Great french dip. Great service. Cool location. Very clean and classy!
This was my second visit to this particular RockN Fish, but had more recently been to the one in Manhattan Beach. This particular visit was ok, but there were some issues. For one it was very cold in the restaurant. Although I understood the hard rock in the restaurant due to its theme, it was so loud, we couldn't hear each other talking. Calamari appetizer was, good. RockN House salad had a bit of a sour taste. Could have been the cabbage. My wife ordered the Catch of the Day which was a Sea Bass and she seemed happy. I ordered the Southern Style Catfish. I had assumed this would be fried which it was not. At first it tasted good, but the more I ate, the more bland and soggy the fish got. Also it had broccolini and asparagus, which I would have expected a starch instead of asparagus, which was not listed for the dish on the menu. We might think twice before coming back to this location.
One of the worst experiences of my life. Food was good but the waiter was terrible and when the manager was called over she did nothing about it. I will never eat there again.
Great food and atmosphere to hang out before a game
Rock'n Fish was excellent, accommodate our physicians for a great social gathering.
We told the server that we had limited time due to going to the Laker game. He took our order within minutes of being seated and the food came out quickly. Everything was as ordered and was hot! We made it to the game easily.
Everything about my experience at rock ‘n Fish was at 10 I highly recommend this restaurant
Lovely time. I had the Blackened Swordfish and thought it was tasty. All in all a good time.
The manger has excellent customer service even on the busy nights he checks on everything
Salmon was cooked and brought to the table raw through out the middle of the portion. The manager rectified the issue with a new plate and comped us for the appetizer.
service was very good and the place is fun, eaten there 10 times and the food has slowly deteriorated in quality
We had dinner and drinks there before the Laker game. The roasted artichoke was so good. Had a great time as well. We would for sure go back again.
Service was horrible
A plus service food was good
Waitress was not pleasant
Didn’t check on how the food was or give me more water or dessert
Fun atmosphere and food was great! I recommend the blackened fish tacos and fish & chips.
Always great place to dine
Went before a show at Staples. Service was good, the food was average. They clearly wanted to turn over the table, as restaurant got quite busy- kept getting asked if we were done with meal, even though food still or the plates. Overall had more of a chain restaurant vibe and a little pricy for the quality.
The food was great. The service was good also. The only thing I have to complain about was that the server, while he was very good, never looked up from his computer. He never once made eye contact.
We used to eat at the Manhattan Beach location years ago and thought we would try the LA live location before a hockey game. We were disappointed with the overall quality of the food - not good at all.
Good.....a little slow getting food but was good.
Great overall experience before attending the Lakers game
William provided excellent customer service and was very professional
We were a big party and got there right as they were opening. We were sat right away. It was relatively quiet. Most of the party has never eaten there before, but the food was great. Our server was attentive while still handling the bar area as well. Great experience.
Food was ok but was over seasoned. Service was horrible. Would not recommend.
The front desk ladies did not seem interested in the customers. They spent a lot of time speaking amongst themselves. I had to repeat my name multiple times. They all seemed clueless. We had a reservation but had to wait a long time and repeatedly request when our table would be ready. We felt like we were invisible.
We were finally seated. Our server was fantastic in the beginning. Then only half the food came out and there a a long lag until the rest came out. I’ve been to Rock N Fish in MB many times. The food and the service are much better. My salmon sandwich was soggy and not very good
Pleasant and fun
My dish was very salty. I didn't like it. I've had it before so I know what it tastes like. I should have sent it back, but we were pressed for time. Also the waiter was less than attentive. I kept having to ask others to get him to come over to the table. Not worth the money I paid.
The manger and Donny are just over the top with service
It was great, me and my girlfriend both loved everything about it!!!! Food was amazing And the beer selection was perfect......service was great thanks to Andre...made us feel welcome and recommended great dishes (seafood jambalaya)!!! Very great overall experience! Thank you
Everything was exceptional! It’s a bit expensive but it’s downtown LA so it’s expected. The server didn’t hear us order the appetizer but she was super sweet about it. Love this place!
It’s was good, a bit noisy. I should have researched a little better, but change of plans due to weather. Brought my boyfriend here for his birthday before a Kings game. I wouldn’t bring someone here for a bday again, maybe a place for dinner and drinks with friends.
Came to eat before Lakers game. The food is good and great service.
Good food. If you order steak they overcook so ask for a bit rarer than you like.
service was slow and the food was just ok. Many better choices at LA Live
First dinner with our 5 month old baby. The food, service, and ambiance were phenomenal. They were very accommodating and welcoming, the host and waiter made the night very special. The food was super delicious- we had the Surf and Turf with the filet mignon to name the main dish. Thank you!
quality fish and excellent dessert. 3rd visit to restaurant. Grilled artichoke usually amazing but this time dry and tough. not worth the 14.95 price tag
They added my favorite salmon pesto pasta back on the menu and I was so happy and shocked!
Great experience. Food is fantastic. !
You must try the Kona Pie!
