Good food and great atmosphere. We got there later than our reservations due to horrible traffic and they accommodated is without a problem. Food came out super fast too. Didn’t care for spicy margarita but everything else was good. Waiter was very patient. Decent prices.
We had a dinner reservations at 6:15pm and arrived at 6 and they seated us right away. The hostess that seated us was very friendly. :)
The server was friendly BUT she didn't come around to check up on us and took a while to finally get her to bring us a dessert menu. It was busy but not to the point of not being able to check on us. I noticed there was another table that was having the same problem.
We were very disappointed that they would not allow my mom to order a salad with her dressing on the side. They said bc it was a busy night. Really disappointing, we ended up just having a drink and leaving.
First time experiencing the restaurant and was unfamiliar with the location. Was disappointed with location, menu selection, quality and price of the food. Seemed like a good place to drink and have bar food but underwhelming as a dinner location.
I took my wife there for her birthday and we had a great time. Our server (I can't remember his name)
was outstanding. The food and sparkling wine was very good. We'll be back!
When I booked reservation it did not say No Happy Hour that night , I based my planets on the menus ( excellent value for all the selection), as we had 6 in our party. Waiters could have checked on us without us having to ask for items. so disappointing.
The only good Jambalaya with rice ever🍛
The fish tacos were excellent as were the truffle fries! My lunch buddies had the mahi mahi special which was also quite good.
Great table service. Would recommend!
I waiter was amazing he was outstanding with our ever need and he brought extra butter when we needed it
food quality not as good as in the past. fried foods were dripping with oil. lettuce in salad tasted like chemicals. one person in our party was intestinally sick before we stood up to leave. yikes!
My colleague and I enjoyed a very good lunch, excellent service. Blackened salmon sandwich and green beans was fresh and very good. Will be back!
The service was terrible and the food was just fine.
Easy to get to the Microsoft Theatre on time. The parking was great, location was great and the food choices were very good. The bar had open seating which made it nice to move from outside to inside.
The food was good. The server was good and had a fun personality. My only complaint was it was so hot in the restaurant. It felt like the air conditioning was malfunctioning. We asked the server but he didn't really have an answer or seek to find one. It was unacceptable how hot it was in that restaurant.
Vacation. Food was fresh, hot, well prepared, and excellent. Moscow mule was one of the best I’ve ever had, but was 2/3 ice and 1/3 liquid — not good value for $14 per drink.
Meal never showed up after 40 min and we left.
Great food, friendly service. Sat quickly
It was nice sitting outside waiting to attend a concert watching the crowd go by.
They couldn’t get the meat cooked correctly.
Great Food, big portions, nice and friendly staff
Went there during din LA week. The mahi mahi was delicious. The music was a bit loud for my taste.
The quality and variety of food was good. The service was poor. Our server was laughing it up with his fellow workers while we waited for somebody to greet us after being seated. Our server didn’t come to the table until we went to the hostess and asked who our server was. He then came, unapologetic, and acted like everything was fine. I hope you got the message from our tip.
We came for Dine LA and it really has exceeded our expectations. We always love the food there but it is exceptional even for Dine LA. We were very impressed.
I had a lunch date with my daughter my entree was excellent I had the fish of the day and I've already recommended Rockn Fish to my coworker who's going next weekend.
The food was good and the service and interior was nice. A little bit rare for a downtown Los Angeles restaurant!
Had the ahi poke appetizer and the flatiron steak. Very tasty. Server was attentive. Sat in outside eating area.
Great waiter the food is ok. I guess you pay for the location more than anything else.
These guys were great, despite a large wait they sat us based on having a reservation. Because of how busy they were our side salads arrived before our drinks and the bread is not free you had to ask and it’s $2.95 which seems like nickel and diming the customer - other than that good drink menu and food was ok
Great food upbeat vibe, great for eating prior to Staples events!
Food just OK of for the price - bill was $2.0 for 3 people. Place was super busy and hectic. Our server was fine I just don’t think the kitchen could keep up.
Also- the women bathroom is TOO small..there was along line to use no matter what time I went. Who wants to stand in a noisy hot hallway to use restroom for 15 minutes - NOT GOOD!
Great food and service. Sam was the best!! I would highly recommend to all
Table was ready but no booths available for private dining. Most tables are adjacent with spaces for individual access to benches on the other side. No privacy. Table service, clearing and response to requests were excellent. No free table bread. Food was good and arrived quickly. Overall a nice experience. Reservations recommended as the waiting line was long when we left the establishment.
Delicious food. Waiter didn’t come around often or notice our water & ice tea hadn’t been refilled. Only complaint tho
Strike 1. I requested (reserved) outside seating and was given inside.
Strike 2. The people that sat down 3 minutes after us we’re done with their dinner before we even got ours.
3. My son ordered pasta and it came with no Parmesan. We requested it and it arrived 9 mins later and the pasta was cold.
I would never come back here.
Location is awesome, would not take special requests unless allergy related and would not cut a wedge salad prior to bringing it to the table. Otherwise, wait staff was friendly and we enjoyed our meal and the experience.
The food was absolutely delicious! I always order the seafood jambalaya and I’m never disappointed. My family enjoyed their meals as well. Keep up the great job!
We had a reservation and was seated right away. The restaurant was busy due to it being Friday night. It took a while for the waitress to get to us, about 15 minutes. She was very friendly and nice which made it ok. After we ordered, it took a long time for the food to arrive. We ordered a second drink and it too took a very long time to arrive. Food was good, it could be great if it was at least warm:( Overall, they were under staffs. Our waitress did the best she could under the circumstances.
They forgot my order. Didn’t cover tables well. Food was cold.
Great food. Great service. Great menu. Great location! My first dining experience at this wonderful restaurant - definitely going back!
The salmon salad was delicious. Wait staff is attentive and responsive. Rock’N Fish you ROCK!
Food was delicious!!
