mother's Day eve dinner. The food was very good. The menu was not expansive, but there were enough options. The server was attentive, refilling drinks regularly without us having to ask. We had a window table, so it was nice seeing the people walking by on River Street. It added to the atmosphere and made dinner lively.
We came to celebrate Mother's Day and had a wonderful time. Our server, Amanda H, did a fantastic job.
Our waitress was great! She definitely had a great attitude.
A great place to meet friends while in Savannah. Menu is diverse enough to give everyone options. Prices are superb. Burgers are cooked to order and our friend's salmon looked as delicious as he said it was.
The service was wonderful. Crab cakes were delicious. The restaurant manager was attentive. Great dining experience to sit along the windows next to the river walk and watch the people walk by.
We had a group of 3 people and we got sat in a private room with a group of about 20 people who were there for a private bachelorette party and the noise level was unpleasant. We could hardly hear one another talk across the small table we had. Items on our order were missed and we initially chose the place because of the specials they had listed on their website and on the menu on the outside of the building. Then when we asked for the special item, they said they no longer offered that promotion (even though it was on their website and in the menu on the outside of the restaurant). The manager was not responsive to our request and did not even offer to take the sign down for the special. It was a very frustrating experience and we will not be going back.
We were there to celebrate my wife's birthday and enjoyed a very nice bottle of wine. I had the ribeye steak and she had the filet and crab cake. Everything was delicious. Our server was very attentive. This place has a nice atmosphere too.
Do not come here for brunch on Sunday. Hostess was not pleasant, it was clear she did not want to be there. Service was poor. I was brought a cup of coffee and had to flag down the server for cream and sugar. When they brought my husband's pancakes, syrup and butter were not provided, so I had to flag the server down again. It seemed they were more interested in clearing tables than providing great service and employees were not friendly and did not appear happy as a whole....this includes the man in the suit who appears to be a manager. He is completely unaware of the service atmosphere.
Everything about our experience was great aside from the $34 filet I asked for medium and came thinly sliced and well done. My wife's fish was amazing. But I will not order a steak from here again.
My husband and I always bring out of town guests here because it is always an outstanding experience! Beautiful with amazing service and fabulous food. I cannot recommend enough!
Had wonderdul service & the food was AMAZING! Definitely recommend this restaurant!
The staff was very friendly. The ambiance was outstanding. They had good vegetarian options.
My daughter went for prom. She raves about the food and service.
Reserved a table for my daughter's prom. We arrive a bit early and was greeted pleasantly. We only waited just a few short minutes and was seated. Our waiter was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The restaurant wasn't overly crowded, as we arrived at the start of dinner seating. My favorite part was the food, which was truly outstanding!
Food was good, management was awesome and friendly. Our waitress was great and kept my drinks coming, everything overall was perfect!!
The manager Ricardo did everything he could to help me have a gluten free meal.
I was called earlier in the day to confirm my reservation. I was told at that time that we could not be seated outside because they were not serving outside, I agreed.
When I arrived I was reminded that they were not serving outside. I was told that no table was available close to the windows or terrace doors.
I was seated in the bar in a booth. Not long after my guests arrived the restaurant became very noisy . We realized that the bar was a pass through from the outside (River Street) to the elevators of the hotel. It was non stop foot traffic from the street and loud groups of people. It was a very stressful dinner.
Food took a while and came all together. The food was good but did not make up for the distractions. I will not recommend this restaurant for a QUIET dinner.
We had brunch, the food was good and the service adequate. I do not think the food was quite worth the price, but the location along the riverfront did afford a nice view of the ships going up and down the river.
I had to go ask the hostess for water and bread after we'd been seated 15 minutes or more. The waiter was very apologetic and appropriately attentive after that. The scallops were very good but the sides were bland and unexciting. The mahi mahi was just ok and was not cooked throughout. Not horrible but doesn't live up to Savannah standards in my opinion.
We were a group of 4 and not everyone's dinner was wonderful. The seafood was very good. Stay away from the pizza.
As a group of 5 I can understand that getting our order right can be a challenge. Having been a server myself I can sympathize. However the blatant disregard of our table, and business for that matter was appalling. Our server CLEARLY needed assistance. Though the restaurant was not busy, our server was overwhelmed. We waited over an hour for our BILL. When they finally arrived , they we're all wrong. Our bills had to be recalculated an upwards of 6 times. Which was BEYOND excessive, because we each only ordered one drink and our meal. We finally became so overwhelmed with the SLOW service, we tracked down the manager. Expressed the poor service, and all he offered to do was ring us up. For a business who prides themself on service. This experience was laughable. If you like your time being wasted please stop in and spend $25 on salad. If you don't like your time being wasted VISIT ANY OTHER RESTAURANT.
Staff was amazing, so friendly and attentive!! Food was also very tasty and the chef paid close attention to my parties dietary needs
We were sat before our actual reservation time which was nice. When we arrived waitress came to table promptly and took our drink orders....30 minutes went by and we had to get our waitresses attention to ask about our drinks. We were told she would check. She came back to explain that with the st. PAtrick day festivities the bar was backed up. That’s fine we understand that and we understood that there were a lot of people, but we as customers who were sitting down in the restaurant should have been taken care of in a timely manor. One in our party had to ask a few times for her drink after the other drinks came to the table. Food orders/food coming to the table did not take as long the drinks, but two in our complained of their food being cold and their steak being over cooked and tough. When it came time for the check conveniently the computers went down so the bill could not be printed. We understand things happen and we understand that Saturday was busy but it seemed to be one thing after another. The manager was asked for at one point and when he did come over to talk to us all he could manage to say was we’re really busy and that was it.
