Price seems a bit high for the “bar” ambience

Was going to a concert at the Grammy Museum and had a fabulous meal at the Rock'NFish. My guava had the surf and turf and I had macadamia mahi mahi. Perfectly cooked.

We come here often before Clippers Games at Staples Center. It's convenient and fun. Their bread is the best!

I eat here regularly. This was the worst steak I ever had here. It happens sometimes. My wife loved the Rockfish dinner. Our other visits have been well above average.

One of our favorite downtown LA restaurants. Friendly, professional service, and great food.
Great go-to spot before or after a Kings' game or other LA Live event.

The presentation and taste of the food was very good, but the noise level was extreme.

Nice gathering of friends for dinner before concert at Microsoftt Theater. Everyone enjoyed their dinner and our waiter was great getting us out in time to walk over to concert.

The wife had the swordfish, which didn't come with a starch, a bit odd but she was okay with it, it came with grilled asparagus and a corn maque choux (a little like creamed corn but not so creamy), I guess that's how I would describe it, very tasty. I had the Kapalua rib-eye steak, served with jasmine rice and green beans. The steak was supposed to be cooked to medium-rare but it was a little more like medium but marinated so well that it was very tender. Sorry, we didn't have room for desserts nor appetizers, so I can't comment on those dishes. Would like to explore more of the menu on a future visit. Service was very attentive but not so overbearing.

Every time I've come here, I've been please with the food. The cocktails are also quite good. We've had problems, however, with it being super-crowded. While a reservation takes care of getting a table, the service (especially for drinks) suffered. I know we would have ordered a few more drinks had it not taken 15-20 minutes for our drink orders. I know it's tough when there are multiple concerts/events near the venue--seems they might be able to plan better for that? I would still recommend the place--just prepare to wait.

Traffic was terrible and we got delayed. I called and they were able to move our reservation to 15 minutes later, even though no reservations looked to be available on Open Table. They were super nice about it. Got right in when we did finally arrive. It was very busy because it was right before a Laker game. Took a while to get our drinks, but moved right along after that.

Rock' Fish is our favorite place to eat prior to any event at Staples Center. It's nice that you can make reservations in advance so that you're not waiting 45 min to 1 hr for a table. LA Live restaurants can get extremely busy so reservations really help and the food at Rock'n Fish is consistently very good.

Table was ready when we showed up for our reservation before a Kings game. Service was great. Waiter did a perfect job balancing checking in and leaving us alone. My wife didn't love the fish part of her fish and chips. Fries were great! Will return for another meal.
